Didn't order food. Went for the quiz night, amazing fun quiz. Staff were friendly, I was unsure what drink as there was so much choice and they offered me a wooden bench of 1/3rds, I would definitely recommend this, got to try lots of different craft ales fantastic idea. Will definitely be heading back. I would recommend.

Old chapel turned into a bar and venue it was fairly busy but pleasant atmosphere staff were very pleasant and helpful. Bit hard to find if you don't know the area

One of our favourite places to drink. Family owned passion project, Russ & the family are brilliant hosts, lovely beer and great atmosphere. Have regular events on including curry nights, music, comedians etc... Highly recommend

Lovely venue. Inside an old church hall. Great company inside as well as the staff. Enjoyed the beer. Owner is mint. Beer selection is better than ever. They always have two sours on draft, which is great as you can't always find a sour.

Great hosts, best pint in Middlesbrough

Lovely place, very friendly and welcoming with a great selection of beers and ales. The retained features of the chapel makes this an interesting venue.

First time visit today for a quick Saturday afternoon pint at the end of a River Teed walk. Really quirky environment but it really works for. micropub. The Old Church theme is intact with pues to sit on and much of the religious paraphernalia still around the place. Good selection of beer and very friendly and chatty staff. I'll definitely come back here when I am looking to have a proper few drinks.

I remember going in there like tiny little hostages about 6 ill will of been getting took by our parents i can still sitting & waiting for it 2 end it always felt like it took hours it was busy at that time when people use 2 have street parties but its not the same now i always will remember that big back window u have had 2 change i remember the sun coming through & making it all red mainly & yellow plus the pues that we use 2 sit on u don't see many with the self for the bible still in place there must b 200 year Old So it was of the chain cheers. A gem of a venue with good quality beer and larger

The best real ale and craft beer pub in Middlesbrough by far. Good friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Food occurs at weekends and is not guaranteed to be on, but if it is, it is spot on, and always a vegetarian option. Highly recommended

Very nice little place. I was a wee bit worried at first as it looks at first like you are going to a boarded up church but round the back, this place is a little gem. Really good beers which are well maintained, friendly.folks at the bar and nice indoor and outdoor spaces. Live music on outside when we visited but at a nice volume. The three tasters in a little wooden seat was a lovely touch. Grand!

Lovely Pub in middlesbrough in an old church/chapel building. from what I understand they host a lot of events (open mics, fook night etc) and the people were very welcoming and chatty. a fantastic range of interesting drinks at a good price also.

Excellent little spot, very unique and fun set up. Super selection of beers. Really friendly staff. Definitely hope to come back.

Wonderful staff, great rotation and selection of drinks, and decent snacks. They have a big TV for sports and movie nights, as well as regular community events. Their beer garden is nice in the summer, shaded by the neighbouring steeple. Great spot!

Not a bad place people in there were pleasant enough about time they had a pub round there good place for the locals don't have to travel right into town.

Great place with very friendly staff. Nice to be able to meet with friends and have a nice quality chat. Plus they have a nice disability toilet which is clean and roomy with all the facilities you'd expect including a baby changing area.

Easily the best pub in Middlesbrough, great selection of ales, cider and lager. Friendly knowledgeable staff, great enviroment. Plus less than four hundred metres from my house. My best mate told me about it and I feel silly that living so close I didn't come in and visit The chapel till today. Definitely use this pub from now on.

What a hidden gem of a place! In an old chapel, stained glass windows, amazing looking bar! Real ale, keg, lager and cider on tap. Fabulous beer garden front and back. Function room. Parking. Great place, friendly staff and owner. Well worth a visit!

What a find! A warm welcome and a cold pint. The outside seating area was great and all facilities were excellent. Staff could not have done more to make our first visit memorable.

Great place, food is a hidden gem

Lovely selection of real ale and cider. Smashing staff and great venue. The staff went above and beyond to make a lovely occasion today for my son Alexander and daughter in law Beckah' birthday celebration. Can't praise them highly enough.

It's a proper beer fest. Great real ales selection and the usual shorts for the none beer folk. The building is warm and cosy and an excellent venue. Will be popping back now and again.
