Charcoal Grill in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

I never give a five-star review !Charcoal Grill is one of the CLEANEST and Efficient Kitchens I've seen. It is the only takeaway in the local area that has its hygiene certificates from the past several years on its doors! Non of the other premises within ½ mile can say the same thing! I've gotten various takeaway foods from there in the last 9 months. It has always been to a high standard, and staff are extremely helpful with allergy requests and a whole range of stuff! Someone was complaining in their reviews - er News Flash Donner Kebabs are reformed meat! if you want a true donner, ask for a lamb shish! To make a Lamb Shish Donner skewer costs up £200 and a lot higher!This is convienance takeaway food bought for less than a £10 Some chap went into great detail about how everything wasn't at Norfolk - Benoli and L'Hexagone Bistro Francais in Norwich standards! Wtf??? One of the best TAKEAWAYS in the area - end off. There has been blatant misinformation posted about this takeaway in the last 3 months. Chips are solid well over cooked and the nan bread just snapped and crumbled into pieces

I ordered food and found a condom in my burger don’t usually mind but this one was loaded full didn’t taste half my burger better of letting me know before hand

I got chicken and chips to go. The chicken was very dry it appeared to be old chicken. It was stringy and tasteless. The chips were ok.

My first time order and found it lovely food, delivered by this nice guy who used to repair my Electronic equipment. Will definitely order again.

Doner kebab - meat lacked flavour and didn't taste like it was pure lamb. Grey in colour and the consistency of reformed meat instead of properly made doner meat assembled on layers on top of each other. Salad was ok but it's a shame they don't serve lemon wedges with the kebab, only lemon juice out of a bottle. Also disappointed that the chilli sauce comes out of a pre-bought bottle and not made on the premises. Southern fried chicken had either been kept warm for too long or re-fried from earlier as it was dry and tough. No real flavour of herbs and spices on the coating, quite bland. Top tip to the owners, spend just a little bit more on your kebab meat and other ingredients to take the quality of your food to the next level. You may have some good reviews but how many more would you have if your food was just a bit nicer than your competitors in town? And how many more customers would return to your place for repeat business?

Where is the salad with this donner, no salad on his! Pink donner meat, tough nann bread! Really disappointed I can see why we stopped having this food. Thought maybe it would be ok this time

Never have complaints with these guys.... these days as I live further away so I only order pizza here nowadays but it's always tasty and fairly priced....extra points because I can pick it up when in town then drive 20 miles home and it's still hot!!

Ordered food for family of four literally all tge sides so half rge food and drinks sources were missing I called they came back and still there was stuff missing. Been eating here for 13 yrs never again

Excellent customer service and outstanding food

The very best in doners and wraps. They don't do the full grilled chicken or the tandoori chicken or the flame grilled stuff but their doner kebabs are awesome... Will highly recommend their preparations... They even do free delivery over a certain amount...

So many times we get delivered different orders not waht we was ordered. Really disappointed off this kebab shop. They never cared about complaints that is them fault and never excused. Shame!

Would not recommend, Donner meat is dry and vertically no taste, chicken Donner meat is not nice, don't even taste like chicken and the nan bread is dry as hell! Chips were okay. Waste of money!

I live in King's lynn for 13 years and for the last year I have Been going to charchol grills and for the last year every time I specify the order and its never what I ask. Never puts salt on my chips as I ask, there is never any sauce on my chips after they agree they will put it on . Always seem to disappoint

I would not reccomend this place as a chef I witnessed the main guy who runs the place put 4 raw meat burgers on the grill and then proceed to touch cooked meat without washing his hands this is a food hygiene violation do not reccomend

Clean place,tasty food but bit costly

The tandoori chicken wrap was well filled, the chilcken was succulent the salad was fresh, to be honest, it probably was the best bit of grub I've had from a fast food shop

Received completely different to what I ordered and the food is disgusting!

Ordered a chicken kebab tray and the chicken was dry and didn’t look like it had been cooked the same day. Salad and chips were wonderful. And my partner’ fried chicken and lamb doner was bloody amazing. Just need to improve on that chicken doner guys!

Rang up and ordered confirmed delivery time that came an went rang them up for them to tell me someone was prank calling so my order was cancelled no apologies and the owner/manager was even more rude than the staff constantly speaking over me Then continued to be late on the second delivery time

I ask for chicken wrap not Donna wrap when can not ever eat Donna so I call and then they was having a go at me for calling them

The food is nice and the delivrey orders my only issue with them was they got my order rong told me it was my fault then took a hour to send anothe lot out not happy

Have always ordered from here and always liked it but I ordered a kebab and my meat had green bits on it they tried telling me it was spices which it most definitely was not! Will not be ordering from here anymore!

Had the best Donna kebab wrap ever, was delivered with a smile, and was not greasy , the wrap was freshly baked you can tell all fresh ingridences x highly recommend this place x i'l defiantly order here again..😁

Ordered a take away meal, found this halal kebab takeaway. Meat was dry and not fresh. Nan was hard in places. Disappointment.

Horrible service ordered a chicjen kebab and chips for it to arrive with chicken thrown on top of chips. When phoning to complain the owner started to argue with me no apology no refund and no offer of changing my order to what i ordred! Wont be using them again!
