Chappati Corner in Manchester

I visited Chappati Corner to indulge in their delectable lamb chops, and I must say, the service surpassed my expectations in terms of both speed and efficiency.

Nihari was very nice. Owner and staff is best

A compact little dine in cafe type on the corner on Chesham hill road. Very old school type, friendly staff, food is on point freshly cooked The taste is absolutely amazing. Sadly the reason I am giving 1 star is due to the fact the place was freezing cold with no heating system, the food started to get cold within minutes my hands were getting so cold that I could hardly feel them. The oil started to set upon the chicken as it was in the fridge, had to leave most of the food as it was no longer eatable.

Looked for somewhere new to get a indian takeaway from instead of usual place. Searched around and looked up reviews of local places and thought Chappati corner was worth giving a try. Pulled up outside and it was empty but only a small place and was just after a takeaway. Ordered the 3 curry and rice meal with a portion of chips and a nan and a couple of shish kebabs. Nothing wrong with the taste of anything and the curry's were fine. The downside was just that they lacked any sauce and no point in the nan at all honestly they were dry. Chips was what you would expect really and shish kebab ok. Wouldn't recommend to anyone on the basis of what I ate from there.

Very good taste of the food and recommended place for eating Desi food. tried nashta and lunch.

Got seekh kebabs and naan for the family. Unfortunately, the kebabs were pretty dry and missing a lot of flavour!

Lovely lunchtime feed. Had a lamb kharai and the flavour was fantastic. Loads of flavour in the sauce and the meat fell off the bone

I thought i would give Chappati Corner another go. Unfortunately same disappointment, This time tried the mix grill. Was really dry and tasteless. Lamb chops were so tough could not chew them. Even the accompanied sauce was with out any flavour. There are lots of better places nearby. The deco is run down but matches the food!

The nihari on a Sunday is to die for. I've been coming here for over 20 years now , long may if continue.

Don't be fooled by appearance of the store, this place is a diamond in the rough. Incredible, authentic, delicious food. Friendly, welcoming service. Prices are ridiculously low for the quality of the food 👌🏾

Food is foul atleast a day old re heated food definatly not fresh.. this place isnt what it once was

Every time we go to Manchester we eat at this place situated on the corner in cheetham hill. Fresh food every day. The taste, the flavour for me and my husband 10/10

Incredible Asian food. Flavours are so authentic as an Indian myself. Not a flashy place. I'd describe it as a great simple eat in takeaway place to try if looking for authentic delicious. Service is fast as food is pre prepared daily and if you visit I would reccomend asking what dishes are available today. And you will be shown the days menu available. Which will be several curries available with fresh chappti or white rice.

Who would have thought that this tiny corner shop would serve such delicious food - 5 stars, everything was delicious !

Chappati corner was as a child my favourite place and now as a adult still my favourite place. The vegetarian samosas are full of flavour. The 3 curries & rice hits the spot. Warm nan bread delicious. You are never left hungry. Highly recommend.

Absolute gem of a place for rice and 3. The naan they make tastes amazing, light but fluffy. Foods tasty as well. You won't be disappointed

Very good basic Asian fare, small but well prepared menu/takeaway well visited by Asian community and others alike.

Definitely recommend the nihari, lamb chops, samosa chaat and chicken tikka.

Good food but the attitude needs a bit of improvement.

seekh kebabs are the best and Nehari. they are very friendly. the owners are very nice. i go every Sunday just for nehari and nan, me and my family are never disappointed.

I go in at least once a week, i get the same thing 3 curries and 2 chapatis, one week its £7, one week its £8, but last time i went in he charged me a tenner??? Good food, but you can get ripped off!

Superb food, big portions and extremely cheap. Always a good atmosphere too and the best garlic naan I've ever tasted. Can't recommend highly enough, we eat there whenever we're back in Manchester.

Asked for three curry dish with rice only one dish served with rice when asked whether the two dishes they said I only asked for chicken. Charged me £7, Went to open it stone cold. Went back and got a full refund in fairnessp. I would not recommend to go here

I was visiting this area for business and I am so glad I chose to come here. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. I ordered way too much but it only come to £9 which was a bargain for what I got. I order seekh kebab, lamb (off the bone curry) and a meat samosa. Plus a drink and a naan bread. The kebabs were the best I have ever tasted. So much so I am going to revisit again this week for more. Out of so many curry houses to chose from and I have ate from a couple, I can honestly say this is one of the nicest.

2 seek kebab, 2 veg samosas, can of mango , 5 quid cant beat that and the food was great as well .

Curry is about average. Naan and Roti breads are below average.

Lovely food in a no frills cafe. You know its good with all the local families eating here. Had chicken curry and chapati with all the trimmings was spicy but delicious and I'm usually a korma eater but this was fabulous. Staff really friendly. Would definitely recommend

Visited after a trip to the Jewish Museum nearby on a Sunday afternoon. Staff and customers friendly. Great value and very tasty. The lamb curry had a good depth of flavours and the meat was tender. The bread was soft and delicious. I look forward to visiting again soon.

Very nice for a quick lunch time snack

First visited this place back in the 90’s Fresh dishes cooked daily. Not the best decor but the best amazing Desi food. Top marks.
