Very delicious Chinese food , good price

Really yummy food, feels authentic and very flavourful.

Even with my phone issue so I couldn’t be contacted once I contact them the food was brought asap. Really friendly staff and amazing food!

I don't like to leave reviews and Cathy have always been fantastic, but tonight the food was so salty that we couldn't eat it. I hope it was just a one off.

Prawn toast smelled strange. Reluctantly bit into it and it tasted sour and tangy. Usually great from here and I've never been disappointed before. Though please more take care in future. If I wanted to eat gone-off food I'd eat it out of my bin for free.

I ordered a special curry. worst meal I have had, usually very good.

If I could rate it 0/5 I would. Absolutely revolting. Flavours all wrong, 'meat' texture all wrong. Even the spring rolls were inedible.

FOOD WAS LATE, PHONED SHOP, NOT VERY HELPFUL. DRIVER ARRIVED ON HIS PHONE, DIDNT SPEAK TO ME, DIDNT CHECK ADDRESS/NAME WAS CORRECT AND DIDNT APOLOGISE. FOOD WAS COLD, JOURNEY FROM SHOP TO ADDRESS 10 MINS TOP, SHOULDNT BE COLD. WILL NOT USE AGAIN.

Very poor service. Ordered food arrived 2hours later. Only received 1 initial update. Status changed to delivered which it wasn't Rang to enquire and was told it was 1 minute away. 20 minites later food still not arrived. 30 minutes later it arrived Food was cold and greasy and couldn't eat any of it. Also couldn't reheat due to it being chicken and rice Contacted Just eat and received a message to say seller has decided to give you no refund!! £20 of unedible food!! Extremely poor service. Very disappointed and will never order again. Can not comment on the atmosphere as such but the telephone manner left a lot to be desired.

placed an order at 7 01pm predicted delivery time by 8pm. Received an update to say there was a delay and would be delivered by 8.30pm which was fine. 8.30pm came and went. then status changed to delivered. rang and was told it wild be there in 1 minute. 20minutes later still wasn't here. Arrived shortly after and was cold and greasy. unable to eat and couldn't reheat as it was chicken and rice. contacted Just eat and then Received message saying the seller has decided to offer no refund!!!!!!!!

Not happy about the service I called up for an update after 50mins and was told it may be a little late the food didn’t arrive until 35mins later so it took 1 hour 40mins to what the app told us it would be for a takeaway which is shocking. The food came I asked for 2x sweet and sour chicken Cantonese and it was in batter and our 2x chicken fried rice had hardly any chicken it was mainly rice and very dry. Very very disappointed!!

The food was warm when delivered. the spring rolls were nice but I do not recommend the chicken and sweetcorn soup. I've had this soup from other places with chunks of chicken in but from here I can't even explain the chicken. its almost like it's been blended

So disappointed with this order. My chow mein was burnt. The noodles were blackened and hard in part and the whole dish tasted burnt. My friends duck was tough and dry. I have used Cathay for years and neber had such a terrible delivery. The starter box contents were minimal 2 amd had been packed out with chips which were reheated. I deserve a refund before i would consider using Cathay again. It was embarressing as I had company!

Rapid delivery time but at a cost. ‘Hot’ beef in black bean sauce had zero spice, lemon chicken portion wouldn’t have fed a child, half of what it used to be. Chips tasted reheated. Used to be much better but gone downhill, won’t use again.

This order was very nice. Decent flavour. Not too greasy. The chow mein was good, not loads of flavour but not greasy and not too salty. Noodles were tasty, not overpowered with bean sprouts. The chilli chicken was good not that spicy but good enough. Decent price point.

Wrong meal sent. Requested refund and restaurant agreee to process order through just eat

Ordered plain ribs but had ribs in plum sauce delivered but this was a nice surprise as I actually really enjoyed them. Food was nice and delivery was quick

Ordered at 18.54pm for delivery at 20.00pm. After receiving message from Just Eat at 20.10pm saying order had been delivered, I rang takeaway at 20.18pm to find out where my food was, to be told it would be there any time soon. Turned up at 20.21pm and driver could'nt even be bothered to get out of his car to ring the door bell.

Disappointing salt and pepper chips no onions or spring onions added was just a seasoning only so for £4.00 not worth the money. Sweet and sour chicken was delicious.

I ordered salt and pepper chicken wings and chips that is not what I got - they literally just put normal salt and pepper with large onions that they couldn’t be asked to slice

Salt and pepper chicken wings were soggy and anemic Sweet and sour sauce was good but pork was overcooked, hard and dry inside. Egg fried rice did not have much egg in it at all. Will have to think twice about ordering from these again.

Chicken Portions sizes are very small came with hardly any sauce too

Thought curry sauce was a bit thin, but then tried it and it had a very nice flavour. The veggie starter box for tea was lovely. Liked a bit of flavour but was still very nice. Will definitely order from these guys again.

Food was pretty bland, and chicken was bitty, the duck was somehow mostly fat over meat the salad was minimal and poor. I do not recommend eating from here. Waste of money.

Delivery was on time, this was the only good part of the food. Salt and pepper chips were just normal chips, no salt and pepper and not crispy Chicken dish had 3 pieces of chicken and then a whole lot of veg. Will deffo not order from here again.

Food arrived 25 mins after was told left the restaurant and only live a stone's throw away. Was lukewarm when arrived. Worst part though was inedible chicken in sweet & sour, tough as old boots, had to leave to one side, ended up eating rice for my Friday night dinner! very disappointed

Don't normally leave reviews, but this was the worst takeaway I've had in a long time. Most of the food was cold, salt and pepper chips were just laced with table salt, threw most of it in the bin, biggest waste of 40 quid ever spent.. won't be ordering again.

Best chips I've had in a long time and the crab-and-sweet-corn soup was delicious; it had a lovely delicate flavour. The roast spring chicken was beautifully cooked and the gravy was perfect, just like my mum used to make. Wandering Dragon was a delightful new experience for me.

Best in the area. Service with a smile and always ready on time. Now our regular 'go to' takeaway!

Really good food. In a sea of mediocre Chinese take away's this really stood out. I had vermicelli noodles and they had a really authentic smokey wok flavour. Highly recommended.

Ordered food through Just eat. Almost £30 worth and only 1.4 mile away and cancelled my online order. Not impressed.

Ordered 2 dishes with prawns in and they were off smelt terrible . Noodles extremely dry and prawn crackers stale . Sadly won’t order again this place used to be really nice

Ordered here a few times. The food was not the best. Got stomach cramps after eating. Only flavour was salt. Chicken Fried Rice was nice though. Delivery time was good.

Usually my favorite Chinese but was disappointed tonight. Got set meal for 2 and we received 2 bones with no meat on at all for the starter!

Some of the food was ok. The salt and pepper chips weren't what I was expecting. Whenever I've had them from other places they have bits of onions, chillies etc but these just had salt on them. The prawn toast was very soggy. The chicken and sweetcorn soup became very watery after a couple of mouthfuls. The beef in black bean had a decent amount of beef and was tasty

Definitely my go to Chinese Takeaway. Food is really good. Was slightly late but it was rush hour so understandable. Starters & mains lovely. Always hot/warm but I always have the plates in the oven. Delivery guy is always friendly & courteous

This is one restaurant that we use quite a lot as the food and service is normally very good but our meal tonight was not great. my partners meal was just okay but I was very disappointed with my meal. My king prawn in batter were overcooked and the accompanying container of sweet n sour sauce was watery and not very nice at all. I was also so extremely disappointed to find that my plain fried soft noodles were vermicelli noodles and not proper medium egg noodles as I would expect as I hate vermicelli pasta or noodles so basically I didn't enjoy my meal at all but my partner mostly enjoyed hers. The restaurant should state that their plain fried noodles are vermicelli noodles and not your usual medium egg noodles or they should offer both types as an option as normally medium egg noodles are used in all the Chinese restaurants I've ever used and not vermicelli noodles unless requested. We will certainly order from here again as we normally enjoy the food but I definitely won't be ordering the King prawns with sweet n sour sauce, instead I will ask for curry sauce. Also I definitely won't be ordering the so called plain fried noodles again unless they start using medium egg noodles instead.

Absolutely lovely, I'm a bit of a stickler for chinese food but this place does everything fresh, well seasoned, great veggie options for the mrs. So happy to have discovered this place is way better than some of the 1 star reviews indicate. My recommendation is blackbean sauce dishes and the seaweed as a side, pure flavour!
