When you walk into this store you really do appreciate how many different beers are brewed in the northeast region of England. There is an amazing selection of beers and there is nothing better than being able to enjoy a good local brew on a long train journey. Prices are varied but value for money especially considering the quality and range of beers sold. Also excellent for any last-minute Christmas shopping you need to do before boarding the train home!

This is an Aladdin’s cave of amazing beers. The daughter and father team who run this place have stocked it floor to ceiling (nearly) with a terrific selection of IPAs, stouts, sours, pilsners, ales and more, with a selection of spirits too. Cancel your Beer52 subscription and come here instead!

CentrALE in Central train station is a great bottle-shop that offers a well priced range of beers and merchandise. Located inside the train station'CentrAle is a great place to go if you need a couple of beers for your journey and if you need any merchandise they have these as well. We were returning to Liverpool after a city break to Newcastle and before we got the train back we went in here. When here we purchased a few beers and also a tumbler glass for £05.00 which was very cheap as when we visited Whitley Bay this same tumbler glass was £08.00. This is a great bottle-shop and easy to find as its in the train station. (This is my first review of CentrALE). Opening Hours. Monday-Friday-11.00-20.00. Saturday-09.00-19.00. Sunday-11.00-17.00. Nearest Bus Stop. Central train station bus stop. Nearest Metro Stop. Central train station metro stop. Nearest Train Station. Central train station.

I took a group of advanced motorcyclists to cafe 19 for breakfast. We were shown where to park when we arrived and greeted in an extremely warm and welcoming way. Food service was prompt and enjoyed by all of my colleagues. Thoroughly recommend this establishment .

I saw Google had counted my 5 stars for the canny goat and I didn't think that was fair as its not representative of the current business. Still a lovely shop, lovely staff, drinks and food were just okay.

Great staff, very friendly. Quick service and amazing food. Good sized portions for very little money. We paid £14 for 2x lattes, a bacon sausage and egg roll and a full English. Definitely recommend
