Champion Chippy in Cheltenham

First time that we have used this Chippy and won’t be returning. Fish was definitely not fresh (saw them take it from the cabinet and obviously chucked it back in the fryer) fish was very dry and batter tasted weird. Beef burger was very pink in the middle and the curry sauce tasted funny. Majority of the food went in the bin

Ordered a small piece of fish and the batter was soft and soggy really contemplating not using them again.Time before missed things of our order all together

Staying in the area for the evening, chose to order here as it's the only chip shop that has vegan options. Ordered the vegan nuggets and chips and vegan battered sausage and chips. Delivery was quick and the delivery driver was very polite and friendly. Now the food... the chips were some of the best I've tasted, cooked perfectly and crispy on the outside. The nuggets and sausages were great too. Next time we're in the area we'll certainly order again. Thank you!

We like ours wrapped in paper how they should be but lately chips are sticking to the paper and not picking up a whole chip 🍟 sometimes mushy it’s ok if not sharing but we do……. Albeit still one of the best chippys in Cheltenham

My partner ordered this online as we’d had food before and it was nice and reasonably priced….how things have changed!!! Food was lukewarm and the portions sizes were poor for the amount spent on the meal. 12.99 for cod and chips,£4.99 for a pie …A PIE !!! All in all a meal for 3 people cost nearly £40 ….absolutely ridiculous. This was ordered whilst I was out and I can assure you if I’d have seen the price before hand I would have cancelled it.get that costs have gone up etc but this was extortionate

Delicious food and very friendly staff. Their chicken wraps are the bomb and very cheap for the quality and quantity you get. It's very clean inside and the staff is professional fast and very friendly. I don't usually give reviews to chip shops but this one is outstanding very much recommended.

Batter on the sausage not as crispy as last order. In fact texture was as though it had been reheated. Chips again not as crispy and freshly cooked as previous order. Batter on fish again not crispy - quite soft & claggy. Very disappointed in the quality of the food this time around so will be giving ordering from Champion Chippy a miss for a long while.

The chips were ok, but the batter was too thick, greasy, and underdone. The mushy peas were tasteless and watery.

I ordered food at arrive at 17.45 and it arrived at 18.05 ….. food not hot curry sauce all spilt over the box of chips….. ordered 3 pieces of fish only 2 arrived …. For the amount of money we paid for large chips was a disappointment as not many chips at all and not the best quality mainly scraps….another lessoned learned NEVER EVER AGAIN ……response on the phone re missing fish oh can you come and pick another one up ……NO THATS WHY WE DID A DELIVERY ……NO DRIVERS according to the restaurant…. Maybe they should take orders

Service was great, the food was fantastic.

Unfortunately the batter was undercooked, runny on the inside which ruined the piece of haddock
