Hicimos una corta visita pre-teatro un miércoles por la noche, estaba lleno, con un ambiente animado, informal y amable. La comida se veía bien, el servicio atento y muy buena selección de vinos. DJ los viernes y sábados. Almuerzan un sábado.

We discovered Cecilia's Wine House by chance when looking for somewhere for a drink ahead of a matinée performance of Standing at the Sky's Edge. This wine bar was perfect, we chose two different reds and shared a cheese board. We were so impressed we booked a table to return there after the show when we chose two white wines! I loved the Gavi in particular! We'll definitely be back. Booking recommended.

Fab location before going to the theatre on Dury Lane. Nice atmosphere and great staff. Charcuterie board was probably the best ever had! All of the meats were delicious and plenty of bread. Wine was reasonably priced for London. Was not too busy for a Saturday brunch. Will definitely come back when in London for the theatre again.

Called in after a day shopping location good .Good selection of wines etc by the glass .Two glasses of sauvignon £21 cheese platter to share £15.50. Only let down the service which was disappointing wine just plunked on the table poor explanation of cheeses, little attention so service charge not paid which is not the norm for me but this was a special time away

What a find off Covent Garden. Great array of wines to select from and amazing and complementary food. Would recommend this find if in town and looking for an off the beaten track wine bar with great wines.

We had a fabulous evening at Cecilia’s, welcomed warmly despite rolling up late into the evening & with no reservation. It’s a sweet little spot, bigger than it looks from the frontage, cosy & characterful inside. Staff were superb, providing helpful, friendly speedy service. The wine list is extensive & varied, & the grazing boards tasty, well presented & generously proportioned. On our visit there was a DJ which added further atmosphere & thankfully playing at a volume suited to conversing over a meal.

Fancied trying a more speciality tea experience than those on offer in the supermarket, so did some research and determined that Postcard Teas were the solution to unremarkable brews. Ordered up two bags of loose tea, but the results were as insipid as watching magnolia paint dry. Despite attempting several different brewing methods to get these leaves to sing, each cup was a tuneless, flat mess. Gave up after a week and binned the lot.
