ordered a chicken jalfrezi for the first time and whatever i got that was not it normally have a madras but last one was not a madras no heat what so ever so that is why i tried the jalfrezi that was the same no heat used to be a great takeaway now its terrible

Went in after couple pints . For a vegetable pakora ..opened bag looked like a reheat right away . .tasted it not that good second bit big long hair in my mouth ..geed me the boke .papt the rest in nearest bin ..would not recommend this place for any food but it's up to yourselves .to eat in ther I'll never go back .so go and try it hairs are free ..

Got 3 pizzas from this place and it was the worse pizzas ever, Indian sauce based rather than tomato based don’t give proper details of what’s on the pizza based will never use again and people should take note

Worst curry ever had pure rubbish

Everything that's been in the tandoor, is fried or off the grill or oven, that includes pizzas and breads, is great. The curries are getting better now. My favourite local takeaway.

I decided to try this local takeaway as a lock down treat, but could not have been more disappointed. I read the reviews, which on the whole seemed positive, and placed my order for a Tea Time special for two, with the Special curry option. This included, poppadoms with spicy onions, vegetable pakora, nan bread, rice and two curries from the special curry option. Great value I thought for £12.95, but I was mistaken! The onions were luminous pink and dried out, the pakora was obviously reheated and was chewy at bits and hard at others, the nan was cold and bland (I only live 2 minutes from the shop). But the real disappointment was the curry. I ordered a Balti and a Karahi. Both were very mushy, and the vegetables were clearly not fresh. I struggled to work out the difference between the two curries, with the exception that one was slightly darker than the other. There was no traditional Indian flavour and they tasted like they had been made some time previously and cooked and cooked until they were almost puréed! I contemplated returning the curry, but for £12.95, it wasn't worth the effort as I would not have expected any higher a standard in a replacement! Very disappointing, as this could have been my go to Indian, but will not return when clearly they considered it acceptable to sell me food of such poor quality. Perhaps reduce the offer or increase the price to ensure a better standard and return custom??!!

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. THIEVES. Took my money then never delivered the food. Never completed the order on foodhub so can't challenge it. They never told me they won't deliver it until I called them 2.5 hours later. They try to charge extra depending on your location which I'm pretty sure is against FoodHubs terms of service also. All-round scummy. Avoid avoid avoid!

Bought a shish naan kebab off the old guy at the counter.Was told I had to wait fifteen minutes and ended up waiting close to thirty.Got home opened it up and wasnt given a naan instead was given a pizza base.The type of ready made pizza base some places use with the perforations through it.The meat was tough and I mean tough.All this for nine pound odds in a pizza box smaller than ten inch.I'll never be back.

Have been on holiday and was so looking forward to having our usual curry from here. It didn't disappoint was superb. I have been eating Indian food for around 50yrs and this is one of the best

Chicken bhuna pizza, very tasty

Ordered lamb madras and fried rice,don't know what it was but certainly mot lamb possibly some sort of chicken will never be back ☹

Ordered two meals at 6pm. Got delivered at 19.55 despite on the app it saying "delivered at 1900". Delivery estimate said would be 18.50.

Food lovely as always, however delivery was requested for 6pm, restaurant amended this to 6.15pm and it arrived at 4.45. Just lucky there was someone home!

The food was gd but sent Vanilla Coke and it was Coke nobody like Vanilla Coke

Very small portion of the munchy compared to previous visits. Usually the box is bursting but this time it was rattling. No idea what has happened to the veggie pakora but it's now awful and doughy. Has been lovely for years but this change isn't good. Nan bread incredibly thin and much smaller than usual. Mushroom curry was lovely.

Food is actually quite good. Customer service absolutely sucks!!! Sent half the order, then told me I never asked for the missing items! Won't ever use them again!

Pizza was hoachin. Tasted chemically?? Donner meat really stale clearly been sitting out for a few hours. Chips soggy and depressing to look at. Geez my money back.

Absolutely shocking service. Ordered a pizza at 1815. Was meant to arrive at 1910, called them at 1940 was told it would arrive in 2 minutes. called again at 2000 and was told the driver had just left the shop. I was the spoken to very unprofessionally and very rudely. I will not be ordering from this place ever again. shocking service.

Incorrect order, awful service. Very rude. After being a customer for nearly 10 years with the previous owners I won't be going back after this horrible experience.

Food always nice however tonight I was not happy with the delivery. I placed an order for delivery at 19:30 and delivery confirmed as 19:40. I was happy with this as putting toddler to bed however the delivery arrived at 19:10, driver banging on the door , woke toddler. This is why I asked for a time.

Food arrived very very late and sadly the food had been left sitting so had turned rubbery and the naan was hard. We ordered from here before and the food was beautiful, that's why we used it again but unfortunately won't be returning after this disappointing meal.

Delivery took an hour and 15mins, food was cold, pizza was black, curry was bland and didn't accommodate for the note I left in comments section when ordering. Poor food from a takeaway that is normally good.

just had the most dissapointing experience. Having never tried this takeaway we ordered food at 6.45 when it had not arrived at 7.30 we called only to be told they were waiting on a driver. After another 20 mins called again to cancel the order only to be told not to phone again how rude no customer service skill in this establishment.

Unfortunately I can't give any rating for my food, as it never arrived despite the insistence of the man in the shop claiming every attempt was made to get it to me and a phone call was made to my mobile ( no call was made) and I didn't like the oh well tough attitude from him either. I only have stars just to submit this..

Donner Hoagie Wrap 4.00 + Separate Chilli Sauce 0.40 + No salad 0.00 + No Sauce 0.00 It came with sauce on it sadly, was pretty disappointed - still tasted okay.. but would've been more enjoyable without the coating of sauce on it - making the separate tub for dipping irrelevant :( :(

Wont be ordering from here again the food is good but delivery time the past 2 orders i have made have both been close to 2 hours, and toppings missing from pizza. Not good enough, again wont be ordering from here any time soon.

Shop is an absolute joke! ordered set meal for 2 and didn't receive what I should have to then be told when I phone that I am wrong? Also when I put notes in to ask for stuff to be left out as allergic my food arrives with the salad I specifically asked not to be there, WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN!

Absolutely shocking service, due to my order not been correct I called to let them know it was missing to be told I would need to wait 2 hours or get something with my next order which I wasn't going to do as I have been told that twice before. It took longer than stated to deliver the food

Ordered for 8 o'clock pizza arrived at 7.20 . Ordered 2 cans only received 1. Pizza also came to wrong address . Phoned them and received no apology . They just lost a good customer :(

I wouldn't know how the food quality is as I am still waiting on my food. 2 and a half hours later!! Phoned the restaurant and they were nothing but rude on the phone saying they hadn't received the order and told me to phone just eat as the problem was with them. THEN THEY HUNG UP ON ME. When I tried to phone back it was engaged!! Would never recommend in a million years plenty of other Indian restaurants DONOT USE THIS ONE!! It's a disgrace!!

Ordered a take away to be delivered at 19:45, the food arrived at 19:05. On calling the take away, the staff were very unhelpful and rude. Rather than apologising to me the staff at Chanda cottage informed me that they have to pay 14% commission to just eat which I don't think is in the least bit relevant. Terrible service.

Min order not met on set meal so had to order something else i didn't want. Apart from that the food was excellent

food is decent, but the delivery drivers are awful, 3 times I've ordered from them and 3 times they've gotten the order wrong, and on one occasion they didnt deliver the drink I ordered and there was a bite out of one of the poppadoms

I have used the Chandra dozens of times and the place never, ever disappoints. The food which is of excellent quality is vastly superior to upmarket Indian/Asian restaurants and is always ready on time for pick up. The staff who are efficient and polite are ready to offer assistance at all times. There is nothing to fault this place.
