Absolutely awful, Ordered for my disabled son whose order didn’t arrive. When I queried the mistake I was shouted at by the manager with really upset my son They refused to deliver the missing £18.90s worth of missing food and said it is über eats problem to sort out and not there’s I did hear bad things about this place but didn’t think kit would be this bad. Basically don’t order from here if you’re disabled or if you want decent food. Honestly they were so rude to my son with disabilities, i can’t forgive p

Ordered 4 meals and received 3! Called and was told I could get a credit for next time! When I asked them to deliver my food they told me a manager would call back! Needless to say no one called and no food arrived!!!

Forgot one of the meals, said they would call back and didn’t!!!! Paid £43 to watch 3 other people eat their meals!! Awful service!

Estimated delivery was 13:10-13:30. Was reported as delivered until I chased up. Got sent a new delivery time of 14:20 and it arrived at 13:57 cold.

I didn’t like it, but am aware that this may just be personal preference. I was expecting a grilled, crispy (skin) chicken. Instead I got a chicken doused in sauce (not a fan of the flavour of the sauce either, tasted sour), the skin was soft, not crispy. Ordered 2 chickens, ate nearly half, threw the rest away :(

Sad to say that I’ll never be ordering from here again. This place used to be a family favourite but recently every order has arrived smaller in size, cold and a few times nearly 2 hours for a delivery. The chicken portions are so tiny and taste rubbery we’re so disappointed.

My experience with Chargos in Aylesbury has been nothing but hassle, I’ve ordered from here a handful of times and the portions are always so small and chicken feels like rubber!! I would suggest to stay clear from this restaurant as they do not take pride in any of there services, if it would let me I would give 0 stars.

The cakes were visibly stale, nothing to do with how it was made or ingredients. This is a shop bought cake and resold, it just taste like it had been sat out all week, otherwise the food was good!

I was craving some fresh beef meat today, I ordered a beef burger and it was so tasty the meet was cooked perfectly with veggies inside and the staff are so respectful and friendly 🥹 I recommend this restaurant wasn’t disappointed 👍

I have been ordering with this franchise for few years now, delivery option only. but the quality of the food has gone down a lot. Your fires are burn and dry, the lettuce or not even fresh and horrible. The salads you provide on your menu not the same when it arrives. Sorry guys but I will not be ordering what you can't promise on your advertisements.

Came here great Delicious food amazing service however there are always three little boys coming in causing issues towards the staff, harassing the girls. This should be dealt with.

The food was good. But it is expensive for what I got.

Disgraceful service. Do not order from this awful company. Their website calculated a higher delivery charge which was double the usual because I was slightly further away, which is fair and I agreed to the charge and placed my ordered. After an hour wait I rang to see where my food was to be told that the only way they will deliver is with another delivery charge price increase of more than double! Now almost £9 delivery! Either I accept or they don’t send my order. Waste of one hour waiting and now anywhere else is closed.

Would not order from here again, much rather go to Nandos or McDonald's. The burgers were wrapped in a kitchen foil and when opened looked like wet sqashed sandwitches. Chicken fillets were actually a thin chicken breast in spices, sliced up with some spices. Pita bread was small and cold. Grilled halloumi was ok. If you are considering ordering from here - save yourself some money and disappointment and order elsewhere.

Can easily say this is the best takeaway in Aylesbury, have ordered from here religiously every week for the past 4 years. Consistent quality of food and service. Plenty of dietary choices to cater for all needs. Definitely recommend!

Food is tasty enough, but how can they really be this slow. With delivery, the only thing reliable about food is it will be there after when you are actually hungry... Waited 2 hours for a couple of burgers. Chased and restaurant guy seemed put out I was asking where it was after 1.5 hrs just remembered to say sorry as he hung up. I ordered at 6pm so before any sort of standard food rush. Can't cancel an order via an app, but wish I hadn't made this choice. It's not even a weekend to be that busy to justify slow delivery/wait times!! Seriously frustrated/disappointed.

I used to like this place when it was first open. The food used to taste nice and fresh and you could tell they've made an effort but now every time I've bought it, I find the chicken is always dry, hardly any sauce, fries can be sloppy occasionally, it's definitely not in my top 10 anymore.

Went in for a quick chicken wrap for my sister and I. Have to say these guys have the best chicken wrap, it wasn’t dry like other takeaways and tasted amazing! Didn’t have to wait long and customer service was great! Deffo recommend! (Aylesbury)

I ordered mixed platter last night and they gave me a spoiled 4 chicken strips. I informed them about this but the staff was adamant that it was not spoiled even though I was the one who tasted it and I used to order from them numerous times.The staff does not accept any feedback. Instead, he keeps insisting that the food wad not spoiled.

Delivered to wrong address. When contacted the driver and corrected issue made by shop the food was cold. Small portions, zero care given.

It is the 2nd time that we received mayonnaise on our burgers despite ordering no mayonnaise. We also received fizzy drinks instead of Juice for our kids. Very disappointed!

Have stayed loyal to this business despite the Pepes opening closeby. However, ordered tonight, sent us old dry chips that have probably been lying around all day. Asked for peri fries which literally only have 1 sprinkle of peri salt on them. Burger bun was chewy, probably been out of date for over a week. Forgot the cheese in my burger despite charging us for it. Honestly not asking for much, forgetting the cheese fair enough thats human error. But sending old dry chips instead of frying some fresh ones which literally takes 2 minutes is what has forced me to write this review.

I've ordered half a chicken last night 29th December's 2021. Unfortunately the chicken smelt badly. I dont have a strong sense of smell so it must've been very bad. I called them to report it and and spoke to the manager who didn't apologise at all and said that they will send another one. An hour later they arrived but decided not to take it and gave them my smelly chicken back. I'm never going to order from them again.

Late delivery even though paid extra with Uber for priority. Food was room temperature. Large hair was found inside a chicken wrap that then put everyone off their meals. Will never order from them again.

I was on my way back to London but decided to eat something on the way. I looked up to find some places and Chargos came up so decided to give it a try. I ordered 1/2 chicken (Mild) meal with Rice and 6 peri peri wings (hot). But the cashier did not bother telling me that the meal does not come with the drink so I had to play £1 extra for the drink . I'm not sure since when a drink is not included in a meal? The 1/2 chicken was good, juicy and not dry at all. However, the rice were below par. They looked like the sticky ones from the bottom of the pan :( The chicken wings were a total disaster. They were bland and could barely taste any sauce on them. For a food lover and enthusiast, this was one of the worst food I've ever had. The prices were reasonable but the food quality definitely needs some serious attention. I won't be risking Chargos ever again.

First time trying and I really liked it

Hair in my food.... We ordered from there on a Friday night as we needed a quick meal and Deliveroo said it would be ready in 20 mins to collect. We got a notification once ordered saying that it would be 30 mins, we went to collect at the stated time and we were waiting around for another 10-15 mins. Once we got back to eat, the first bite of my burger had a long black hair in it which was absolutely disgusting and put us all off our meals. We spend nearly 50 pounds on food for the family and it was ruined as we didn't know if we were going to find more hair in the other meals. Luckily ordering through Deliveroo, we got our money back on the burger but I still feel massively disappointed. The staff were friendly but that was a huge let down and we will not be returning...

I had the piri piri coated chicken burger with fries. The burger was hot but not overpowering, packed full of flavour and fresh. The fries were off the scale! crispy, crunchy, fresh and perfectly cooked, best fries I've had in a long time.

Very bad service, long time talking and food was very bad in taste. Food were given which was prepared quite while ago. Not freshly prepare. Very disappointemwnt.Not recommended.

We ordered accidentally and tried to call the restaurant to cancel, they said they wouldn't prepare the order, but the order still turned up. I ordered cheese on my burger and didn't get any, the wrap came with onions and tomatoes in it (says it only comes with "mixed leaf salad" on the menu), and my partner's salad came with no dressing as ordered. The chips were alright, and they did leave the onion off of my burger as requested.

I'm 7 months pregnant. I was sent a wrap with raw chicken in it. When I called to complain, they told me it's not possible for the chicken to be raw. Clearly it is. Terrible customer service. Will be reporting them.

Absloutley delicious and good sized portions! We have ordered during the week and at weekends, (ashamed to say we are possible a regular 😂) and food has always arrived in good time, hot and well packaged. Highly recommend chargos for a takeout. We prefer it to Nandos!

I made an order through Ubereats, the delivery driver forgot to leave the sides, not the restaurant's fault. I called the restaurant after finding out and they delivered the remaining sides free of charge.

Placed my order at 6pm sharp for collection. They asked me to come pick it up in 25-30minutes. I arrived at 6:30pm and had to wait another 20 minutes for my food. Another customer came ordered a similar dish to mine and got his food and left before me (despite me ordering my food over the phone in advance) No explanation from the staff, I’ve ordered food for collection from them before and each time it seems to get later and later. I can appreciate that they are busy but why can’t they give a realistic collection time instead of making me come and wait. The food is good but their quality of service leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Good food quality. I have ate from here over 20 times. Their food quality is consistent. Service is OK. Staff are consistently tight on giving tissues and sauces which should not be the case considering the costs. Seating area is quite narrow so not suitable for groups unless doing take away. I would not recommend delivery service with them as that experience was poor, food was cold, no sauces and no tissues given. 3 stars overall

I've been here a couple of times over the past 10 months 'ish - The portions are really, really small. The first time I went here, after they changed over from Roosters to Chargos, our entire £40 + was replaced due to the seriously small portions they delivered. Butterfly chicken was one single breast etc. The newly delivered food was indeed far better, proper portions - as they should have been in the first place. I offered to give them the small portions back, they said no keep and eat them. Not expected from them but impressive none the less. The latest order (and last ever order) was even worse. I've attached an image. This is the image, of Beef in Pitta with extra Halloumi and a large Mushroom which has been DOUBLED in size, apparently. This cost £11.99, ordered tonight. I called to complain about the fact it was 5 small bits of beef, barely any mushroom and halloumi and spoke to the manager. He then proceeded to tell me that I like to complain. In fact he remembered me from the last time I complained about the portions, he remembered me. The food tastes good but the portions seem to be really really small, even when DOUBLED from the original size. In my opinion I've just been ripped off. I wouldn't advise wasting your money here.

Delicious food, ordered for the first time today - I understand it is slightly expensive, but the quality and freshness makes up for it! If you want quanitity and reduced quality than go Mcdonalds! But if you want fresh food and quality then I recommend Chargos! Will use them again.

Waited 1,5h for local food delivery. When called to ask wher is my order i got told " what do you expect food will not fly to you !" 😳 will never order from them again !!!
