Ate here while on a short trip in London. Food was of a decent standard and the upstairs surroundings pleasant. HOWEVER if they try to seat you in the basement, refuse. We were put there because it was busy. It is a souless pit. The floor is uneven so your tables constantly wobble. The music revererates around the walls and being away from the main part of the restaurant, the service is far less attentive. Worst of all, it stinks of paint. I assume this is a recent thing and hopefully temporary. Whoever decorated it has done an ambush makeover, even painting over the light-switches and sockets. A few items of cheap tat were arranged in an attempt to look rustic. It felt like a pop up restaurant challenge from The Apprentice. The paint fumes genuinely made me feel dizzy and the area is poorly ventilated. I had concerns about my young son who was with me (the restaurant also does not have a childrens menu and refused to do child portions). I asked to move a second time and did eventually get a seat upstairs thankfully. They need to wait till the paint fumes are gone or else someone is going to faint down there.

Quick service, great menu. Food was good. Annoyed that service was included in the bill rather than optional. Obviously a popular local spot.

A big thank you for a memorable evening. Excellent food and ambiance - a fantastic memorable family night out. We had a dish made for our daughter that was not on the menu but was delicious and fresh. The food was gloriously unique and tasteful. The service we received was of the highest standard, personable and professional and we can not say how impressed we were with both the food and staff. We would especially like to thank our waiter who was delightful, one of the best if not the best table service ever received.

Casa Tua in King's Cross offers a taste of authentic Italian cuisine in a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The menu features classic dishes prepared with high-quality, locally-sourced ingredients. Standouts include the hand-made pasta and the expertly grilled meats. Attentive service and an impressive wine list complete the dining experience.

After having a busy day working in the city, I returned to my hotel and started searching for a good Italian where I could get some pasta to satisfy my craving for carbs! Casa Tua seemed a popular choice and I was certainly not disappointed! Lovely little restaurant and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely gorgeous, with my carbonara being exactly what I was looking for! Cannot fault a single thing, thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will be back again!

See photo. This isn't a pizza. I would advertise it as something else. Whole load of uncooked veg/salad items plonked ok top. No cheese was melted. The tomato sauce tasted of carrot. It was huge and horrible. Gave some away to my companion. Oat milk coffee I had was tiny too for the price....like wtf. Staff were nice though. Nice place to look at but I came for the food. Sorry.

On arrivsl we were first interogated about our booking for 2 as we were not on the hand written list at the door. I had to open up my emails and confirm the date, time, location and name before they sat us down. We were still asked a couple of times if we were “sure” about our reservation. The table for 2 was in an awkward position inbetween the stairs and the kitchen where people kept running around us. They clearly tried to cram too many people in. What was worse was that when another table for 2 opened up next to us we asked if we could move to it to avoid being in the middle and we were told this was not possible. The table literally stood empty for 30 minutes next to us. They didn’t have one of the drinks we ordered and they forgot one of the mains. By the time we got their attention (40 mins after the first main), we were told the kitchen had not started the other main dish yet so we decided to cancel it and cut our losses. Even trying to get the bill meant multiple requests The restaurant is far too busy, far to too stressful. Will not return.

We were looking for somewhere near Kings Cross Station and found Casa Tua. It was quite busy and looked like it is popular with locals which is a good sign. The three of us had pizzas- the Calabrese and Marinara. They were the best pizzas we’ve had. Loaded with topping flavour and delicious flavour combinations. For pudding we had the home-made tiramisu, pistachio ice cream and the custard- filled pastry. Again, these were very tasty. We would definitely return here, particularly to try the pasta perhaps as there are interesting choices and other customers’ orders looked good! The reason for four rather than five stars is that the service tailed off between mains and pudding and we had to do a couple of reminders which when service is 13.5%, we felt that we shouldn’t have needed to. The man who liked like he might’ve been in charge was very friendly as we arrived and left.

We visited London for August bank holiday and was stuck on where to eat on the Sunday night.. as we were staying in the King's Cross area, we didn't want to travel back into the west end. We found this restaurant on here, had some great reviews and some mixed reviews.. we found the place really charming, small family run restaurant with a lovely atmosphere.. food was good, portion sizes ample, and reasonably priced. The menu does say to order 4 to6 mains for 2 people to share, we ordered one main dish each and was really full after. Worth the visit.

This place is just not good, sorry. I am Italian and a chef and I know what I am talking about. The carbonara you serve is overcooked, congealed and I have no idea what piece of meat you use for it, but it is certainly not cured 'guanciale' as the recipe requires. It is extremely salty and poor quality meat and it's very sad to see Italian food represented so badly. Same goes for the other dishes we tried, all average and lacking in authenticity. The wine list is embarrassing: the sparkling that you serve by the glass for £8 is probably what I would pay for 10 bottles of the same, which however I would never buy as it tastes nasty. I understand London rent is expensive and you have to make a profit, but frankly spending over £45 for such a poor quality dinner leaves you with a bitter taste in the mouth. I have no idea how this place can have good reviews. I suppose the only thing that keeps you open is the general ignorance of the local population about good food and Italian food in particular. Really sad to see places like this that have no love for good food and true Italian cuisine and are just used to make a profit at the expenses of people. The service was average too.

Wow!!!! The best hidden Gem I’ve ever stumbled across, Honestly I cant recommend this place enough, everything is freshly made, including the pasta, which is the best pasta I’ve eaten. The stand out dish for me was the one I ordered, the “Sausage Alla Tortellini”...

Family run cafe since 1981 in a lovely setting, we stopped only for afternoon tea but the food looked good. Friendly service.

A total rip off! Admittedly, this is a tapas bar so to be expected but the quantities served barely amount to £15 on the £75 menu, The presentation was certainly not refined to reflect the price, As for the desserts, nothing was fresh to the point that someone in our party even spat out the cheese cake, Just looking at the menu I did expect it to be disappointing and it lived to its expectations.

This is the first Italian deli in London. Great charcuterie and cheeses and coffee. There is also pizza and pasta. Very down to earth.
