Enjoyed my spur-of-the-moment dinner here recently when I was at Selfridges to get something for my little nephew. I always love a shrimp-and-avocado combination. The Royal Shrimp Cocktail (at 332kcal), had a lot of shrimps but only one big prawn and a tiny sprinkling of Prunier caviar. The Caviar House rosé champagne went very well with the seafood, and vice-versa. The slices of toasts were really nice too - warm and crispy, done just right. If you would like more seafood, including caviar (like a mouthful of it), salmon and an oyster, try the platter. The entire meal (with the Royal Cocktail, not the platter) was about £60/USD73/€69/SGD100/AUD115. Service was attentive, with good recommendations, and prompt. Do note the seats/stools around the counter are rather high. Definitely a great option to consider if you are a seafood (and not just “see-food”!) lover when you’re at Selfridges or in the vicinity for a good but quick meal!

This raw seafood bar is located at the food hall inside of Selfridges. They’re known for their fresh seafood and they delivered! Also the bar only sits up to 10 ppl.

Tucked away in a discreet enclave of the Selfridges Food Hall is the Caviar House and Prunier Oyster Bar. The most attentive, swift, and professional service is demonstrated by obviously well trained and experienced staff who act like the perfect hosts. Walid, Naghib prep the seafood, which is then plated and dressed by Heaven. All completed under the direct and superlative supervision of Mr Co. Highly recommended for a quick stop for a bite to eat with a glass of champagne to delight your day.

Traveling around London; we stopped at our old haunts!  Not a haunt, but a delightful seafood and wine/cocktail bar at Selfridges. I was enthralled watching Zeinab dicing lovely colored vegetables for the upcoming meals.  She and Natassia, who was mixing up some delicious cocktails, struck up a conversation with us. They were delightful, young, intelligent women. It was so enlightening discussing World issues outside one's own country. My husband and I totally enjoyed our time well spent at Selfridges Cavier House & Prunier. The atmosphere, food, and drinks were outstanding.

A lovely lunch, the dishes were prepared in front of us, all of the ingredients were fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. A really lovely lunch.

Caviar is expensive to me but here you can taste seafood excelent and foi gras with a flute of champagne. Very recommended for a cool stop during shopping

Die Sorgfalt mit dem Umgang dieser hochwertigen Lebensmittel spürt man hier. Feines ruhiges Service umrahmt hier das Essen mit erlesenen Weinen und Getränken. Für einen kleinen Snack mit einem Glas Champagner 🍾 muss man ca. 80-100 Euro rechnen. Man kann aber ohne weiteres auch ein paar tausend Euros 💶 hier verkonsumieren. 😉

Good and fresh food can easily be found in London, especially if you’re comfortable paying a top price for it. Bogdan, one of the employees, gave us an exceptional service that we will never forget. We came once as a couple and came back many more times. Again, the food is really good but Bogdan is the one who made the difference!

The menu has a great selection of quality food. However you are paying for the quality, you can taste the difference in how good the food is. We had the sea food plater (which is for one) some oysters and the lobster crap sandwhich, with two soft drinks and the bill came to just over £100. Honestly although it tasted great the portions are small, and it is overpriced, even if it is all of a better standard, as a diet coke is £4.50, £45 for a sandwich and to be honest I was still hungry after eating there as well. If money is no concern for you then you will enjoy your meal, as you can keep ordering, however if you are the average person you will be left feeling slightly unsatisfied because of the price you have to pay. Staff are friendly, the location is good as its in the food hall. I just feel they should have lower prices or up their portion sizes for it to get that fifth star.

Amazing sea food bar, very upscale, delicious oysters and salmon, a bit expensive but it's worth the price.

An excellent visit again to Caviar house, it never fails. One of my favourite places for lunch when shopping in Oxford street. The seafood is about as fresh as you can get when you're not next to the sea and the quality is first class. Champagne there is a small but good selection and its always served perfectly chilled. The service is tip top too, cant wait to go back.

Понятно что caviar house & prunier это своего рода макдональдс, только с черной икрой, вот двумя достоинствами макдональдса он и обладает, только в своей нише: предсказуемость и стабильность. Все хорошо.

過往來到這店也是吃生嚎和海鮮,今次店員推 介Balik三文魚,說是非常罕有,所以我們便點了它及香繽,著實美味可口非常,齒頰留香.

Absolutely unexpected; a great pit stop to make right in the middle of any shopping experience you make at Selfridges. Quick service, polite friendly staff, and fabulously fresh sea food. Try the rock oysters to start and the king crab both of which are legendary favourite! A decent selection of wines are on offer as well; the Chablis goes perfectly with the oysters. Enjoy!

Fuimos por champagne y ostras en Selfridges hace 19 años, así que quería repetir la experiencia y terminé yendo allí dos veces. No es barato, pero tampoco es demasiado caro y vale la pena renunciar a una noche para disfrutar de esto. We love this little spot for beautiful champagne and seafood, it is pricey but such a perfect place for sitting people watching and taking in the atmosphere at Harrods. Very polite staff.

We found this in Selfridges and what a coup! A lively decadent seafood and champagne bar in middle of food store. Great atmosphere and excellent food plus very good service. Loved it😊

Located on the ground floor of Selfridges you will find this excellent oyster bar, service was quick, staff were very friendly, well presented and the chilled Savignon Blanc, well what else can l say, always worth a visit

Qué pena estropear tan excelente servicio productos con tan pobre! Realmente no me importa pagar precios premium si llego a la comida y el servicio. Cuando vayamos a Londres (de Australia), el lugar que nos visita y darnos un capricho (y pasar el gasto) es el champán y ostras en Selfridges en Oxford Street. Ahora es dirigido por Caviar Prunier y casa (que tiene otras ubicaciones), así que el champagne es su marca, pero no dejes que eso te desanime.

Disappointed- dropped in for a glass of champagne and when ordering Selfridges Brut Rose was told there was none left. Disappointing that on a Friday evening they run out of their signature champagne!

Stopped for oysters which were lovely but salmon tartare been way too dry and boring. I would rather go for proper kitchen operated place than a bar as prices are sky high for what they serve

This bar has moved from the front of Selfridges. Not so keen on new area. The service is excellent though. It does get busy. I just wish it was a little bigger so you are not so squashed in.

We always stop here when shopping at Harrod's. For the first time we came here for a pre theater dinner and it was such a wise choice. The luchtime waits done not exist at dinner time, and the caviar and smoked salmon choices and quality are amazing.

Nous avons manger avec un ami dans ce restaurant au centre commercial Harrods c'est chère mais excellent je vous conseille d'y faire une pause déjeuner.

Piatti superlativi, anche se il menù è molto sintetico, i piatti sono superlativi. Pochi tavoli. Tanti tipi di salmone affumicato ed ostriche eccezionali. Ottimo lo Champagne della Casa, il servizio è ineccepibile, ci torno sempre con grande piacere

its nice to find an oasis in the middle of a shopping sea in the center of Selfridges. we were welcomed with a smile and a happy atmosphere and after a few bucks Fizz we ordered off the menu i had the sea food platter. the smoked salmon [two types] was very good we were offered bread which was fresh and with this dish you also get two oysters which were just right to go with the rest of the meal.in all a nice stop off and a nice place to people watch and recharge your batterys

Love this place... staff are always so friendly and the food! OMG!.... the smoked salmon is to die for... the creamy texture and the clever soft smoked flavour is not an easy thing to achieve... Salmon, Caviar and the bread make for lunchtime heaven. This place is a MUST!

Vi tok en bedre lunsj på Caviar House imellom litt shopping, og dette var utrolig bra.Vi startet opp med gode østers fra Frankrike.Deretter bestemte vi krabbesalat og Lakse brettet.I tillegg 2 stk av 125 gr kaviar. Russisk såklart, og dette var meget godt. Kaviaren ble servert i sammen med små lefser og tilbehøret var meget behagelig.I tillegg hadde de ett god vinutvalg så vi hadde det perfekt.

I love this place for some smoked salmon but always disappointed the staff are not trained on gluten free and they still don't supply gf bread or gf salad dressing - As I m coeliac I had to remind staff to not touch bread before handling my dish. Staff are lovely - really friendly and helpful though. I will return - I just hope this chain listens and one day supplies the gf bread and a salad dressing I can eat!!

We loved this place for lunch. We were intending to go elsewhere but stumbled onto this place and ended up having lunch here a few times during our two weeks in London. Even though they were busy at times they always accommodated us, very friendly and attentive staff. Lovely place and certainly will be on our repeat list.

En güZel Somonu hayatımda burada tattımbirazda yanına havyar ekletin gramla ekliyorlar , somon un her türlüsünden tadın,istiridyelerde enfes kısacası tüm deniz mahsulleri harika..Casa azul chardonay beyaz sarap enfes.Fiyatlar ortalama üstünde ama bu fiyatlara bu deneyim değer,rezervasyon yaptırın oturma yeri kısıtlı bar tarafında kalırsınız..Çok güzel ortam.Çalışanlar çok kaliteli hizmet sunuyorlar.

I have been in almost all the caviar places in big malls in london and this one is the best. Great portion, friendly staff (especially the Colombian guy that i did not catch his name) and fresh food. Great stop over for a glass of champagne

Great stop whilst shopping. Prawns disappointing should've just had a dozen oysters and left the wife with Lobster. Caviar house champagne a real delight.

Loved it! A must- do when in London.Located on the ground floor in Selfridges department store, this small but perfectly formed champagne and oyster bar gets busy quickly and you can see why.The European staff are so professional, well-trained and genuinely friendly.This will be our ' go-to' place when next in London which unfortunately won't be until May as we live in the Middle East.Cant wait to come back.Thanks Paco!

Okay, I'm just going to come right out and say that I love oysters. I'm now a frequent eater of the seafood and it pains me to say this but I've come across far too many oyster haters. While I totally and completely understand those that dislike the critter because of its texture , I don't understand how people who have NEVER EVEN TRIED OYSTERS can come out and say they don't like them. I can happily and healthily eat oysters all year long. At the end of all of this, you may just want to let the world be your oyster but I'm going to let the oyster be my world.Everytime I fly over to London I make certain to make one stop and that is at Selfridges Food Hall in Oxford Street and particularly at their Seafood Bar. I simply take my place at the bar and order six of the best Oysters and a glass of Champagne. I have never been given oysters as a child, so now that I have acquired a taste for them as an adult I can't let go. For me they are an aphrodisiac. Accompanying me was my friend Paul who finds oysters a bit daunting and admits that he doesn't know how to eat them. Instead he ordered a plate of smoked salmon.Once again it was fun to eat with friend....eating what we both like best.

We visited the Caviar House and Champagne bar at Selfridges for lunch during a day out in London. The staff were really friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our lunch.The food was of really good quality. I enjoyed a large blini with creme fraiche, smoked salmon and caviar. My husband had gravalax with pumpernickel toast. Delicious and we will return I'm sure during our next visit to London.

We attended the champagne bar today and ordered a glass of Selfridges champagne.What we were presented with was something in a flute that was cheap tasting, dull and with a rather odd and somewhat unpleasant taste. We could bring ourselves to drink only about half of it by which time it had gone flat.We felt rather insulted that Selfridges would present its customers with something like this and we will therefor never return.The stools were not all that easy for short people to get onto either.

I have fond memories of having oysters and wine with my dad here during one if his visits to London whilst I was still in uni. 10 years on and I made this little oyster bar a must-visit during my December trip- on boxing day no less! A bit pricey but great for a treat and even better than I remembered. Will definitely be back!

Stopped in for a half bottle of rosé champagne and the czarina plate of fabulous salmon, blini, creme fresh, and caviar. They also give you freshly baked rye bread and a small mixed salad. This is an expensive "snack" , but it was Boxing Day and it's only once a year!

We had a brief but memorable tasting of oysters and champagne here and entertained by the 'infamous' Paco Escabar. Once (2007) the second fastest oyster shucker in Britain. Great friendly staff and also met some very friendly patrons also enjoying the treats. A good place to have some quick down time from busy Oxford Street shopping.

We treated ourselves to champagne and oysters on my birthday. The champagne was gorgeous and the oysters were very tasty. The service from the staff was very attentive and there was a lovely atmosphere!

It's sheer temptation that one succumbs to passing the seafood display on ice that screams "fresh" and "come eat me" never mind the price. I was drooling but the 3 young adults with me were growling to have a go at the fare.Keeping wallet check in mind; ordered a dozen and a half english rock oysters and a plate of salmon to act as appetizers (mains would have to be the salt beef on rye sandwich at the Brass Rail with the 3 maggot infested stomachs in tow).Eyes transfixed on the artist behind the bar; we watched him shuck the oysters and dressing the plate. Served with a choice of dressings my team was rearing to go. Before the first oyster could be devourved; he suggested that we lace it with caviar. Hmmmm clever him. Guess lunch would be reduced to chips but what the heck. Enjoyed sliding the oysters down our oral slide and followed that with salmon on rye. Nirvana is the best description. My wallet went limp with GBP 90 drained from the card. A glass of champagne would have been great and so I indulged a bit further.The staff is well trained and friendly and this internal spa ritual will certainly get a repeat on my next visit to London.

We stopped by the Champagne & Oyster Bar at Selfridges and enjoyed a half bottle of champagne, a rest from shopping, and to watch the world go by. Damian was masterful with the shucking of the oysters and more than happy to answer questions and share his expertise. The manager was present and his mother was seated on one of the stools. The team atmosphere that he has created looked excellent to me, as a customer. I have to confess that this is one of my most favourite London experiences.

My husband took me to the Caviar House Oyster Bar for lunch on my birthday and we both really enjoyed it. The champagne was lovely and the food excellent. I ordered salmon caviar with toast and sour cream. The portion of salmon caviar was very generous. My husband had a mixed fish platter and again the portions of fish were very generous. The quality of the food and drink was very good and we found it to be reasonably priced for a one off treat and that the staff were friendly.

This used to be a lovely place to have oysters and champagne and still would be if the staff weren't so rude and not interested!It's a pity because the food is simple and delicious, however the rude, slow staff spoilt it this time! Some thing has changed, since the last time I visited a year ago, other customers at the bar also complained!

Tudo começou com fotografias na entrada da loja e muita atenção aos detalhes no interior. Um passeio rápido pelo interior da loja ate chegar no mercado. A fome apertou e o local escolhido foi o Caviar house Oyster. Sentamos e com o cardápio, escolhi o que a pessoa do lado estava comendo, Um prato enorme de diversos tipos de frutos do mar. Para acompanhar, uma taca de vinho branco. Durante o jantar, um papo saudável sobre a experiência de se estar em uma loja de departamento que esta sendo retratada através de uma serie na TV. Quando a conta chegou, veio junto dois chocolates. Compramos uma sacola de material reciclado no mercado. A experiência foi satisfatória e recomendável.

Five years in a row we've started our Christmas shopping here. The Bar is situated at the side of The Food Hall. We sat on the barstools about 12.30pm and were the only customers. Behind the counter the staff were busy preparing salad and wrapping lemon quarters. I ordered 6 Rock Oysters and a 10g Caviar Shot and the missus had a Shrimp Cocktail. We both had a glass of Rose champagne. They got straight on to our order yet by the time it was served to us all the seats, about 16, were taken. It's great watching the staff forcing open the oysters and preparing dishes of prawns, smoked salmon etc. The food really was excellent and the service second to none. Not cheap at £82.50 inc tip, but it's nice to pander oneself occasionally. We'll be back next year.
