Taco tuesday just got even better! Casazul is serving up amazing authentic taco in Brighton and I would definitely be recommending all locals and tourists to go visit if you have the chance! The tacos were extremely delicious especially paired with their homemade chilli oil! Will definitely be coming back when we visit Brighton again!

Super cute Mexican place. My friend and Iove coming for lunch on Taco Tuesday where you get 4 tacos for the price of 3 so we can share nicely. There are also great drinks and paletas to choose from.

We came across Casazul recently: only found out about it a couple of weeks ago. Tried one of the heat-at-home taco kits, which was a perfect, quick, midweek dinner. So glad to have found the place & will be back. Regularly.

As a vegan Mexican I’d say this is one of the best tacos I’ve had in my life. I’ve tried many tacos around the world but this ones are definitely on my top 3. Loved the vegan cochinita pibil and the vegan horchata. Now I live in Nz but when I go back to Brighton this is the first place I’m visiting.

We stopped in past this little restaurant for lunch while visiting Brighton for a long weekend in June. My fiance really loves authentic Mexican food, but we don't seem to find it so often. However, this place was wonderful! The restaurant itself is modest while the food is outstanding. We left with as many salsas as we could carry in our cases home! All freshly made at the premises. The passion for the food really shone through and they cater for Gluten Free, Vegetarian and Vegan. I would fully recommend visiting here to anyone who really enjoys authentic Mexican food. It's charming, and the owner, Gabriel, is very kind, passionate and knowledgable about the food. They also have fantastic values for sustainability (which is always a big plus for me).

Best tacos in Brighton along with some of the greatest customer service I’ve received! Highly recommend this place!!

Update: returned and thought I should update my review because this place is still just brilliant, most authentic in Brighton and reminded us of our trip to Yucatan. You really must stop here for lunch if you're visiting. Original: Food was delicious and a good value, staff were really friendly and we're happy to talk about the food on the menu. If you’re looking for the most authentic Mexican tacos in Brighton then look no further - Casazul is the real deal. They run a fairly small menu but I’ve tried everything on there and can confirm it’s all absolutely delicious. Great that they do meat and vegan options too. Gabriel is the guy who runs this place, and he’s so welcoming and passionate about his food. All in all one of my favourite food spots in Brighton.

What great tasting tacos. Wow!!!! But the real surprise came a little later. We bought some frozen Tamales so a day later, not much patience here, we tucked into Tamales. They were wonderful.

One of my favourite spots whenever I visit Brighton. The tacos are delicious and authentic. Always a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. If you are lucky enough to visit when they are serving tamales you have to try them!

We went to casa azul last Friday, great for both vegans and meat eaters, Gabriel was so helpful talking us through the spice level and giving advice, and just really lovely to chat to. Amazing food and very lovely dining experience, would highly recommend!

Really enjoyed our meal at casa Azul. Definitely recommend the mole. But there's one thing you should order if you come here. Actually you should come here just to order it. It's their flan the queso. Mind-blowing. Service was great and the owner just lovely. They offer vegan options as well but I hope they'll start giving more options for the tacos. The tortillas were great

The most authentic Mexican food in England! Every dish is incredibly delicious and the staff are warm and friendly.

Genuine Mexican street food. Could do with a bit more of a tomato based salsa and a bit of lettuce but no problem with quality and flavour.

It is an informal little restaurant in Broghton's open market serving the best tacos in Brighton. Gabriel and his staff are incredibly friendly and the food is wonderful. Great for both meat, veggie and vegans with the best taco actually being the cauliflower one (who knew). Definitely worth the walk from the town centre!

Found this amazing little authentic Mexican place in the Open Market. Had the vegan cochinita with my son and we both loved it. Loved the pulled style oyster mushrooms and they put the red onions and the salsa on the side because of it being too spicy for my son. Lovely food and great service. Forgot to take a picture of our food haha.

Lovely place inside Brighton open market. The tacos were terrific. The flavour of the masa was brilliant! They also sell dried chilies (guajillo, adobo, ancho etc), condiments, and excellent blue corn soft taco shells for you to make your own stuff. The owners are engaging and the service is terrific!

Casazuls has a small but perfect menu of tacos with amazing flavours. This was the first time taking my partner to the restaurant. An experience that can be difficult for choice with her being vegan. Casazul did not dispoint her with choice or taste. She loved it. The food is not only great but backed with passionate service and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. It's no surprise that it was busy even for a weekday.

The most authentic tacos I have had in a long time. The owner makes the best homemade chipotle and many more sauces 🤌🏼🔥 everything is a must try in the house. So much love and flavor in every bite , this is a must visit if you’re in Brighton. The owner is super friendly and has given to me and my family a lovely experience trying real Mexican tacos 👏🏼

A place for people with really low standards. Their tacos were made so badly with the cheapest lavash from Poundland, so by the time you finish eating the first one, the other two would get soggy and fall on pieces, and charge £9 for that is an abomination. But it's not all, they don't have an order line so if you are lucky you get your order quickly, otherwise, you gonna wait forever, like me. “Funny” fact on the checkout I found out that I ate different tacos from what I ordered, as I asked about a missing ingredient. So sad to see so many good comments here, regardless of the staff trying to be nice their food is RUBBISH.

Owner is from Mexico City, great taste with authentic flavors, highly recommended the pork tacos. Also, a lot of Mexican ingredients for home cooking.

What a gem! I had the vegetarian mole tacos and they were absolutely fabulous. The spicy salsa is very hot, so use with care. The owner was kind and happy to explain the dishes in detail. This is easily the best Mexican food I’ve had in Europe - it’s worth going out of your way for.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and we were not disappointed! Owner is super friendly, food is well priced and sooo tasty. It's also dog friendly so your four legged friend doesn't gave to miss out. We will be back but with friends next time!

I first came here on a food tour - It was the first stop we went to and I couldn't stop thinking about it the whole rest of the tour. We were greeted by the owner, and his incredible knowledge of the origins of the food he was presenting painted an beautiful picture. I could really tell that he cared about ever detail of his menu. I returned since, and I plan to return again. My personal favourite was the vegan mule tacos, and the sauces that come with every taco are such a wonderful flavour experience. The drinks made and served here are excellent. I made sure to bring home a bottle of horchata after I'd finished. Excellent portion sizes, and really friendly staff. Definitely leapt to the top of my list of places to eat out in Brighton

My favourite Mexican in Brighton! So fresh and tasty and the happiest and friendliest staff. They sell imported Mexican groceries and Gabriel always helps me with tips and recipes on how to cook things at home. Highly recommend :)

It's probably true that good, proper Mexican food is rare in the UK let alone Brighton, but lucky for us Casazul is the real deal. A decent sized but not overwhelming menu with as many vegan/veg options as meat (thank you!) and each dish formed of simple yet perfectly flavoured ingredient pairings. The setting is small but very welcoming and the staff are really great. The bossman was lovely; great to talk with and happy to answer pretty much any question you have about Mexican food. There is also a great selection of Mexican ingredients and premade dishes available for sale so we left with some nice things for our own kitchen as well as having enjoyed a delicious lunch. Casazul is a place run by people who clearly know what they're doing and they do it very, very well. A proper gem.

My partner and I have to stop by Casazul at least once a month for the absolute BEST tacos on this side of the pond. I spent most of my childhood in New Mexico, and had given up on ever having proper, flavourful, Mexican food without a plane ticket… But Casazul more than makes up for the cravings! What a great surprise this was! Such beautiful and tasty food. So many flavours and you can totally tell this was made with passion. The owners was so friendly and we felt super welcome from the moment we approached the restaurant. Also, I got so excited when I saw they had Horchata! I can’t wait to try more from here! By chance, while seeking out some food for our family of 7, we chanced upon this absoulte diamond. Took a chance and it paid off. From youngest to oldest, the food was faultless. Simple but complex flavours. Just put a smile on everyones faces. Have been to many London based Mexican restaurants. They simply didn't get close to this family orientated gem. So, thank you. The friendly and amazing hosptality was an incredible bonus. We were day visitors to Brighton and our lasting memory will be this wondeful lunch. Thank you.

Me and my friend visited Casazul this morning for some vegan oyster mushroom tacos. We both agreed they were the best tacos we’ve ever had!! Love how everything is gluten free as well. The hospitality was amazing. Would absolutely recommend, can’t wait to go back!!
