Ordered 9 pizzas from this place for me and my friends that were going to download festival. They were really friendly, and the pizzas were so good even after driving them 5 minutes down the road and to the other side of a field. Imagine what they'd be like fresh. Honestly cannot fault this guys we'll definitely be back next year.

We must have ordered about 20 kebabs from them. Their kebabs are good. But if you want loyalty, don't expect it. We missed an item. We live in the village. They weren't willing to deliver to us at cost price. They have now lost a regular. They treat you like their last pound. Zero loyalty. Leaves a sour taste. A.w.cooper7

They have poor customer service. There delivery drivers are great, but they do not care about loyal customers. Will not be ordering from them again

PORTION SIZES AND PRICES HERE ARE A JOKE NOW! Large kebab lol it was tiny! Chips and cheese, may aswell of just ordered chips, the service is rubbish at the counter when you go inside to order, and they DONT take card payments I mean 🤷🏼‍♂️ been coming for years and years, I’ll go down the road and get a lot better food and quality and service from elsewhere from now on! Bring back the old staff and get a new server instead of the misery that takes your order, depressing

If I could give the service a negative number!I 100% would.DISGUSTING.Wanted to change something on my order after 10 minutes of placing it.Didnt see anything wrong with this because the food wouldn’t of been cooked.Rang up and the person on the phone lied to me saying “the order was already out with a delivery driver and would be with me very soon,so we can’t change it”.I was so confused but didn’t really question it as it wasn’t a massive order around £30.It came to around 40 mins later.Rang them back up as I was told it was on the way and I didn’t want food that had been sitting around for ages.Got called a liar as the staff wouldn’t admit to the manager about who had spoken to me.REFUSED to let me cancel.Please just AVIOD.Dont waste ur money at all.So many better places to eat

First time trying tonight, Drove 7 miles on a friend's recommendation and definitely won't be my last, Meat was juicy and tender, Nan was fresh and tasty, Salad fresh and crisp and you definitely get your moneys worth, absolutely huge, Two of us couldn't finish it. Best Kebab I have had in a long time

We ordered from this place as we were staying at the Hilton hotel castle donnigton. Delivery very good food lovely, would definitely order again from here.

Do NOT order from Castle Pizza. We ordered some food from there tonight, the pizza came with green spots on the dough, a weird smell and generally not a nice pizza and the kebab was so soggy it was inedible. We requested a refund, they told us we had to return the order to them (which we did) and that they would call us, no call came so we had to call them. They deemed there to be nothing wrong with the food, the person I spoke to on the phone was SO rude to me, and said that they would not give us a refund or even a partial refund. One of the reasons given was because we had eaten some of the food and so we couldn’t return it all, even though we told them the food we did eat was fine and just wanted a refund on the food we couldn’t eat (but apparently they don’t do partial refunds!) Completely unacceptable customer service and awful food.

We've been coming here for around 5 years and recently they have been missing meals out of our orders. Today was the final straw and we will never be ordering here again. We phoned up to ask them to send out the missing meal and the man on the phone was instantly defensive. He then said he packed it himself and of we look properly we will find it. He then said it was my fault we weren't getting our food because I was on the phone to him. We then asked for his name to report him for the way he was talking to us and he refused multiple times. So in an 8 min call, I was called a liar, told it was my own fault, accused of blackmailing when asking for a refund, and told I wasn't allowed to complain. Would not recommend here at all! Customer service is shocking

Great pizza loved it, one down side is you can't pay by card but it is what it is. Definitely would go back next Time I'm round the area. Thanks guys

What a disappointing amount of food, £3.80 for take away chips that should have been large size. No more than 20 chips. Actually the worst takeaway that I have had for years. Saturday night food was rubbish

Ordered large chips as part of our order and was charged as such. When I got home there was around 20 chips …. Large chips … I don’t think so they should be called tiny chips.

Really nice pizza and kebab, delivery always on time.

Update: Since this review I have ordered from them about 6 or 7 times and they have got my order right every time. Food is good, price is good, service is fast if collecting, review bumped up to 4 stars. 5 stars would be difficult for a kebab shop I think, food would have to be at another level that I have only seen in the Manchester and London. No salad on my kebab again, this is the 4th time they have forgotten (and yes it was selected on the website). If you can't get a kebab right then give up.

Used to love this place but the price increase means there is better value for money in the local area.

9 months ago, I rated this place 5*. The care of food has gone down so much in this place, It is unbelievable.. They Don't care what they serve you, or how it's precented. I used to go out my way to use this take away. But now, I stay away. And I'd advise anyone who asked me, to do the same...

Called in early evening, for chips and peas, the chips were stale and solid, clearly refried several times and there were no actual peas in the pot, peas soup with zero flavour, that was the last chance for these guys, think they have changed hands as always used to be good?

Always good food and at a good price. Tried one of the curries last week which was nice too - between us a pizza, chips and a curry! You know I had a bit of each, and it was so right 😜 The only thing I would say is I wish they did a thinner crust pizza option as well as things my preferred.

Food hour late. Food arrived cold by taxi driver told to complain to castle as wasn’t his problem. I did and they didn’t bother to reply. Very disappointed.

Absolutely shocking, I order from there regularly and the food has been hurrendous the past few orders, the donner meet was cold and shocking the curry’s had water in it the rice was horrific and I made an order before and the meat was charcloe black and burnt with a shocking naan bread! This isn’t acceptable! Rang up to put a complaint in and was told because I waited 30 mins to ring up and say something they told me there was nothing they could do for me even tho they promised that they would send me a fresh order Shocking place and will never return avoid at all costs

From Ordering 3 times a week, i now have to junp on trip advisor to warn everyone. The food has been below average for a while, however I’ve kept my mouth shut. Understand the fact that there’s a lot going on, there service has always been incredible. Today I waited 2 hours for 2 re-heated curry’s, 2 portions of cold watery rice, and a cold dry kebab that looked like it was trimmed off the joint a week ago, aswell as getting the sauces wrong. I rang back to get my order replaced and they said yes as long as I have the old order. Which I have. Then rang back 10 mins later to say we cant replace your awful food because you rang more than 30 mins before we dropped the order off. Wow. Now me and my family go without food on a Saturday night. Thanks alot…

Literally the worst chicken tikka kebab I've ever had. Not only did they get the order wrong in the first place that I couldn't make any more clear that I wanted no bread they still gave me bread. Thanks for ruining my evening I will coming here again. The chicken tasted shocking with no flavour and extremely dry too. Avoid this place at all costs.

Order of six pounds was met with NO GO WITHOUT CASH so..... As local as I am to these clowns.... I will certainly go elsewhere. curry Tonight in Castle Donington is really nice, infact there are so many great places to eat in CD, these aren't even my last choice anymore.

delicious, first stop after the pubs close, all the food from here is always great and also relatively cheap and if you go a lot you get to know the staff who are all lovely and very welcoming

Absolutely shocking delivery times. 1 hour and 40 minutes wait and my food has still not arrived.....fast food I think not. Please do not waste your time ordering with these. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

Terrible and rude I spent £30 on a order for them to get it wrong, when I called them back the guy tried to blame me for telling him my order wrong. They were rude and the food was cold. I’d recommend you to use someone else if our trying t get food late or check your delivery before you pay the driver.

Fish and chips are the best here pizza is well made never tried it so won't say how it is but chips and fish is the best

Castle Pizza is our local chip shop so we go there often, its quick and easy service although sometimes your order is cold and they once tried to overhcarge me, although the people there have amazing service and will always greet you with a smile and chat to you whilst your order is being prepared!

Always on time and has plenty of different food to choose from, always yummy. The kebabs are the best especially with a naan

We got a delivery tonight and our food was all cold dont under stand as it's always been hot not very happy

Ordered from here loads in the past and enjoyed it but last night the pizzas were cold we had a bone in some mince and gristle in another piece of mince, not impressed at all but will give you the benefit of the doubt and give you one last chance.

Placed an order for £9 including delivery, gave address and was told its £13 delivery for my work place bc it's not local even tho it's less than 5 mins away, asked why they were ok delivering for £9 before I gave my work address and they said "it's just the way it is" Day light robbery

Ordered a takeaway over the weekend and we were told it would take approximately 45 mins to arrive. At 1 hour 15 I rang up to see where it was and they assured me it was on it's way. The food eventually arrived 15 minutes later and I could tell straight away that our order must have been the last to be delivered because the pizza boxes were nearly cold. On opening up all our food we noticed they had forgot one of our burgers so I had to ring back to get that re-delivered. The guy on the phone was very rude and they refused to give any sort of compensation, not even a free pizza seeing as the ones we'd been given were cold. I definitely won't be using these again, hopefully dominos puts them out of business.

Ordered five or six times from this place and they got the order wrong EVERY SINGLE TIME! I gave them the benefit of the doubt because they were delivering and didn't make a fuss. Tonight was the final straw. Once again they got the order wrong (does anybody at Castle Pizza know how to read) I called them once again to inform them of their error and the person that took the call assured me they would re-deliver within 15 minutes. 45 minutes later still nothing, our night was pretty much ruined, so I called again to speak to the manager. After being passed around between people who couldn't speak English, I finally got through to the person who professed to be the Manager, and his exact reply was: " I don't care, bring it back." Very professional! He also refused to give me his name. Says it all really. I'm sure locals will still use this poor excuse of a take-away, but I have found it to be one of the worst I have ever used. They didn't even offer a refund. Complete amateurs, they seem more like a bunch of gangsta rappas than a professional fast food outlet. AVOID!

We visited on Saturday night for a take away. Good choice on offer. Freshly prepared food, good portion size and excellent value for money. Warm, friendly welcome. Will definitely visit again.

Lovely pizza, toppings are plenty and really good, not to greasy and always crispy, delivery never late, and i think only place that delivers to airport and surrounding warehouses. Managed to deliver massive orders whilst still keeping in warm. (over 10 12in pizzas) Kebabs are massive and super tasty! Can safetly recommend to pizza lovers!

Cold, vile food, arrived late and the delivery driver was rude. I phoned to query this with Castle Pizzas I was told "we are busy what do you expect" just plain unprofessional will NOT order again.

Tiny little shop in Donington back street. Huge portions of tasty and piping hot food. Top place if you're really hungry and not really fussy :) Hidden gem!

Rang for a burger and chips was told be half hour to 45 mins after an hour still not turned up so wen I rang got told will be another 15 to 20 mins they argued that they didernt tell me that so they turned and said they are canceling my order and spoke to me very rude so ended up ordering further a field and was with me in 20mins. Puts the castle pizza to shame not be ordering with them again.

Kids had fries. X2 chicken nuggets and burger and Fries and mum had a fish they were ants cooked in to the fries and on the fish have photo evidence kids took 2 chips back that had ants on them they said there not from here wth I had brought them 5 minutes before. So please check your food before eating the food went in the bin didn't even ask for a refund so why they say there not from there is a joke discusting I will never go there again

Very small pizza house/chip shop but a very nice place, very friendly staff and owner who get to know the regulars and strike up a conversation, the potato fritters are to die for, the chips and fries are amazing, kebabs are good too, very fast turn around of food, very cheap, clean, by far my favourite chip shop with good food for when you've left the pub stays open till gone midnight most nights very nice and accommodating place.

My step son loves the pizzas and I like the mixed kebabs. Not first choice for a curry but the Keema rice is usually lovely but today it tasted strange no spice or chilli meat not cooked enough weird slimy onions in it a shame when something you usually love is no good. Its your luck on what you get but its always delivered hot and quick.

Had a great chicken tikka kebab from castle pizzas, came with salad, sauces and a nan bread. I had a small and that was too much for me. My other half had a cheese and tomato pizza with donna kebab and green chillies ... hot, hot, hot and very tasty!!! Would definitely recommend castle pizzas for great takeaway foods 😋

My partner visits castle pizzas regularly and gets takeaway with work friends, I don't go quite so often but when I do the cheesy chips are great, and all the staff are lovely!

Me and some guys at the airport were working late and needed a pick me up so I recommended Castle Pizza. It went down well would definitely return.

Last couple of takeaways have been appalling!! Nice long black hair in this week's kebab (I'm blonde) won't be ordering again. Don't know what's going off with the place but use to be nice but not anymore!!!

Only bought fries once,very cold and not even fresh,looks like they were using them throughout the day and just keep on adding.

I'm not sure what sort of takeaway this is. They have a large menu of kebabs, Indian food, fish and chips to freshly baked pizzas. I went with the garlic chilli chicken and rice. I'm usually okay with spicy, but this was very spicy. So if you're looking for something spicy to absolutely burn your mouth out, definitely go for this. It was full of flavour but just too spicy for me. We shared a garlic bread between us which was freshly baked and it was delicious. My partner had a chicken burger and he couldn't eat it. He is rather picky anyway but it wasn't up to his standards. I didn't try it so I cannot comment on that. Although I mentioned that they do wide variety of different foods, I think this is more of an Indian takeaway. Overall, between a 19 month old toddler and my partner and I, we've spent a little over £30 which I thought was ridiculous. It certainly wasn't worth the money but that is just my opinion. I would still encourage people to give it a try to make their own minds up.

Chicken Tikka kebab and chips for £6.30, very tasty chicken Tikka with onions, lettuce and cabbage with garlic mayo on(lots more would have been even better), chips were very nice, value for money, give them a try you won't regret it

Have bought takeaways from here several times and never been disappointed. Had kebabs which are generous pizzas, curry sauces and onion bhajis from here as well as the usual chips or fries. Always enjoyed the food and found it reasonably priced.Service friendly.

Had a pizza delivered last night, we were staying in the days inn, it was one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten, just a shame you aren't in the town I live although the pizza could tempt me to move.
