Flop … Online it was showing Open. We went specially for tea after 30 min drive and It was closed.

It was a closing time but didn't serve what was on the menu. Then they started switching off lights so we just leave the place.

Avoid this place. We had asked for Karak chai and was served first cold as ice n then informing the lady that the chai is cold . She went back and reheat the cups in the microwave. Charging 5£ for a reheat chai. God knows since when she had made it first time. Simply disgusting and not even a single apology. They take people as stupids. Not recommend. Never again.

Only have a tea very bad taste, waste time and money, how they serve my extra sugar please check picture 😂

Tea was very watery. Almost the same as kettle tea. Main issue was the cheap cups that were used. Tea started leaking everywhere in the car!!! 1/10

Great food, service was friendly Definitely could taste how fresh the food was- I had halwa channa puri- 3 puris so a good portion size. My friends had the Desi breakfasts- again generous sizes. Well worth a visit and I definitely plan to return!

After watching a tiktok for chai wali hyping up their desi breakfasts we finally decided to try it out. First impressions were good, a lovely little shop with nice decor. We ordered the desi breakfast and keema chips. Firstly we were told that the masala beans wouldnt be ready on time so that was disappointing as it was past 12 o clock, secondly the chai was very disappointing as it had a weird taste to it somewhat resembled the powdered karak chai taste. Keema chips were just smothered in sauces so you couldnt taste anything properly. The only thing that was nice where the freshly made paratha. Overall not impressesd I will not be going there again and do not recommend it.

Charged me £3.50 for small for a cup of *instant* coffee that for some reason took around 10 minutes to make. I feel like I've been mugged.

Ordered diffetent things from here a few few times, never been disappointed. Recently ordered the karak chai for a party which was very well received.

For a place that's literally got Chai in their name the chai was terrible, I NEVER leave reviews but Id honestly prefer the chai from pret, which is also terrible and bottom tier chai. Was so disappointed as I LOVE chai and will try it whenever I see it on a menu. Chaiwali chai tastes like chemicals and heaps of sugar, very similar to some rubbish instant chai you can buy from supermarkets. Went with my partner who agrees with these takes, we had some desserts also and honestly they were just average. So disappointed as was hyped for a decent chai nearby I could go to regularly. It's just another one of those spots with Instagram-ble decor but poor quality overall.

It was a brilliant experience food was outstanding staff was so sweet very clean and tidy. Recommend the shami burger and matka chai. Went with my 3kids and they all loves it. Defo people need to try this place .

My favourite brunch spot shoutout to the staff who are always ever so helpful and attentive food is always on point and cooked to perfection , make sure you give these guys a try I keep on coming back 👍🏽

The food is great, love it because everything is fresh not many places nowadays serve 100% fresh food to save time and money. My fav is the desi breakfast and the halwa puri they're available all day which is amazing 😍 plus it's reassuring to know that staff are very polite and happy to deal with any queries 😊

We ordered matka chai , 4£ per cup , they didn’t even give matka for take out , just regular cups . And chai was not good at all. Won’t recommend to waste money on matka chaey . Haven’t tried any other thing yet, so can’t say much about that

Visited today with 3 of my friends and their young children. Unfortunately the place is understaffed, and I think that’s the main reason for the delay, a cashier and a single cook for a Sunday morning is just not enough. Waiting nearly an hour for snack type food is not acceptable. The kids had cheese toasties which don’t take more than 10mins to prepare. I ordered a Chapli Kebab toastie. The kebab was hot but bread had clearly been toasted some time ago. The kebab itself I thought was over salted. The cook did ask us if the food was ok, but honestly I didn’t want to get into an argument and I didn’t want to wait for it to be re-prepared. A little less defensiveness and a little more acceptance of comments could really help the place thrive. At the end of the day you’re charging people for goods and a service and it’s important you meet their expectations. For an owner to publicly comment don’t come back we don’t want people like you or you were big people is frankly unacceptable and indicative of the attitude to business and customers. I would have given this place another chance without reviewing, but after seeing my friend get berated for being honest, I won’t be back.

Disappointed. 3 main points - the food took 45 minutes to come out, without any apology for delay, or explanation offered. The food was definitely not worth the wait, as the taste was honestly below average. We had loaded keema fries and the masala fish and chips. The seating is definitely unsuitable for a group larger than 4. Not worth the price. Cannot recommend to anyone. Avoid

Terribly slow service considering it was quiet inside. Food coming out at different times. Some people had nearly finished before others had even started. Had to ask for sugar 3 times for my tea. Not a good experience at all.

Very disappointing. I do t like the decor but that is personal taste. The main issue is the service which is terrible. The single staff member was nice enough but she single handed took order and brought each item to the table which meant the first dish came out 20 minutes at least before the last one. It also doesn't help that a lot of the food clearly isn't made on site and has to be ordered and delivered from somehwere else, only to then be plated up at this place. Given this is part of a chain you can't even put this down to teething problems.

Not sure where to start to give a shout-out to this wonderful place for a warm and enchanting place. The ambience , the food ,the staff all together were really awesome. Staff PRIYA from STOCKPORT road branch is really kind and made us feel like a home her customer service is outstanding.I loved chai , coffee , bun omelette, punjabi samosas , masala fries , Gajjar ka halwa and the cakes.definitely will turn back as I do since 2021. Highly recommended for all the chai lovers and looking an amazing place.

The variety of karak chais to choose from is impressive, satisfying every tea lover's craving. The cake counter is a treat for the eyes, with fresh options like the baklava box and brownie bite box that are simply irresistible. It's a pleasant surprise to find a range of English hot drinks on offer as well. The presentation of the food is top-notch, and I appreciate the use of proper plates and cutlery. I highly recommend trying their karak chai, which was exceptional, even for a picky tea drinker like myself. The only small downside is the plastic lids, as I'd prefer more environmentally friendly options. Nevertheless, I'll definitely be returning to Chai Wali for their amazing offerings.

Visited for the first time as my daughter wanted to try the chocolate orange milkshake. Asked if they had cookies and cream which they didnt but the lady said she could do something similar with oreo cookies. Great service and both ice cream and milk shake were good. Will visit again to try the rest of menu

Only thing that was decent was halwa puri. Desi breakfast/ tea/ milk cake etc all ended up in the bin....not impressed.

Five stars for chai wali chorlton! Staff are great, milk cakes were the best I’ve ever had and tea was nice and fresh reminding me of back home. Thank you !

This is an amazing dine-in and take out place. I had a full english and desi breakfast and it was delicious and freshly made. The waiters and waitresses were commited to great service and were very friendly. The atmosphere was awesome and i really like it that you guys have a very peaceful and asthetic style. Most importantly, every food and drink on you menu tasted great!

i went to visit and didnt know what to get but then i met this very freindly staff called saibah and recommended this desi breakfast with pink tea when i took a sip my mouth was full of flavours and the food was very fresh and delicous highly recommend this place it has a lot of room so you can bring your family overall very very satisfied.

Delicious food for a good price ! I tried the shami burger and the omelette and paratha and both were very tasty . I'm very critical when it comes to seasoning but I couldn't fault these guys so that's saying something haha Defo recommend coming here The staff were also very friendly and helpful :)

Just visited and I have to say it was absolutely amazing. The service was super friendly and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The halwa Puri breakfast was superb and such a generous portion. The sausages that came with the full English were super tasty, so much so that I had to order extra. Would highly recommend!
