Lovely little community cafe. I only got a portion of chips and a cup of tea, but they were delicious.

I love this wee Café, its a great place to meet mum friends, have cake and coffee, or Brunch. The soups are all made fresh and are to die for, just so good! The special change week to week but they have a staple menu and its all perfect comfort food. My favourite is the BLT or Baked Potato with coleslaw its soooo tasty. They have a baby and toddler café every Wed and Fri and its great for the kids to run about and to me to catch up with other mums. I ordered a whole cheesecake and an afternoon tea box from them before and they were superb.

Centre Perk café located inside the Community Centre in Newmains. All freshly cooked, specials daily. The BEST lentil soup I've ever had and creamy homemade coleslaw with my toastie was incredible. Great, service, friendly staff and generous portions served with a smile and incredibly cheap price tags! Do yourself a favour and pop in when you're out and about in North Lan, you won't be disappointed. I was in with work colleagues, having a meeting there was a table with a couple of young Mums and their kids, two older ladies having mouth watering cream scones and two blokes with laptops working away drinking lattes. There is something for everyone. Superb.

Looking forward to my order but was stone cold on delivery. Obviously been sitting in the cafe for ages before delivery as I’m only a short distance away. Quality wasn’t good either so probably last I’ll order from here

Had a lovely day at WMF, the staff are always so lovely, and in particular the professional and friendly Emily( Titanic Rose) as she was her double! We started with the pate, which I so believe is the best and have raved about it for years, no one makes pate like Dalziel and have kept to the same recipe, no messing with a winner. 🏆 I followed with the prawn tacos, huge prawns, but could have had a little more flavour, perhaps a wee zingy dressing on the side with lime, garlic and chives. My bestie had the haggis bonbons, which she said were tasty. We had an extremely good value for money bottle of Pinot and Chardonnay. It’s always a good day there as it’s our local, nice vibe. Overall very pleased with our visit and all the staff could not do enough for us with extra ice, water and fresh wine glasses. Emily was a saint with all our fussy demands. Thanks WMF see you soon! 🌟
