Beautifully vibrant restaurant. Food was delicious. I really enjoyed this evening. Thank you so much to all the staff. Nothing was too much

Delicious salmon scrambled egg on gluten free toast! Very tasty prosciutto ham and eggs with truffle on toast. An experienced gentleman took our orders patiently and made sure the gluten free meal was properly ordered. Best breakfast we have had in London. Beautiful decor and environment as well. Will be there again.

Todo nos gustó! El Restaurante tenía muy bien ambiente. Al pasar por ahí y ver a la gente haciendo fila para entrar nos hizo pensar que era un lugar popular. Tuvimos suerte y logramos entrar sin reservación luego de una corta espera. Luego de las entradas, que estaban deliciosas la comida tardó muchísimo en llegar, esa es la razón de no darle un 5. Pero estuvo muy rica! Tardaron tanto que nos regalaron el Postre: un tiramisú espectacular. Valió la Pena la espera. Pero si hubiera ido con más hambre seguro hubiera reclamado.

Cerchiamo sempre questa catena nel mondo, sinonimo di vera cucina Italiana. Sempre soddisfatti. La burrata è un must e la qualità dei prodotti sempre alitissima, prezzi leggermente più alti della media ma ne vale la pena. Abbiamo preso due burrata, un risotto e i cannelloni tutto buonissimo e per finire lo chef sapendo che fosse il nostro anniversario ci ha omaggiati con un pensiero “dolce”.

What a terrible decline for this once great place. Don’t waste your time or money. We visited Cecconis today for our anniversary as we came here 5 years ago for our first date. Since it’s been franchised out this is just a shell of what it used to be. As many others have said - shockingly rude front of house, long waits for service and orders. Food sitting long on the pass while staff ignored or didn’t care - we saw a lot of meals sent back for being cold or poorly cooked. We actually had to request the Veal Milanese redone twice as first time it was cooked in butter not oil as requested, second one was raw with blood on the plate. They returned the same blood stained plate with the same piece of veal that they had clearly just heated up. Disgusting. We complained and they removed it from the bill however we then had to repeatedly chase up our desserts and coffees as the waiter “forgot” We won’t be going again and we were once stalwart regulars.

Apalling attitude from the reception upon arrival, who do they think they are... !! I have been dining here for years... food always consistent.. but sadly my last experience was disappointing... The reception staff is the main issue.... Just plain rude... !!

We were a group of four (us and a client and her husband) out for a pre-theatre dinner. The food we had was delicious. The service needs improvement as it was below the standard that you would expect at this price. I think that it can be best summarised as lacking attention to detail and precision. As one example: whilst you can expect the occasional drop to spill when water/wine is poured, this really should not happen to every guest at the table and more than once too. Slightly embarrassing for me as the host who had selected this restaurant. Also trying to attract the attention of our waiter was a challenge as they were often away from the section (eventually I asked one of the other team members who caught my eye to help me and they had to hunt them down as they couldn't help me themselves). You would also expect some quality control on the tablecloths and napkins to check for cleanliness. I did not mention as we were with clients but my napkin had black marks on it. Part of the point of going to an upscale restaurant especially with clients is to have a seamless and relaxing experience - unfortunately the service let this down and I am unlikely to return next time I am entertaining. Ultimate responsibility of course rests with the management and maitre d' - it would be good if they were more present/observant.

The hostess was friendly and the appetizers very good, but unfortunately that's all I can say that's positive. Our server abandoned our table after delivering the wine and before taking our order. Fifteen minutes later another server appeared, no smile, not friendly, and said she'd be taking our orders, (no explanation on what happened to the first server). We all ordered the branzino which was small, dry, and disappointing. We were all bummed as this was the restaurant we were most excited about visiting, and saved it for our last meal in London. Unfortunately we were not made to feel welcome; to be honest we felt quite blown off.

Absolutely sublime. The staff were lovely, accommodating and the atmosphere accompanied this, with a quaint feeling amongst the sense that you’re in London, watching individuals go by. The food is lovely (the sorbet melts in your mouth, the meatballs are divine and in fact everything on the menu is perfection!). This has been a family favourite for years.

This is a restaurant frequently visited by me and I like the liveliness of the place but the food has been very mediocre and this time service was diabolical. The person seating us was quite rude and when I asked if we could change tables because where we were seated was too cramped she refused to move us although the table next to us was free. We were right by the entrance and the people waiting to be seated were sitting on the back of my seat with not a care. There was no one to tell them where to stand so diners aren’t disturbed. Had a nice lunch at Cecconi's yesterday. The good: food is delicious (highly recommend the cauliflower appetizer and seabass main). Ambiance is nice and lively and location is excellent. The not-so-good: we had to wait a long time for service during and after our meal. Prices are VERY high so be prepared for that. Overall we enjoyed our lunch and will definitely return.

Service was awful and the food was poor quality. Even though I ordred a medium stake it was cooked well done. Additionally, while our reservation was for 2 hours they said us to change table before the 2 hours and before finishing our food.

We recently returned to Cecconi’s Mayfair, the original branch of the now global brand, for dinner on a Friday night with an old work colleague. Have visited many times over the past 20 years for a variety of family birthdays, anniversary celebrations and more causal occasions, I was delighted to see things haven’t changed very much and it seems to have stood the test of time. Cecconi’s menu of modern classics still hold up as does its understated glamorous atmosphere. It does get quite loud however so not ideal for a more intimate occasion. I’d highly recommend the zucchini fritti, spaghetti lobster and the veal Milanese. An extremely reliable option for an upscale lunch or dinner in Mayfair amidst buzzy surroundings.

Great but very very noisy on a Friday night. Slightly slow service (no drinks for first half hour at table) BUT redeemed later by a great wine recommendation from the waitress. Fun and lively. Not cheap but it's Mayfair!!

Came here for the second time. Absolutely wonderful! The calamari was amazing and the crab ravioli was breathtaking. Thank you for the experience.

This is a good Italian restaurant with good chef. The salmon was very well cooked and very tasty, I haven't tried the whole menu but what I've tried was authentic.

Very noisy - even though windows were open to the street on a fine day - and the main courses had obviously been lingering on the pass. That was odd as they were pasta which would have cooked in minutes once our empty starter plates had been carried through.

Cecconi's was recommended to my son by a friend to take me for a special lunch with his Mum after being abroad for a year..the staff were wonderful..from.booking over the phone..Great table..lovely waitress and waiter who really looked after us and cared..food was delicious..we had the best lobster pasta we have had in years..rich sauce...plenty of beautifully cooked decent sized pieces of lobster..lovely wine..a perfect special lunch ..Great atmosphere too. Added bonus was the Royal Academy across the road...and the Summer Exhibition. Thank you Cecconi's for making my day extra special!

Amazing service and experience. We really enjoyed our time at this restaurant. Once arrived we’ve been welcomed and seated straight away. Communication with staff was perfect since the beginning. Food was delicious and served on the right time always. Even drinks and top up of the wine impeccable. Definitely will be back soon .

We had a booking on Sunday 30/07 for birthday dinner. I called to ask for a mobility friendly booth, due to medical condition. I gave the booking name and time and she (Georgina )kept asking the over and over 'how many people?' I did not know and said 'according to reservation'. She then said 'we cannot guarantee, but will try our best' She did not seem to understand, so I asked for someone who speaks better English, to explain the request. Thereafter, Cecconi's Mayfair cancelled the booking. Quite outrageous that they would treat someone with mobility issues with such disdain!

The food was good but service chaotic and without any care. Main course arrived 2 mins after starter was served so we sent it back. Then we waited an hour to get it back! We asked several times for water and that attitude of waiting staff was poor.
