Quaint restaurant that is a bit old in terms of furnishings - charming. Food solid and tasty, but nothing exceptional. Service very good. It is possible to play billiards or darts.

Nice restaurant/bar! Fast service, friendly staff and above all very good Fish & Chips served generously! Little extra: a billiards table in the center of the room, a positive point for having a nice time with friends or family but to be avoided if you like peace and quiet.

Portion was pretty generous and price is not too bad considering it is in isle of skye. Probably the only decent place to get food within the walking distance of that area.

A nice place with a good atmosphere. Most of the staff was friendly though one was a bit more rude with tourist like us. Service at the bar. We didn't try the food as there was no langoustine at that time and that's what we were aiming for thanks to other's picture. Great view on the bay.

Finally, a tasty meal in Scotland without chips! I had the haggis, and it was really good! The staff, particularly the woman who served me, was very kind and attentive. The chocolate cake was also delicious. I highly recommend it!

The place is perfect for those looking for something informal, to eat and drink a beer.

The setting is very good, the view too. Unfortunately, is it because we do not speak English fluently, we waited 1h15 to get 2 fish and chips when other customers, who arrived much later, were served very quickly Too bad because there isn't much choice here for dining in the evening.

Very deceptive as does not look promising from outside. However, well worth a visit with a good range of home cooked food and excellent service. We only had a sandwich but other food looked good.

Loveless cuisine and that's what the dishes look like. Restaurant is subtly exaggerated, more of a warm snack.

This was the first place we came upon after crossing into Skye. The place is very old fashioned but has a good range of options. The staff were a little abrupt and not very welcoming however the food was good

Stopped here for lunch which was very good. Soup and chips all lovely washed down with a refreshing beer. Great views of the Skye Bridge too from this restaurant.

Really enjoyed our lunch, soup was really tasty and good burger options too. Staff were all very attentive and welcoming.

We are on a coach trip with Lochs and Glens so only wanted a light snack had cullen skink. Absolutely gorgeous .

The place was empty when I visited so was lucky to get food quickly. Unfortunately the steak pie meal was just OK, don't know what the purple mush was beside it (seasonal veg??) and the mash was looking old. It gets really busy as bus loads visit so will just leave it to them and go somewhere else next time.

I opted to try the vegan haggis which was okay. Edible but nothing extraordinary to report back. Nice views of the water though

While this place isn't new and shiny - a little worn down, in fact - it was a nice surprise. Here were our thoughts: Firstly, there was room at this pub and once full, people were encouraged to wait instead of turned away, like lots of other places. Second, we were greeted and seated by a kind, thin man who checked in on us throughout the meal and helped us with the "self service" portion. He, along with the other staff really cared. Third, the food was quite good. We're not talking about anything too intense or fancy, just basic pub seafood mostly, but the execution looked like it had an x-factor. Lastly, prices weren't extortionate. This is always an issue in tourist areas but fair pricing indicates a respect for the customer. I think this place does that well. Overall, I recommend this if you're on the area.

The food was not that good, but that might just be British cuisine. The service was good and I like how you can pay ahead of your meal, so you can just leave when you're done.

Great food - super fresh seafood - probably the best fish and chips around. The Chicken Katsu curry was superb, they often have good soup options as well.

A stop for snack and drink as part of a coach tour. Obviously a regular stop just to say the tourists have visited Skye. There is so much more to this island well worth seeing.

Didn't have any food here but oh my, it's an amazing place to have a pint. A very good pint at that.

Buen sitio para comer sin gluten. Viajamos a Skye sin ninguna esperanza de encontrar opciones seguras. Pero este restaurante tiene etiquetadas las opciones en el menu de la entrada. El Fish and chips es sin gluten. Para los postres no hay mucha variedad pero el brownie con helado de vainilla está muy bueno.

Well... starring because there we had probably the best mussels that we have ever had. Langustini also got out attention, they were with the carlic butter. If you think about quality of food and drinks available, this is really good choice. Not too fancy because it is kind of pub. Order from the bar desk and then food is served on tables.

Absolutely an amazing experience at Castle Moil Restaurant. We walked in the last hour before closing time and the staff welcomed us in and were really friendly. We quickly ordered and our food & drinks came swiftly. The langoustines tasted SO good! And, they are better value than the other ones at restaurants in the same area- I know their menu probably changes with time, but we were given 10 very large langoustines for £22 (in other restaurants that usually gave us around 6 of them for that price). They were already cracked open which was easier than having to pull the tail off each one. Lovely selection of local ales and the Sticky Toffee Pudding was heavenly. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant on our next trip to Skye!

The food is pretty great but service is less enthousiastic - not easy to get a hand on a waiter, it’s a fight to get a menu and finally depressing once you get the information that you need to order at the bar.

L'accueil est très sympa. C'est une ambiance de petit restau sans prétention. On se sert comme dans un self. J'ai été un peu déçu par la cuisine : j'ai pris le tajine végétarien, qui ressemblait plus à une sorte de ratatouille sans saveur particulière.

Great little shop that has all the essentials for food you could need. It has fresh food as well as canned and even some frozen items. Has a good selection of ready to eat sandwiches and other stuff. Also has a good number of souvenirs to choose from. I definitely recommend popping in for a visit.

Waren gegen 19:30 vor Ort. Es wurde darauf hingewiesen, dass zum außen Essen an der Bar zu bestellen und zahlen sei. Innen wurden wir ganz regulär an einen Tisch gebracht und erst nach 20 Minuten darauf hingewiesen, dass auch wir an der Bar ordern müssten. Und just in diesem Moment beschloss die Küche dicht zu machen, weil zuviel los sei. Maximale Enttäuschung.

Essen war sehr gut, etwas teuer aber die Kellner waren sehr nett.
