Quality of ingredients has become poor. Four of us all been ordering from here for years, since renovation food seems to have changed cheese is like plastic, pizza dough tastes stale, chilli sauce not brilliant anymore. Again this a review from four people who used to order here every week.

Was really disappointed with my garlic Nan bread didn’t taste any garlic it was very dry , stale like

ordered good for sons and both pizzas turned up with a rock hard base and burnt edges and the pizzas itself was tough.. didn't get the free garlic bread that was meant to come with order either. both boys ended up making other food so wasted 17 quid. disappointing 😞

Food never arrived, rang the takeaway after over an hour passed to be told it would be a further half an hour, I rang back after the half an hour to be told the shop is shut after they have no electric, I can’t review food we haven’t received or eaten

absolutely appalled with my pizza first they sent me the wrong pizza . which i was unable to eat . so they nocley sent me out another pizza. the next pizza was disgusting tasted off . and was made at its worst no effort . Will not be spending my money here again .

Been ordering from chaplins for years food was always lovely espically the pizzas.The food is still ok but they really need to learn the difference between a garlic bread with cheese and a cheese pizza.3 times in a row my order has been wrong.

Half the food was missing but yet there is nothing they can do. And the food what did come was freezing cold! Absolute joke

Lovely kebabs delivered quickly

Who ever cut my pizza butchered it wasn’t even cut like a pizza. It was cut into strips which was really really offputting. however, all the other pizzas were cut perfectly and food was nice.

The food was cold and we had to go and collect it we didn’t get are money back for a delivery so we rang them up and the were so rude and horrible I would not advise you to order from here they Accused us from shouting at them when we didn’t we was talking in are normal voice don’t order from there

Best pizza I ever had. Thin crust pizza

Pizza was really nice, and I can't say the same about the chips, though. They tasted as though they'd been thrown back in frier to reheat them, tasted a bit on the chewy side. I have had better from Chaplins.

Been using Chaplins regularly for many years, great quality food for very reasonable prices, always fresh and prompt delivery, can't fault these guys

Pizza with extra cheese didn't have extra cheese but was extra cooked the minced beef was burnt. But all was still edible. The calzone he loved and will get again and the kebab my son loved it

Food was stone cold pizza soggy wouldn’t mind said it was with driver not even 15 minutes after I ordered it and still cold . Missed out my free garlic bread aswell after me writing it in the notes.

I love chaplins, been buying food from there for 20yrs, but of late its just not up to standards. the pizza I just got was so greasy, I dont understand how it can get that greasy. it was a good run while it lasted I guess. rip. chaplins newton heath legend house

Ordered dbl ch burger chips onion rings & donner on naan with French fries. ETA 45- 60 mins. Arrived in 40! Food pipping hot as always. Fresh and plentiful. The kebab had lots of fresh salad and meat. Burger looked as expected. 10/10 Food & service 😋

Only problem was not getting a free bottle of pepsi when spending over £20, even though spent £30.

Lovely kebab as always we normally go direct to Chaplins but this time got it through Just Eat and was delivered early and was warm and delish 😋

Won't order again kebab meat was like rubber, naan bread looked manky, pizza doe was soggy. The can drinks was best out this order

Usually enjoy food from here but not on this occasion. Thick cuts of kebab meat that was dry and didn’t taste fresh.

My nan bread was hard couldn’t eat it and the meat wasn’t nice this time not sure why as I’ve had it before but it was rubbery and had to throw it all in the bin.

Chicken Wings were a bit dry and overcooked, pizza's are great as per usual.

Absolutely vile I ordered a few weeks ago and was ill put it down too having a bug so gave it another chance and have been up all night with food poising they gave me the wrong order at first so had to wait for my order again safe to say I will never eat from there again

Just won a new customer after this order. Firstly delivery guy was a friendly chap. Secondly the food was outstanding! The chips still had a crisp to them which is difficult to keep because of traveling. The kebabs were sublime because they tasted so fresh and exactly how you imagine a kebab to taste. Garlic bread was very moorish as were the garlic mushrooms and cheese. 10/10 thank you and well done guys.

The food was all over the shore nothing was packed correctly and we even had a burger missing

Food was hot, fries were excellent, delivery was prompt and the driver was polite. The only thing I can criticise is that there was too much cheese on the pizza and not enough tomato sauce. Personal choice though as I prefer less cheese.
