My wife and I recently visited Cecconi’s Bicester and had a wonderful experience sitting at the bar. Chris, our bartender, provided exceptional service throughout the evening. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel incredibly welcome. His recommendations were spot on, and we thoroughly enjoyed everything he suggested. The ambiance at Cecconi’s is beautiful, and with Chris’s outstanding service, it made for an unforgettable evening. We will definitely be back!

Excellent meals, the Nduja & burrata pizza and my wife had three beef tagliatelle. Truffle and parmesan fries also excellent.

Service was good but food not so nice. Pastas were starchy and sauce like from bottled sauce. We went during dinner so not crowded.

We booked this for a hen party, there were 16 of us in total and we were put in a beautiful private room to the side. The waiter was very accommodating, always filling up our water glasses. The food arrived promptly and they even gave us a couple of free deserts to share at the end. Really excellent evening and service.

After an utterly horrendous experience at La Tua Pasta (reviewed elsewhere), I headed to Cecconi's for dinner. My mood lifted as soon as my fiancé and I were greeted by the very friendly and helpful maitre'd and it just got better from there. A smoked salami pizzette to get us started was absolute dynamite, the crust hitting the perfect balance between crispy and doughy and the toppings all bursting with freshness and flavour. Then it was on to mains: a phenomenal Gnocchi Ragu for me and a delicious chilli prawn pasta for my partner. Accompanied by some excellent wine and top notch service throughout, the whole experience elevated our visit to Bicester Village. I definitely know where we'll be eating the next time we come shopping here.

I would agree with Jordan…the water charge is not something that is shared, which is why when you first sit down it is offered immediately. We think it is tap water….and yes 13.5% service charge is criminal. Also if it is raining beware not to leave your umbrella in the stand just inside. If you do mark it with something so that no one else steals it. That is exactly what happened to us. The waitress, Kaisa, then informed us that it would have been an accident. The point was we were instructed to leave our umbrella in the umbrella stand….not our problem. She went upstairs and came down with two ‘Bicester Village’ umbrellas and thought that would be a substitute. Ours was from the National Trust, and had a sentimental attachment to it. Gone forever, very upset. Food is average. No Head Office phone number or email. Very difficult to make contact.

Great food and good service very pleasant staff

The establishment appeared to be a high-end restaurant, however, the service provided by the staff was lacking in attention to detail. We were required to request napkins on two separate occasions. Our order consisted solely of two cups of coffee and a cheesecake dessert. The cheesecake was of good quality and thoroughly enjoyed.

Went for dinner with my mum and we ordered the pasta dish, pizza and dessert we had the tiramisu and cheesecake with coffee. The food was as delicious. We were served by Dan, who was very hospitable and friendly and made the evening enjoyable. His overall customer service and attention to detail was excellent and would definitely make us want to come back.

The most terrible dining experience I’ve ever had, totally a disaster. We waited 30 minutes after ordered and the next table who came later than us almost done their food. When I haven’t finished my spaghetti, I just paused to look for things in my bag, a very rude male waiter directly took away my plate without asking. I was so shocked and it’s absolutely unacceptable. I told him I haven’t finished, but he was so impatient saying he thought I finished. He thought, without asking, when there were prawns and noodles in my plate. His attitude is very bad and still muttering after he left. What am I paying for the service?

Service is great and food is tasty!

If you're going to shop until you nearly drop you will need food to bring you back to a lovely day at Bicester. Cecconi is a busy place, a big place but you don't get the feeling of people running around missing food orders. The staff were very helpful. It's a very nice place for pizza.

Great place to chill and enjoy great food with excellent service.

The food was nice but the service was very poor which completely spoilt the meal. Whilst queuing, they forgot us and sat many people down before us - we had to remind them again that we are still waiting. When we sat down, they offered us water and then charged us £5.25 without leaving the bottle on the table. And when we wanted more water, we struggled to find a waiter and gave up

I just finished shopping in the village and noticed the small lemonade van. The guy working there i think his name is Theo was so nice and let me try the lemonade before buying and the house lemonade was the best lemonade i have ever tried. I highly recommend to go and try it.

I have been to this restaurant a couple of times, during the weekend and high shopping season this place is always packed. It is a good place to stop for a bite if you're hungry from all of the shopping. It's nothing really special but it's probably the best place inside of the outlet. I was here actually for breakfast this time. The full English breakfast was huge. The bacons were more americanized, cured, big, thick and crispy. Not the typical bacon that you get in England, which is more less like a piece of thin fried ham. I love it and you get a lot of it. The sausages were very flavorful, smooth texture like a hotdog. The tomatoes were on point but the mushroom was over cooked, dry as a piece of cardboard. Good soft beans. There is that big piece of black thing I think they called it the Bread Pudding, the flavor was good, mixed with pork and bread crumps (or similar filler) but it is hard and dry as a rock, it was more like an expired oak meal cracker, such a shame, I liked the flavor. The eggs were tiny. There isn't much to choose from unless you want the weird Pan Asian noodles next door, or the coffee, pastry and crepe stalls (those are actually pretty good), so stick to the basics.

Outrageously high prices for extremely small portions and the food is not fresh! Conned once, never again.example £34 for a stupid invisible scallop! Ridiculous. With love ❤️

I only give one star because I find it incredible that they charged us £6 for water!! You arrive and they ask you, "tap or still water?" As with all sites in the UK, you choose and it's FREE. My surprise was when, when I got home, I saw the £6 that I had charged for a liter of water from a refilled bottle and above all, in the UK that NEVER happens. Super disappointed about that. I'm never going back just for that. There are thousands of very good Italian restaurants. I insist, in the UK tap water is free, don't fall into that trap.

Nice menu, good selection and cross section of prices. The mushroom bruscetta was very tasty and surprisingly filling. Lovely looking restaurant area.

Me and my friends thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Cecconi’s. The service was excellent and the food was fresh and came out at the perfect time. I strongly recommend the famous Picante cocktail, their Pizza, Calamari and Parmigiana. I am sure anything you order will be excellent! The desserts are also incredible, we ordered almost one of everything and shared - the Tiramisu was my favourite! Thank you so much for having us, will be returning!

I haven’t the food this bad in a long time - the calamari gritty and chewy , the chicken well rubbed would taste better and when attempting to speak with staff they spoke to you rudely and could not care - terrible experience, don’t waste your time and money

Dishes I highly recommend: • Buffalo mozzarella pizza • Baked gnocchi • Chips Dessert: • Profiteroles served with vanilla ice cream & chocolate sauce - not the profiteroles I was expecting, made in house & very tough to break apart.

Woeful establishment, better off picking up a Tesco meal deal down the road. The one star I’ve given goes to the former pizzaiolo, who is incredibly handsome.

What a place everytime I come to Bicester it’s my go to I love how the restaurant is run the staff are super friendly and nice they always go above and beyond with customer service and they make you feel like your at home. The food is very good and the pizzas on the sourdough is my go to thank you Cecconis Bicester.

My husband and I popped in for a few cocktails whilst we listened to live music in the square. We were made to feel really welcome by Marric (apols is misspelt), and we stayed longer that we originally planned. We tried the truffle arranccini and the whipped ricotta with truffle and honey - it was delicious. A special shout out to the Casa Verde cocktail, my husbands new favourite. I will certainly look forward to going back again soon.

Food took so long to arrive and servers were rude. Think it was one of the female mangers that claimed pine nuts weren't a nut, she continued to disagree with me until eventually returning food to the kitchen. Told staff prior to ordering I had an allergy and it clearly wasn't accounted for. Won't be here again and I recommend everyone else avoids.

A must visit when in Bicester village

This cecconis is unlike any other I’ve been to. We got seated right away, the staff was kind and attentive. We ordered - hot latte -strawberry basil lemonade -margarita pizza -Gnocchi -burrata Everything was delicious. The cheesecake had a hint of olive oil and was absolutely divine. The gnocchi was soft and pillowy and perfect. The marg pizza was good wish it had more basil And the drinks were yummy If I ever came back to bicester I would make sure to come stop by here

Good Italian restaurant I asked: Siagetti pomdoroo (I do not recommend it) Tonarelli white sauce with mushroom (excellent) Risotto with mushrooms (excellent) Rocca salad (good)

Had lunch here for 2 people on a very busy Saturday. We booked and went straight in, waiter and the staff were very helpful and attentive. Food was very good, although the Gnocchi with Gorgonzola could do with more cheese! Good atmosphere but it can get a bit noisy. Recommended

Everything is amazing, we Arabians pasta, focaccia, the truffle pizza is amazing, and you must have the Margherita pizza.

Visited the Bicester branch with family who were visiting me. We were 3 adults and two children. A very pleasant lady got us a table then handed over to the person who would “look after us”… well, that’s where it went wrong. Ordered pizza for the children, I ordered fish. How hard could it be to do the usual of ordering drinks before the meal arrived?!. I had nearly finished my Food before the non-alcoholic drink I ordered?. Had to remind then. Then they had the audacity to add a hefty tip?!. Cheeky!.

I really liked the service. There is a young man who works in the restaurant in the drinks cart. I was amazed by his dealings with people and his kind personality. It is priceless. I think his name is theo. The restaurant is lucky to have an employee like him.

The food was tasteless. We tried the Gnocchi and Margeritta Pizza(thinking what could possibly go wrong). The pizza was mostly dough with specs of cheese and tomato. We left our food and paid 12.5% service tax on top. Would not recommend.

Every dish was delightful! Arancini, Meatballs, Ricotta with Truffle & Honey and Calamari. Had the rigatoni for the main and too stuffed for dessert. Service was slow, but this seems to be the norm in the UK.

All I had was the profiteroles with chocolate sauce. They were amazingly good. I would cross the pond just for those.

Beware of the discretionary service charge which is not mentioned. This is printed on your final. Expensive for what it is..9 pounds a glass of wine. Aimed at the ppl who have more money than sense..

Had a lovely lunch at Cecconi’s in Bicester Village. The staff were brilliant and very attentive and the food was delicious.

We only had a quick coffee , but the Greek male staff member was so lovely , we will definitely be coming back to eat . The food looks as amazing as the decor …

We had lunch at the restaurant while shopping. Food is very good (like of their locations). We had the nduja pizza and their baby lettuce salad - both really good. However, their service was disappointing. The outdoor patio was clearly understaffed, we had to wait for 10 minutes for our plates to be cleared after finishing our meal. Another waiter had to step in to help. Then we waited about 10 minutes for a single shot of espresso. I believe management should reevaluate their scheduling and clearly instruct staff to be more attentive to their tables.

When we think about celebrations, Cecconi's in BV is always our first option and it never disappoints. From the starter to the dessert the quality and tastes of everything was outstanding, my truffle arancini, parma ham, tiramisu might have been the best meal I have ever been served. Service was delightful and very professional. 10/10

Be careful not to get stung by the £5.50 water charge they offer upon arrival. Food nothing outstanding - pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven. Service average but again nothing outstanding. Had to send fries back as they arrived a long time before the pizzas. Removed the 13.5% service charge that had already been added to the bill. Don’t mind tipping but only if the service warrant this.

Service here is completely unacceptable, the blonde lady at the front is severely lacking in front of house skills. She did not greet or even acknowledge us when we arrived, and when we finally got her attention she was too lazy to seat us and had the audacity to point at a table for us to sit at. Multiple individuals complained about her behaviour today alone. Food is average at best. I would go elsewhere if visiting Bicester. Give Cecconi’s a miss.

The meals are all delicious The cauliflower as an appetizer was chewy but not too old. The steak for the main course was soft and tender, the cod was fresh and delicate, the chicken pesto sauce and vegetables were not too salty, and the pasta seasoning suited us well. The three desserts have moderate flavors and sufficient portions👍👍

Visited here with friends and our dog and it was great. There were plenty of space considering it was a bank holiday weekend so we were seated quickly. We had drinks and cakes which tasted great. Highly recommend!

Bicester village full of wanky toffs buying branded clothing so not here for the atmosphere or shopping, just in the area with the kids and needed a decent pizza place. The pizza is literally the best I’ve had in years, especially the spicy salami one, absolutely ace!

Worse service I have ever had. They forgot one of our dishes and didn’t realise. No one came to ask how our food was or if we need anything. The bill came and they had kept the scallop dish on there even though we hadn’t received it. The calamari was overcooked and chewy. When I told the manager she didn’t do anything about it. Horrible service I will never return L!

We went to Cecconi's on a busy Saturday lunchtime. First time there and definitely not the last! The food was delicious. It is on the expensive side but as soon as you taste the dishes you understood why. The ingredients were of good quality and well prepared. We LOVED the arancini, they were to die for. The beef carpaccio melted in your mouth and the salty kick of the parmesan on top was well balanced. The pizzas were delicious and arrived promptly. And the desserts were devoured in less than 2 minutes! Tiramisu, profiteroles and the orange semolina (or was it polenta?) cake were all great. Can't fault our visit. Marek, the manager, was friendly, efficient and seemed to be everywhere all at once! Our waitress Anna was friendly, polite and professional. A great meal, in a lovely atmosphere 👌 and all served quickly enough so our 3 young kids didn't have time to moan they were bored. Success!
