Cheemas American Pool and Snooker in Sunderland

Rude owner, wanted to charge for water for a child! Lots of empty lockers but won’t let people pay to use them then charge for use of cues . Only re joined as spot white closed and thought the owner might be more hospitable, will not return ever. Do not recommend at all.

Hi my name is Chris mcdonut and I came here on the 1st of January for a couple drinks with friends owner made fat jokes towards me which made me feel not welcoming then gave me a glass of coke which tasted like foisty cat piss don’t recommend

Visited with my kids for a game of pool. Rude owner. Bad service and experience. Will never go back.

First round was £13.70 for a Coors, dark fruit, desperados, and coke. Second round was £22.30 for 2 dark fruits, one Coors, desperados and a coke. One more pint and got charge £9 extra just make the prices up as they go.

Tablets in desperate need to be reclothed, sweat box no air at all, owner is extremely rude and tells customers to go elsewhere where you ask for better conditions

I travelled up from Durham for a few games of pool after my mate had booked a table, or so we though !! When we arrived we were told that we could not have a table as a comp was being run that night. After complaining the manager just walked away to interested in the comp. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. My advise is to customers that you ask if any comps are on that day. Also my advise to Cheemas is to make sure your staff know what events are happening.

5 of us went to play pool and have a few beers, great place with loads of tables and a big selection of beers etc, food is also served and all at reasonable prices. £5 gets you a year membership. Staff are all very friendly

Another visit to Cheemas. Most enjoyable afternoon of snooker with family. Very friendly staff. Good selection of beers/lager on offer at reasonable prices. Popular venue on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Food is also available. Family run business.

Visited Cheemas Snooker Club Sunderland. Family run business in a converted cinema. During the day there are deals on the Snooker Tables between 11am and 5pm with considerable savings. (12 noon Sunday's). Very friendly staff serving good food and beers. Well worth a visit.

Firstly I am shocked that somebody has moaned about not being able to lean on the tables. You obviously don't play snooker otherwise you would know that sitting or leaning on the edge of a table can cause damage, and cause it to roll. The only issue I have with Cheema's is the customers who defy the no phones rule, and keep it on loud, and then proceed to take phone calls in the hall, very disrespectful. However, drinks are reasonable and a good selection, food smells and looks good (although I've never tried it) and the tables are reasonably priced, but some need re-clothing. Much better than Riley's!

Would never go back if you lean on a table they are there straight away telling you off mmmm how do they think you pot a ball ,you have to lean over table

i make sure i visit this place at least 2-3 a month, mainly on a friday always has a good atmosphere, everything is reasonably priced, friendly staff, also serves food and alcohol

The Cheemas is a very nice pool and snooker lounge. It has an awesome atmosphere and it´s a wonderful place to relax, eat or watch football.

Cheemas is not just a Pool and Snooker lounge it is an experience. It is run by a family who always have time for a chat and they know nearly everybody in their Lounge. As part of Cheemas your are part of a familiy because there is no anger or problems. You have the possibility to watch nearly every football match from all around the world on 3 large flat TVs. If you don't want to watch you can play pool or snooker on excellent tables for a fair price and not only adults also small kids can play there now. This is not the only possibility up there. The food is selfmade and you can taste that. All in all it was a super place to stay and I would go there everytime again when I'm in Sunderland again! I wish you all the best for the future and when I come back I will definetly visit you again!

Esta piscina billar y snooker club también tiene un muy cómodo salón para ver todos los partidos de fútbol quería en pantalla plana TV. La variedad de la comida y de las bebidas es fabuloso y la calidad de la comida, también interior y pool y snooker mesas es excelente. Fui allí dozents de veces en los tres últimos meses. tiene un ambiente cálido y muy confortable ambiente de salón, que no encontrará en ningún otro sitio en Tyne and Wear. Nunca me han decepcionado por este lugar de ninguna manera. El club está gestionado por una familia que siempre tiene una cálida bienvenida a todo el mundo. Para mí es el mejor lugar para descansar que puedes encontrar y que se pueden encontrar en el futuro. saludo a todos los miembros de la familia de Cheema.
