Casereccio in Hounslow

I visited Caserrecio over the weekend with my husband and son. The decor and feel of the interior are lovely and rustic, makes you forget you’re in the U.K. Suzanne and Nicole were welcoming and were quick to attend to us and identify suitable options as I am vegetarian. We enjoyed a nice conversation with Suzanne and she spoke about her husband, Livio’s Sardinian background. The food was delicious and service was exceptional. There was a steady flow of clients coming in to collect their takeaway orders so it was evident to see they are busy and their food is liked! I would highly recommend visiting Caserrico for an authentic Italian meal.

Este lugar es un pequeño y encantador restaurante familiar en la zona de Acton. Hemos estado aquí un par de veces, el servicio es fantástico y la comida es la comida italiana que he tenido. Caserrecio es probablemente el mejor restaurante italiano de Londres (y no creo que haya probado mejor en Italia). Livio, Suzanne y Nicole son muy acogedores y es un verdadero negocio familiar. El menú es sencillo, solo pizza y pasta, pero contiene delicias como ravioles de jabalí, queso de cabra y ñoquis de nueces, y la más ligera y sabrosa pizza Sorrentina. La decoración es acogedora y auténtica, y la pasión sarda de Livio por la cocina es evidente en cada bocado.

Olivio, the owner, and his family are welcoming. They have a variety of Italian food on the menu, gelato, home made deserts, imported Italian wines and beers and also a selection of Italian products to sell. The setting is casual and prices reasonable.

We love going to this Italian restaurant, such a convienient location and affordable prices. We love the pizza and pasta, so lucky to live so close by.

Estaba pasando por ese lugar para encontrarme con un amigo y pensé ¿por qué no? Muy feliz de ir allí. El lugar no es nuevo pero el ambiente allí es sorprendente. El dueño es excelente. Incluso si estaba ocupado, hablaba con todas las mesas:) lo que es genial. La comida es muy buena, tuvimos ensalada y pizza Diavola. ¡El mejor Spritz de Aperol! Lo recomendaré y volveremos.

No conocemos Londres en absoluto y estábamos conduciendo a Acton y todos muy hambrientos cuando decidimos que a todos nos gustaba el italiano. Mi esposa vio las ventanas empañadas y, por cualquier motivo, le habló. Realmente no sabíamos qué esperar, ya que Casereccio no se veía 'elegante', pero se veía increíblemente encantador y eso era exactamente lo que era.El propietario y su hija no podrían haber sido más serviciales o amables con nosotros y nuestros dos hijos. Ofrecieron consejos sobre los elementos del menú y fueron informativos sobre los ingredientes regionales. Nos sentimos como en casa de inmediato, como si hubiéramos estado yendo allí durante años. De hecho, tuvimos un día realmente difícil y, sin saberlo, realmente ayudaron a que nuestro fin de semana fuera un gran comienzo. Un hygienic horrible service. Food was alright but don’t recommend at all. Also service times where awful.

As many locals may have done, we have walked past this restaurant many times without going in over the last six years. We decided on a whim to try it out last night and we were not disappointed!!! Really good authentic Italian food, great ingredients and fabulous pizza! I mean really fabulous!!!!We were greeted with a warm welcome from Nicole, our waitress/front of house. Nicole really looks after the entire restaurant while her dad creates all the food. It's a lovely family run business and Nicole is key to delivering the great customer service that the customers experience in the restaurant.All our food was delicious and very good value for money. The wines were very reasonably priced and great wines.We will not be hesitating in recommending this restaurant to all our friends, family and neighbours. We shall return soon!

Excellent food by the family run restaurant. We got a piping hot authentic margarita pizza. My son and I loved it thoroughly after a visit to the nearby Transport depot. Something to look forward to in Acton.

Had a great meal here on a Friday evening. Nicole was a really friendly and attentive waitress (thank you!) and the owner came to have a chat with us as we ate. Great wine, nice food and a really relaxed family atmosphere. Will be coming back regularly!

We were seduced by the 5 star Tripadvisor reviews, fancied an Italian meal, so gave Casereccio a whirl. Prices were good, house wine at £13.95 very acceptable, and the staff absolutely lovely. The Patron, thru and thru Italian, wandered around the tables, having a chat- it was just like being in a restaurant in rural Italy Unfortunately the food was decidedly average, lacking in herbs, spices, and garlicHey ho, and enjoyable night, and we didn’t leave hungry- but I wouldn’t rate this restaurant for a special or memorable night out- you win a few, you lose a few

The food and wine there is really tasty and the portion was huge. Also atmosphere is like you are in Italy.

Generalmente no soy una persona de pizza. . . pero este chico realmente hace una buena pizza italiana auténtica. Paré con mis dos hijas pequeñas y lo devoraron. ¡Podría decir que lo disfrutaron ya que estaban callados! ! ! ! ! ! ! El servicio fue excelente. Mi amigo vive cerca, así que definitivamente volveré aquí.

Always enjoy this place, really nice genuine service, and great food, pasta and specials are varied and different (pretty big portions too) but the pizzas are delicious and where this place excels. Unpretentious, good for family and just a nice all round meal every time.

Nous étions logés dans le quartier et nous y sommes allé pour le souper. Nos pizzas étaient excellentes et le personnel très sympathique. Nous n’aurions pu choisir mieux comme endroit afin de prendre notre premier repas lors de notre visite à Londres. Nous recommandons cet endroit à tous ceux qui ont envie d’une bonne pizza italienne. Die Einrichtung des Restaurants wirkt etwas zusammengewürfelt, ist dadurch aber auch urgemütlich.

Not your usual restaurant. If you like minimalist aesthetic or nouvelle cuisine - go somewhere else. If you want to enjoy great lashings of tasty authentic Sardinian cuisine with a great host this is the place. We had a wonderfully entertaining evening.

We went to try some real Italian food.. We went in the wrong place!! The carbonara had some scrambled eggs inside.. The only thing nice in the place is the friendly owner!

Since we were passing by car through Acton Town me and a friend of mine stopped to Casereccio for lunch. It was a lucky finding. The place was very spacious and welcoming. We had pizza which was very good and so was the wine and coffee. It's a nice place for an informal relaxing meal or a snack given the fact that it's not very expensive either.

I've been a few times to Casereccio, with friends and on my own. It's really nice place to eat. The owner/chef is really friendly. The food is very nice, good portions and quality. Proper Mediterranean style. The owner is from Sardinia and there are some products from there in the restaurant, which is also a shop (selling Italian products). I recommend the Malloredus al pesto or Gnocchetti Sardi (if he got at that time). I've tried also the pizza which is amazing. Proper Italian pizza. Apart from typical Italian beers like Peroni or Moretti, I recommend to drink Ichnusa, a beer from Sardinia. You might need to wait a bit to be served, because usually it's the owner the only one attending, but it is worthy. Even more because in the meantime your meal come, the chef offers you for free an aperitif (olives and bread with olive oil). And everything comes with a smile and a friendly conversation from the owner. If you are Mediterranean you will feel like at home. :)

Simplemente gran comida y ambiente italiano. Visita aleatoria mientras se encontraba en la zona: las críticas sobre TA salieron bien, pero este lugar era una joya. Simplemente un gran ambiente y el propietario (asumido) fue muy amable y nos hizo sentir parte de la familia. La comida era estupenda, pizza simplemente impresionante. ¡Altamente recomendado! Volveremos cuando sea posible.

La comida en Casereccio es lo mejor de la cocina italiana casera rústica: los raviolis de jabalí y los raviolis de trufas son especialmente sublimes. Gran selección de vinos también - para el Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. El propietario super amable y carismático Livio te hace sentir como en casa en un ambiente muy relajado. Una verdadera joya escondida local.

After living in the area for a few months, myself and my partner decided to try out the local restaurants. We saw this place and looks very cosy and indeed it was. The owner is very friendly, comes over to talk to you and gives expert knowledge on what wine is best and about what good cheese they have. Shame they had run out of lasagna, but will be back to try that. £25 for two people for a meal and drinks plus real homemade Italian food? I will be definitely coming back again!

We went on a Sunday night, the hospitality has been fantastic , great home made tortelli , we had the wild board and the mushroom one , you could feel they have been prepare on house and not the usual frozen stuff they serve in many restaurant , a fantastic Montepulciano bottle and a pack of pan di stelle which I took home ( my favourite biscuits, you should try them )

Stop in to enjoy a wonderful meal. The owner is very charismatic and will treat you as if you were in his home. Homemade dough, fresh sauce, lovely salad and excellent pizza.

Quizás un poco desorganizado, pero el dueño, Pasión y actitud es livio la mejor manera en la ciudad de Acton. Revisé todos los comentarios y estoy bastante sorprendido con los malos. Si alguien lo sabe él y su restaurante, sabe que es un lugar precioso, con muy buena comida, servida con amor.

Traditional Italian restaurant serving delicious pasta and pizza. Every time we go to Casereccio we’re made to feel at home and immediately relax. The owner is a real character and really makes the restaurant! The food portions are very generous, the dessert (tiramisu and white chocolate profiteroles) is so good and I’d really recommend a bottle of the montepulicano is fantastic. Two mains, two desserts and a bottle of wine comes to around £50!

Unfamiliar with the area, and popped in on Friday evening for an hour to have a drink and catch up on emails while my daughter was hockey training nearby. Will definitely visit again when in the area, the Sicilian owner was very friendly and welcoming, as were the other staff, and you could see the other diners were regulars, always a good sign - a great place!

How have I missed this Italian Place right by Acton Town tube? The answer is that it is in a very unprepossessing parade and it never crossed my mind anything good would be here.

And as for the chef and the service, what can I say!? As always, super friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Great music, too. Ad Acton Town trovi un angolo italiano in cui ti puoi sentire a casa. Ottimi i ravioli e i dolci. Atmosfera semplice e familiare. Prezzi giusti. Consigliato.

It's a very old fashioned restaurant but the owner was so nice and although a limited menu the food was good. Would recommend it for a cheap friendly meal.

Desde Acton no es realmente un lugar para visitar en Londres, usted necesita tener un propósito de ir allí. ¿Por qué no a visitar este lugar muy agradable para un almuerzo ligero? Las raciones son buenas, las ensaladas son muy agradable, el vino es excelente y el helado es casero. Y está llena de historias de Livio sobre su territorio y le gusta charlar con la gente. El lugar está al lado de la estación de metro Acton Town, que incluso en un día lluvioso, es fácil llegar allí y almuerzo en un ambiente hogareño.

Estoy sorprendido y desorientado que este lugar recibe buenas críticas de personas seriamente necesita salir más si piensan que este lugar es bueno. No es bueno! La comida es mediocre (sus entradas y la comida llegó al mismo tiempo). El servidor no aviso. El chico que nos atendió no sabía el menú. Tuve que indicar a la Caprese en el menú. Fue un poco caótico. Tomaron los menús antes de que había pedido. La lasaña de carne tenía muy poco. En el oeste de Londres tiene montones y montones de restaurantes, así que vete a otro sitio. El propietario estaba bien, pero no compensa una mala experiencia en general.

Casereccio has the food, vibe and the character to stand firmly on its pedestal as a top Italian restaurant. The service was fantastic and the owner, Levio will leave you laughing and thoroughly well fed. Will definitely be going back here a second time - I suggest you try it out too.

First time here. So, food... amazing. And the vibe inside brilliant. But what stands out is the fact everyone is happy and comfortable. You soon realise why. The owner, Levio, is the best character i've seen working behind a restaurant/bar in years! He knew everyone in there, and he made sure he knew us by the time we left. We felt like we were part of the family in there and we don't even live anywhere near this place! I'd give this place 6/5 if I could!

We came here for lunch before visiting the nearby London Transport Museum Depot. A very warm friendly welcome from the owner. We both ate gnocci with walnut and gorgonzola which was delicious.

Don't ever come here if you want food that is flavoursome, tasty and delicious. It dose not exist at Casereccio. From the mains to the desserts you will find nothing but woeful excuses for a meal. How this place has excellent reviews is a mystery to me. This place is simply an insult to Italian food. Do yourself a favour and go to the Sainsbury's local a few doors down. Their Italian microwave range beats this place hands down.

I have visited Casereccio many times and I am always in love with the interior and the food! I would highly recommend trying Spaghetti Carbonara and pasta's that are offered in the menu

We found this lovely, wonderful little restaurant after a visit to the London Transport Museum Depot which is only open a few times a year (the main museum is somewhere else) Great,delicious, food, served much like in small restaurants in Italy.

We were on a one-night stopover in London & needed a place that served good food and allowed dogs! Casereccio's did just that. Very friendly staff, especially the chef/manager who introduced himself to each member of our party, including the dog. The pizzas were authentic and delicious, as was the lemon mascarpone cheesecake. My daughter was very pleased to find somewhere that served a vegetarian calzone. The only disappointment was that my husband would have liked more meat in his lasagne! But otherwise, we had a really enjoyable evening.

Found this really authentic rustic Italian cafe. Popped in for a quick coffee.There were some amazing cooking smells coming from the kitchen. We asked what it was he was cooking he said he was making a traditional authentic Italian dish that wasn't on the menu for one of his regulars, using fresh pasta spinach tomato and sausage.We ended up joining themIt was like being in Italy proper wholesome home cooked authentic Italian food.I recommend just going in and asking him to surprise you.Great placeExtremely friendly ownerOh forgot to mention the awesome hand made tirizamu ☕️❤️

A warm and welcoming place with good food at reasonable prices, that is recommended as a stop off as your Piccadilly line tube passes Acton Town.

Today I had the pleasure to eat lunch at the Casereccio family. The Truffle Ravioli were not from this planet and the Gnocchi were absolutely excellent. My boyfriend and I love the food at Casereccio and the "hygge" atmosphere. Every visit is beyond fantastic. Looking forward to come back asap. Highly recommend! Cheers. Madeleinex

Nice little restaurant near Acton Town station. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Complementary bread and olives were a kind treat. The owner also let me try a small zucchini savoury dish. The pasta was nice and filling. Highly recommend this place. True Italian experience.

Ate here about once a week when living locally and still miss it! The owner Livio is a talented chef and a lot of care and passion goes into his food. I once asked about the tomato sauce on his pizzas (which is delicious) and he was immensely proud to tell me about the time and effort that goes into making it. The pastas here are also good, but the pizzas are exceptional. It's a lovely warm, friendly neighbourhood restaurant and thoroughly deserves good custom.

Livio (il padrone) è una persona molto simpatica e il cibo è buono. Sono stato a ceda da Casereccio due volte con 2 o 3 amici. L'ambiente è rilassante e vien voglia di fermarsi a lungo. Sembra di essere in un ristorante italiano in Italia. La pizza è buona anche se mi ha fatto venire un po' si sete. La pasta è buona e anche i dolci non sono niente male.Forza Livio!

Been there twice and have mixed feelings. First time, in October we were the only customers. The pizzas were divine and the owner very welcoming. The second time was just two weeks ago and I couldn't hide my disappointment. I could accept the waiting time - the place was full but the pizzas were not up to standard.I may give them a go again but won't now praise them for the best pizza in town am afraid :/Attaching a photo from the last visit.

A fantastic surprise: a quick lunch turned into a lucky find just outside Acton Town underground station. I've walked past this place often but always on the way to somewhere else. Now I'll make it a destination in itself, either for an after work treat or a leisurely weekend lunch. The owner exudes warmth and the food and atmosphere make it seem like it is an island of Italy in west London. The pasta was great but the antipasti selection even better.

Great, friendly economical restaurant with good food, but let down by service. That's it. Sort the service out during busy times and this will be a real winner. As it is today, service is generally slow and chaotic (very Italian) and the dishes need to come within a reasonable timeframe and courses for a group should come together. apart from that everything else is good and I know this place is better when its not peak times.

How do I start. Upon our first visit we were greeted by the dynamite waitress Bianca who took our order and served our wine as if it were the only thing in the world that mattered. This family run restaurant run by Livio provided that homely feel that is only found by those who are truly genuine. Now onto the food. Holy crumpets. We ordered the ciabatta and antipasti which certainly was a lick of true Italian. For the main we ordered the veggie dishes... We already had high expectations and needless to say it that it blew us away. It was simply wonderful, no more need be said. After our meal the owner came and chatted to us, it took no time to tell that he was truly passionate about what he did and you could tell from the food that he wasn't telling us a lie. Our following visit exceeded the first. We had suggested a dip, to which Livio had bread prepared for us to construct the perfect combination for him to sample after work, and potentially add to the already fantastic menu. We are not chefs by any means but we just. love. pizza. It was an unexpected gem to find in the heart of Acton Town. Could not recommend a better restaurant.

Loved by locals, with good reason.Excellent wine list (no cheap stuff). Very hospitable staff & the feeling that you are in an 'authentic' Italian restaurant. The guys making the pizzas are seriously good and the ingredients are the freshest. Peculiar requests do not faze them here. One of the friends I was with wanted a pasta dish with prawns in a cream sauce. The waiter winced (with good reason!), but accommodated all the same!They also do takeaway.Been a couple of times & can't wait to go back.

Following all the good reviews on here a group of 5 of us decided to give it a try. The place was practically empty and we served by a young lad, giving the feel of a family-run establishment. There were 3 waiters; 2 young lads and one adult. Food was ordered and the adult gave useful advice on the dishes we ordered. A complimentary (I assume) plate of cold garlic bread bites was offered before one person got his main dish. After a little wait two more dishes appeared, and they could be seen finished and waiting for a few minutes in the kitchen. But ... The remaining two dishes finally appeared something like an hour after the first dish. Complaints were made during that interval and assurances were given that the remaining dishes would arrive, although from the look of the open-plan kitchen nothing had been started. It wasn't as if the place was very busy!I had spaghetti bolognese, which I found to be watery and slightly vinegary - not impressed.Finally, we asked for the bill, more than once, and when it arrived it was wrong!!! After some negotaitions a discount was offered for all the trouble and wait. That was good, but throughout all of this no one seemed very bothered that we had been kept waiting, or even aware that we were, and that's where the 'service' fell to pieces, leaving an unpleasant memory of the place. If they had been really busy the ignorance of our situation might have been understandable.

Having a Pizza, calzone or Pasta, with a nice italian Flair the food tastes really good. I recommend it! Friendly staff!

Looking for a place to eat nearby, we chose Casereccio there wasn't much choice. Firstly the welcome was Italian warm. We sat outside, ordered pasta and it was excellent. The owner, Livio joined us for a chat and we could have been in Rome. The interior is a little bit of Rome too. What a surprisingly lovely experience near Acton Town station, food, friendliness, hospitality; what more could you ask.

From the outside it doesn't look great however you must try this place, the food is amazing if you like authentic Italian food.The mixed salad was brilliant and penne pasta was great.Chef/ owner came out after we ate and asked if we enjoyed and said was it like a little trip to Italy, the answer yes it was !

Visited the place as staying in DoubleTree in Ealing based to Tripadvisor reviews. And what a pleasant experience it was!! Service is amazing making a really nice environment and pizza great! If you like a piece of Italy to your life - this is your go to place!

A great restaurant. Visiting from Oz, the three of us gave it a shot because there wasn't much else. But the owner is fantastic (Paul) especially if you want to know about Sardinia!!!! Quiet Sunday lunch. Welcoming. Pizza was good. Salad good as well. The vegetarian aubergine dish was a bit disappointing. But otherwise ideal in a pleasant atmosphere.

I have dined in this Italian restaurant a few times and have always had a great evening. The food is great and the owner is a lot of fun. Great place to practice your Italian and spend an evening. They are also dog friendly

I simply love this restaurant (been 3-4 times now). The food is always delicious, freshly prepared, you can watch the chef making the pizza dough. I really should know his name by now, my bad, he's friendly and welcoming. Will make an effort to visit more often.

Great owner who makes you feel extremely welcome, food is fantastic and incredibly priced. It's a proper family run place, don't expect silver service but that's the true Italian way.I'm giving it 5 stars and I would give it 6 if I could despite some errors when we've been there, including trying to charge us £30 extra on the card machine (but it was clearly an honest mistake, we all make them) and consistently serving warm presecco so we have to keep asking for a wine cooler....but it all adds to charm.Just go to this place, you'll fall in love with it like we have! :)

We go fairly frequently when we want good pizza, although I always ask for a spicy meat calzone - makes me happy for days! They never hurry you along so you can relax into your evening and enjoy your company.My boys are stuck on the Diavola pizza.
