Chadsmoor fishbar in Cannock Chase

I had a pathetic experience with this restaurant as I called them and asked them to speak with the manager and the staff member rudely replied with 'no, you can't' and hung up. You cannot run a restaurant successfully with this attitude by the staff members.

Food was not great most ended up in bin. Had a cheek to charge a pound for instant gravy even though it's a special everywhere else you go its include it. Items on menu not sold anymore. Staff slow and unfriendly. 6 pound for pie chips water gravy. Cannot even bother to wrap them properly so they stay warm. Pye Green Tower the food hot tasty and everything is included in the price.

AVOID!!! AVOID!!! AVOID!!! Purchased some food from here a while back, donner meat & chips, got it home and didn’t quite taste right but due to having a cold and not having eaten all day I put it down to my taste buds not being quite right although within 30 mins of eating it was quite apparent that I had food poisoning uncontrollable from both ends for want of a better phrase. 4 days before I could eat or drink again and manage to keep it down, after tests done by my GP it was in fact confirmed I had food poisoning, my wife actually approached the manager who had no care in the world and offered a future purchase at half price (like we’re going to have any food from there again) Since my bad experience I know of 2 others who have also had food poisoning from there. The food hygiene history tells you all you need to know. The only recommendations for this place is to avoid at all costs. The place needs shutting down and never allowed to open again. 0/10

Had mixed meat and chips and beef and onion pie special. Pie was cold and the donner meat is the cheapest you can buy with no flavour. Reviewed hundreds of kebab houses and chip shops and tbf.....this ain't the best, sorry. Plus staff need to smile more rather than just take your money and run. Its Ok if your drunk I suppose but I'd still find somewhere else. Just replying back to owners comment, I'm not sad just honest, I can't help it if your food is rubbish and your service is shocking. The idea of reviews is to warn people of rubbish food if they are new to the area, fancy a change or so they don't waste there money. Sorry you took offence to your own doing of poor quality. And maybe I'll be drunk next time but I'd still be using somewhere else lol

Visiting a friend in cannock... food was great, very fresh, and incredibly tasty. Price was reasonable. The only fault with the place was the speed of service.. it was slow very slow like a 🐌

Nice friendly staff...our food was okay but a little disappointing. Some of the chips were of decent size but others were really small just crispy with no potatoe inside. Curry sauce very watery.

Never again charged me god knows how much for fish and chips the chips (well scratchings) were leftover scraps had to wait ages and just not a nice experience that’s for sure as for customer service well….. ☹️

Used to be a good chip shop years ago but encountered really bad service this week. Half way through ordering the guy walked away to take the order off someone he knew. Stood there aghast I had the opportunity to look at the food being served & decided that the greasy looking food coupled with the appalling service didn't deserve my custom so I walked out. Won't be going back.

Awful customer service doesn’t cost anything for manners complete silence in shop awaiting long service for very little on an order rip you off make sure your adding up the total as they just charge you randomly high prices then when disputed just get awful attitude wouldn’t recommend this shop at all

Made to wait 25 minutes while serving other people that he knows that walked in after me before rudely giving me my order. Food wasn't amazing but it was alright, I wouldn't go there again purely based on the customer service

Had 3 prices of chicken & chips yesterday & its was fabulous lovely crispy skin on the chicken cooked very well. Plenty of stock in also. Chips were really nice as well. Fairly priced Great quality customer service from the lady that was on the counter thank you! As they've only got family working due to covid there doing an absolute fantastic Job thank you for providing great food & service 5* all day long from me.

I love pizza. I love Dominos and Pizza Hut ... but this is definitely the best pizza! And what a great price!!!

Tasted stale, like the oil needed changing, had a battered sausage, had to give it a miss,as i couldn't bite into it, nasty food.The lady behind the counter was just rude,looking people up and down,no customer service at all. 1st and last time of going in this place

There has been some commotion of late at this place, just last week á man was found collapsed outside. When people enquired of him they were told "oh him, he's had his chips" Also there was a fight were 2 fish got battered. Joking aside it's a very nice place actually and the foods good

Went in at 7:15 to get some food to find out the chips were warmed up and vile! Kebab meat wasn’t fresh it was all curled up plus had wrong sauce put on! Used this chip shop a few times never had a problem but tonight is just shocking!!

They provided great value for money and the staff was very friendly. Additionally, the food was delicious (the Pizza especially) and I would definitely recommend Chadsmoor to others.

The Donna meat is really watery and has no flavour and the salad is brown and taste like rubber and chips are soggy would not recermened this yo any one or taking my friends there

Worst fish n chips i have had batter was very soggy cant call it batter fish was tasteless will not be using again. You get what you pay for rubbish food for 4.99 .

Food is ok but nothing to rave about, some things are very overpriced...£2.49 for a burger on a bun doesn't even include chips...Rob dogs!
