Had lovely food spent quite a lot of money for the food but didn’t realise you had to pay £4.50 per child to play in the soft play ?! Surely if your spending so much money on food you could get it for a discounted price especially when you have 2 children ? ! I Found this quite a rip off and won’t be going again especially when the soft play area is tiny ! Think you need to rethink your prices especially with the cost of living !

We visited got Lunch recently , and a most excellent experience it was too . Although the place was busy with young families , the service was second to none ! I had a Vegetarian Protein Bruch , and my Partner chose home made pan cakes with Pecann Nuts and banana . Both dishes I heartily recommend

I've visited here solo, with my wife and with the family but despite excellent service and tasty food I've just realised I've never reviewed it. I notice the seating has changed and the white chairs have gone. I personally find the replacement ones comfier so no complaints there. No complaints about their cappuccino coffees either which are consistently made as requested, very hot. Often I call in just for that but their porridge is also excellent for texture and fruit etc. Come to think of it everything we've had has been very good so we tend to take it for granted. I feel guilty not to have acknowledged it sooner. Service is always friendly and efficient. Difficult to single one out in particular but J makes the coffee usually so thank you.

Lovely place in the centre of the town with smiling staff and light interior. Brunch menu included everything to be happy visiting modern times England - tasty and nice. Place is not very large but enough space to fill good .

Went here to use soft play area for my grandson (4) .Myself and my son (16). The service was wonderful the staff attentive. The food was delicious. Definitely a gem of a place. Would certainly recommend and will visit again.

I wanted a quick coffee with my daughter and grandson. Unfortunately, this was not my experience on Saturday. We ordered sourdough toast, a coffee and a coke. They were certainly on a go slow. It took 40 mins to get anything. My daughter had to chase the order twice. We saw other people coming in for a takeaway and getting served immediately and other people who had ordered drinks and breakfast after us. Even after the drinks arrived, we still had to remind them about the toast. They still managed to get that wrong, bringing 2 toasts when we asked for one and an extra plate. Despite, our long wait for a simple order and the mix up, there was no apology. They clearly do not care about customer service and I will not be returning.

Lovely morning Just been swimming and I fancied some Granola with Greek yogurt, lucky enough the Chateau opens up at 9am on Sunday. I ordered the Granola with Greek yogurt & it was really lovely,filled me up for rest of the day.

Spontaneous visit as the menu looked appealing as we were walking by and we weren’t disappointed! Fast and polite service, good coffee, well prepared tasty food, what more could you ask! The cakes looked amazing, although I managed to resist! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and will definitely visit again when in town.

I visited the Cafe at the very end of 2021 with family. I think the Cafe didnt expect many customers due to festive days and didnt have many staff however there was a blonde lady with glasses (Tania her name we asked 😊) who was so quick while serving us and didnt lose her smile while serving. We love when we visit places for food or drink and people like this make your day just by doing their job properly. Food was nice as well, Cafe has many choises for everyone, would definitely visit again! Oh and there is soft play at the back for children, another reason me and family will visit again 🙂.

Lovely food, good atmosphere and quick and polite service…However, was horrified to see our kids served with single use plastic cutlery in non-recyclable plastic wrapper and plastic straws in their drinks! This is very poor and irresponsible decision of the cafe’s management - need to do better! When they decide to switch to more sustainable option, we will gladly return.

My friend and I took our 6 month old babies here today and loved it. Lovely coffee, friendly staff and easy online booking for the softplay.

Amazing cafe - delicious food and great coffee, lovely play area for little ones, highly recommend. Staff are so friendly and welcoming, very clean too.

Visited for a late running breakfast , the sourdough toast was most excellent as was the poached eggs and side salad . The black coffee was strong and good

Popped in for breakfast and was not disappointed. The interior is bright and airy and the staff friendly and helpful. Their menu is a delight to read and even better to sample, healthy fresh-tasting food. Nothing is too much for the staff, they are happy to swap items on the menu to suit your preferences. Well done!

Staff are very friendly and attentive and make sure you feel welcomed. Coffee is lovely and prompt. We ordered pancakes and were very impressed with the presentation and taste.

The cafe is clean, classy and has good staff. The coffees are very nice and the breakfast very tasty with nice side salad and balsamic vinegar. I would recommend for a good catch up with friends

I found myself in Bishops Stortford today by chance, having never visited the town before. I saw the outdoor seating first and thought how lovely the cafe looked. Inside all covid measures were in place - hand sanitiser, track and trace book, staff in masks...

I came in to get some take away coffees and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to return for food and to dine in when possible!

Super friendly new cafe with a great vegan menu. Stortford has plenty of cafes but this one is a welcome new addition. I'm not vegan but the vegan brownie was delicious! Lovely friendly owners
