ChaBa ChaBa in Liverpool

Been a takeaway fan for years but the dining in experience takes it to another level. Superb food, good wine and attentive service mean a great night out.

Lovely food starter came very quick but had to wait for mains as kitchen was busy.I really enjoyed the king prawn green curry when it eventually came out combo starter was very nice too.

Chaba Chaba is the best Thai restaurant in Liverpool, I can say this as I have tried them all....Chilli banana was my fave but no longer with us, so this is my new No1. Staff are fantastic and predominantly Thai, even the delivery guy is super friendly and most importantly the food is excellent and tastes authentically Thai. Don't waste your time trying others this is the One.

This is a must if you like Thai food or if you're wandering about Allerton Road trying to pick a restaurant. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend eating inside or collecting a takeaway. It's quite simply the best and has been for many years. As a bonus, the staff are absolutely lovely.

Been about 18 months since we’ve had a takeaway from here ! Forgotten how good they are . Saturday night take away - impressed how they answered phone with hello and my name - their system also recalls addresses and saves lots of phone faff ! 45 mins we were told it would be - came in just over half an hour . Food lovely and hot ! The world’s best Thai prawn crackers ! Starters excellent ( thick , well portioned prawn toast and delightful tempura )! Great variety of mains - well portioned ( noodles , curry and stir fry )! Lovely flavours . Thank you

We visited on a Sunday night and had a great time at ChaBa ChaBa. The food was very reasonably priced, well portioned and most importantly delicious! We’ve had a takeaway from here before, but never dined in, until now and we’ll certainly be returning. Genuinely can’t think of a better Thai meal that I’ve had…….superb!!

I'm not joking, this is an ABSOLUTE GEM of a Thai Restaurant in Liverpool. For me it is the BEST in Liverpool. We ordered a few meals and all tasted amazing. My wife is Asian and we also travel in Asia quite often so we can tell. Also, the prices are extremely reasonable! If you like Thai food, you will certainly not be disappointed here.

Most authentic Thai food in Liverpool. Spicy level as requested. Recommended spicy salad and curry (red and green), they are a must to order! Great atmosphere and fantastic service. Except the portion which is relatively too small. But overall, highly recommended if you crave for authentic Thai food, it’s pretty similar to what you can have in Thailand.

Eaten here often. I like spicy food and they will make any dish more spicy to suit your taste. The food is fabulous and the staff lovely and attentive.

I absolutely love this restaurant! Really tasty Thai food (the best I've had in Liverpool so far) and it's delicious whether eating in or for takeaway. The duck pad Thai was lovely and packed full of duck and the veggie sharing starter was great (especially the sweetcorn fritters). Really great value for money and friendly staff as well!

We ordered a takeaway, if we had eaten in I would have returned some of the food. Thai fish cakes, had a weird texture a bit like tofu no evidence of actual fish. They were not freshly made, more like the bought in frozen type. Pad Thai, noodles were stodgy and were clumped together..worst I have ever had, however the sauce provided in a little pot was delicious. Mussels were excellent, sauce was vey nice and green curry was good but very sweet.

I come here every week and for good reason. The staff are lovely, the food is delicious and excellent value and the service cannot be faulted. The atmosphere is always upbeat and Lee, Richard and the team go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

I may be biased but this is the finest Thai restaurant which perfectly does take out :) I'm there twice a month at least 👌

Haven’t been for a while, as last time it seemed to have slipped. tonight was exceptional the food the service was all spot on. A party of four we all enjoyed our food,good ambience, service great without being intrusive, lovely staff.

Good authentic Thai restaurant good menu

I reckon this restaurant has been open about 15 years - I couldn't count the number of times I've walked past it but somehow never got round to eating here. When friends suggested it as a venue for a pre Christmas meal, I was keen to try somewhere new and was very happy that we did. Food was outstanding - we had a sharing platter and then 4 different curry dishes - I tasted them all and couldn't pick a favourite, they were all so nice. Value for money was excellent, and we will definitely be back.

This is my go to place for a takeaway, I've never had a bad meal here. The staff are lovely but the food is incredible, the green, red and yellow currys are all excellent. The pad thai is delicious. If you enjoy starters then the chicken satay is fabulous.

This restaurant is so good overall. The meal was delicious and the service was very quick. Atmosphere was good as well. 10/10 for me.

We first got our sharing platter for 2, it was basic fried, quick frozen food which was ok! It was straight away followed with our mains (pad thai) & (sweet and sour chicken) with fried rice which was just ok! Our server was good and he was very polite and attentive ( sorry i didn’t get his name) I would come back maybe in the future but would hope for better produce! £55 for a sharing platter, 2 mains and 2 alcoholic drinks wasn’t bad atall! just wish for better ingredients 🙏

Just had a beautiful meal in Chaba Chaba with my wife. We started off with the Chaba Chaba platter between us. For main we had the yellow curry and the coconut rice. It was beautiful as usual. Will be back soon and will try something different from the menu.

Just happened to be in the south of Liverpool so booked a table. Beautifully cooked food. A menu for all tastes Excellent service and friendly staff. If you want the taste of Thailand give it a go.

Was really dissapointed, maybe we ordered the wrong things but my chicken was dry and my soup greasy. Place was full and everyone else seemed to be enjoying their meals, so maybe it was just me...

I and my friends gone to eat Thai foods at Chaba Chaba. I order foods a lot but I didn't take pictures all my foods. My foods very nice and very delicious every dishes. We went here with the family for the first time amd found it such a lovely restaurant. Greeted with big smiles and soo accommodating. Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Fantastic value for money. We be making this our go to Thai restaurant in future.

We visited Allerton Rd on a Saturday night, group of 4 friends on a catch up. We have never been before so thought would give ChaBa ChaBa a go, we weren’t disappointed. Food was really good, some of dishes had a nice kick to them....

Wow!!!! Absolutely brilliant place. 5 of us went, 2 vegetarians who had the excellent veggie options which had packed loads of flavour into the Tofu. 2 others went for the banana leaf wrapped sea bass. I had tge duck curry, which balanced tge sweetness of the fruit in it with heat of the chilli brilliantly. Staff are attentive and helpful. If you want a criticism, then I would suggest that they need some soft furnishings to help absorb the sound as it was quite hard to hear each other speak with all the other tables booked and the music playing, but apart from that go here you won't be disappointed

Delicious, delicately flavoured food, beautifully presented and with a smile are the hallmarks of this popular local eatery. Chicken soup was served piping hot and the stir fry that followed was excellent and the portion generous. Service is excellent.

One of the loveliest restaurants for Thai food I've ever had! The food is absolutely gorgeous, generous portions and so tasty. Phad thai noodles with beef and chicken satay skewers are two of my favourite dishes on the menu. ALL the staff are AMAZING, so friendly, courteous and attentive, nothing is too much trouble. Simply amazing food and atentive staff.

My first visit to ChaBa ChaBa, had a lovely meal, with plenty of vegan options. Spring rolls fresh and tasty. Overall great value for money and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Will definitely go back!

Another takeaway from here this time Valentine’s Night 2020. Myself and my partner decided to have night in rather than a night in so decided to order from one of our favourites restaurants, prawn toast still the best and Thai curries amazing! Staff are lovely.

Best Thai place in Liverpool by a long way

I go here for a masaman curry almost every weekend. If your into currys, this place makes a lovely curry. Everyone is friendly and they really make an effort to get to know their customers. Go and support your local restaurant!! You will not be disappointed

The quality never drops below brilliant.

Been here a few times but not for a while. Didn't want to make a stir as it was my daughter's birthday. The service was inexperienced. Water was brought to the table in glasses straight from the tap, warm and no ice with an extra jug just the same. Nobody was asked to taste the wine. The starters were OK. Two of us had "crying tiger" for our main course which is a steak dish with a dipping sauce. The dipping sauce that was bought to the table was the same dish that i had had to go with my starter as was only half full. The steak was not at all seasoned. I had asked for mine to be medium rare. The steak had I presume had just been taken out of the fridge as was cold in the middle. My noodles were bland and overcooked. These are uncertain times for restaurants leading up to our second lockdown but this should not be an excuse for poor food and service
