Ordered three items and they sent the whole order wrong, with the correct receipt. I mean how stupid one has to be to not get a couple things right. DO NOT ORDER

We had tea and some snacks in this restaurant. The tea was good, rest everything was below average. The person taking the order did not even knew the name of the dish. Overall, a very average place.

I used Chaiiwala Holborn to provide karak chai and samosas to follow a university event this week. It was a pleasure interacting with Mansour and Mustafa who were very helpful and responsive and knew exactly what to recommend for an event like mine, and gave me a generous discount. Everything was prepared fresh to order and on time for me to collect on the day. The samosas were delicious and chai exactly the rocket fuel needed after an hour of intense academic discussion. Everybody enjoyed them and I would thoroughly recommend!

Best Chai outside India, outside someone's home. Apparently they cook Karak chai for an hour in store. Shout out to Mansoor for great service.

Horrendous service the two times I came here I had to wait over 30 minutes just for 2 wraps. Food is decent but absolutely horrific service.

I popped in here for a tea on 24 January. Sadly I'd had a difficult afternoon and was feeling irritable. Then the assistant took my money without a word. This annoyed me and I gave him a note to let him know. To my surprise, he returned the note as I was drinking my tea, with a message saying he was sorry about the way I felt. He also gave me a free slice of Raffaello cake. That was a very nice surprise. However, I had to return the cake and explain that I'm pre-diabetic but I did thank him for being so thoughtful. That was a case where "all's well that ends well."

Very disappointing food. I ordered a Bombay sandwich, when it came to the table, the total size was of two playing cards put together, and it cost £4.50. Such an extremely small portion. The taste was not spicy but bland and hardly anything in it. My friend had the loaded chips with chicken tikka and the sauce over the chips was sweet and tangy instead of being spicy, was awful !!! The karak chai I thought might be the only winner, but no it was too creamy and heavy not what tea is supposed to be taste like. Will never go back there not even if I feel like some food to remind me of my culture.

Came recently with friends after learning that a new branch had opened up in Holborn. I've been to another Chaiiwala branch a few years ago, so it has been a while since I've visited. The atmosphere is great - nice seating area and great music choices! The last time I went to Chaiiwala, they had a small menu - now, there's a much larger menu and all can be ordered through an app, which is handy! All food and drink is at a very reasonable price, didnt take long to arrive, and tasted great! Personal highlights were the karak chai (a must-have if you visit!) and the coffee cake (be warned, it's a huge portion!). There was one issue with our group order, but the staff were really kind and resolved it for us quickly. Overall, had a fantastic experience, and very glad that I came back to Chaiiwala again after all this time. Highly recommend a visit if you haven't tried Chaiiwala before- I'll definitely be returning soon!

It's a take-away. The food is good, the prices lower than average, the reliability, in terms of things being ready when they said, has also been good. But the consistently unpleasant reception by the ...owner? got to be too much for me, and I will not return anytime soon.

If you are carving for some spice this is quite close to the warren street and tottenham court road stations

We were surprised when we entered the foyer and were directed through a traditional bar to the dining area, I guess previously where buffet breakfasts were served. All the staff very pleasant and helpful. Meal was good (we had a Groupon) although the samosa starter could have been hotter. Lamb Rogan and Butter Chicken very tasty. Poppadoms were strange, 1/2 a proper one then tiny crisp like ones. Rather strange tat they also did take away.

Lovely food, very filling and tasty and at a competitive price for the area. Brilliant customer service too.
