Another delicious lunch at Chapter 66. The food is stylish and delicious whether you have a simple bowl of soup or the fish cake. We are very lucky to have Chapter 66 in Ludlow. Why eat a horrible sandwich when you can have this standard of food for just a little more?

This café is part of Ludlow Castle, but you don’t need to pay an entry fee to the castle to visit the café. We enjoyed sitting outside in the garden with views of the castle, its grounds and the countryside beyond. The table service was very good. We had green tea and coffee and a very enjoyable visit.

This is our ‘go to’ place in Ludlow, so when we were invited to a birthday lunch hosted by a friend we were delighted. Damien and his staff certainly didn’t let us down! We had a wonderful four course lunch, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Everything was made on the premises and, as far as possible, locally sourced. The small private room was decorated for the occasion and, as always, the staff were helpful and friendly. Nothing was rushed and we felt very comfortable and relaxed. Thank you so much for making ours friend’s birthday such a memorable occasion. We’ll see you again very soon.

Amazing from start to finish. Staff friendly and so helpful food was truly amazing and to find it was all made on site. Was even better. The bride and all her friends had an amazing time. And the private room was a lovely touch. Thank you Pip and gang. It was lovely experience.

We popped in completely on a whim and I am glad we did.The food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. We ordered from the lunch menu , this was a good varied selection with Vegetarian options, the staff also made us aware of what wasn't available on the menu from the outset which was very helpful. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The coffee was also excellent. We will definitely be returning.

We decided to go in here as it was dog friendly inside and it was raining whereas many around it only allowed dogs if they sat outside. It is set out very differently and we were put in one of the little rooms with a window overlooking the castle - which was nice. The lady seeing people to their seats also seemed to be the one taking orders, delivering food and taking payments but not checking if things were ok during We ordered, I asked for a 1 shot latte to be told they only do 1 shots. This in reality meant she did not realise how you make a one shot latte so the coffee was strong - great if that is what you like. The menu was ok but seemed to be a lot of style over substance, something confirmed with the food. The pork looked colourful and nice but it was hardly a meal, more a starter and just made to look pretty. The mackerel pate was nice until I scraped the chutney off and found a hair. Something I could only raise when the lady came to take our plates. Shame as it was delicious but again a snack not a meal. To her credit she apologised and then took our two soft drinks off the bill. We wouldn't be back I'm afraid.

Have been coming here for over a year and their Panang curry is the best! Portion sizes are generous for price - we always have enough leftover for a good size meal the day following. Staff is friendly too
