We chose Delta Hotel by Marriott Forest of Arden Country Club to spend a very pleasant weekend. We had a wonderful experience from the Restaurant Cast Iron Bar&Grill. What needs to be mentioned is the behavior of the restaurant manager Mathew and assistant manager Aslam towards the customers. They were so humble and ready to help the customers to get a comfortable environment. And their team members are also to be commended.The food was fresh and delocious. The buffet option is also available from 6pm on Saturday's . We really enjoyed the food and its ambience. A must visit place for families and couples.

Quite decent overall. It’s certainly not a restaurant I’d make a trip to go to just for itself, but if you’re here, it’s quite nice to not have to go and find food elsewhere for breakfast or dinner. The steaks are definitely their best mains, and pretty decent prices.

Sat in the Cast Iron restaurant now. Just had two wonderful plates of food served by Victor. Very confused by the reviews on here. The atmosphere is great. Plenty of space, lovely service with a smile, going above and beyond. Thank you!

Terrible experience. A quiet Monday night with 1 waiter per 2 tables and the service was still desperate. A couple opposite our table left because they had to wait ages for menus, they messed up one of our starters, the manager had no social skills, the majority of waiters didn't seem to have a clue what they were doing. We witnessed 3 other tables complain about the service also. And to top it off the food was average and the steak was cold.

Very poor! Bar menu very limited, service extremely slow, loads of staff on but no organisation. Such a shame has loads of potential. Think the Marriott bosses would be gutted if they could see how poor it is. Definitely not one to recommend.

The review is going to be short - The experience was - sheer disgust and disappointing. That’s what one feels when you find a hair in one of the desserts! And to top it - the manager offers you a free pint for washing it down 😕 The excuse provided is even worse - to quote the manager - “we order these cakes from an external vendor and hence quality is not controlled….” Certainly not expecting this in a #Marriott #property. Expect more from #Marriott on hygiene and quality in these #Pandemic times!

As soon as you see the sign "No WiFi just talk to one another" you know you're in a traditional pub. A good range of Ale, keg beer and Lager available. There's also an extensive menu of traditional pub food. Our group had Fish and chips, Scampi and the pie was all delicious. Our little ones enjoyed their Fish finger and chips too. Its setting by a lock on the canal is interesting for young ones too. Luckily a local steam engine club popped in to make it a special visit.

We waited for over 10 minutes to be served but nobody was there. We could hear people talking/calling from the back room. We had to leave without being served. Will not be returning.

Possibly the most rude and arrogant barista I've ever come across. I asked for a pistachio latte which was admittedly unavailable, and the guy said in an awful tone "we've not got that!!" Whilst looking at the door and completely blanking me. Didn't ask for what else I'd like, and when I decided on a caramel machiatto, just said "yep" and got the price up for the contactless payment. Didn't ask if I wanted a receipt (which I needed for expenses) or ask if I wanted cream (which I did want, but didn't get). He was also rude to my colleague who spoke to him. This was on the early evening of Friday 14th February 2025. The barista was tall, had dark hair, glasses and a short to medium length beard. I would seriously consider looking into his attitude and behaviour when serving customers because he is clearly in the wrong job with ZERO customer service capabilities.

Been stood here for about 10 mins whilst writing this review currently watching not one but three members of staff completely ignore me. Didn't even get a "I'll just be two seconds" just completely blanked :)
