Amongst the masses of coffee shops it's hard to find the good ones. Carve obviously have a love for making great coffee and this was clear from the black filter I ordered when I stopped for a mid bike ride caffeine boost.

I’d read this was the best place for coffee in Swanage but after trying it this weekend I have to disagree. Long wait once ordered, the cappuccino was tiny & both the latte and cappuccino were luke warm. The snickers traybake really just tasted of blended peanut butter. We’ll certainly be trying other places next time.

So Carve coffee now have an industrial unit on the hard standing below the amazing hungry shark on SWANAGE beach front. As locals we thought we would try coffee and cake. How many people does it take to order a coffee .. 4 apparently Person 1 takes your order. Person 2 (who clearly didn’t want to be there)writes your name on the paper cup. Person 3 makes the coffee. Person 4 puts it on a shelf at the end and shouts out your name to collect. There was no queue and still we needed to wait. The americano was ok not particularly tasty, the latte was lukewarm so we had to ask for another. Our cake was missing as was someone else’s (I believe this is persons 2job) so we had to go back and ask for it. We have been told in local publications this unit will be open until 10.00 pm I don’t think I have seen it open past 5pm and yesterday there was no sign of life at 3pm. I can’t believe this was the best proposal submitted to SWANAGE Town Council for the tender of the location in bringing something new, special and vibrant to SWANAGE. Have no idea how they will cope when it starts to get busy. Will not be using again.

Ordered some coffee upon a recommendation. Fast delivery which is always a bonus but the coffee was outstanding. If you are a coffee love then it’s worth giving this place a go. I’ll certainly be ordering my coffee from them in the future.

Great coffee, great location and relaxed atmosphere. I've been ordering the coffee online for a while but nice to have someone else make it!

Carve coffee is great, we have regular bean delivery for our coffee machine at home and most recently have been enjoying their freshly made coffee in Swanage. A hidden gem that's worth a trip to if you are in the area. Soph and Will offer a fantastic service and great cakes there too.

Love Carve, great range, relaxing courtyard, tip top brownies and smiling faces. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I sat indoors as it was a little windy and enjoyed a flat white on my day off. However I usually pop over on a working coffee break for that extra special coffee fix 😍

If you want a great coffee, then head here! Only place in Swanage to get a decent flat white! Cool spot with indoor and outdoor seating away from the hustle and bustle of Swanage high street. We had 2 coffees and 2 of the toasties, both excellent!!

It took me a long time to find coffee this good in Dorset but I’m glad I finally did. They have a blend to suit every pallet and the atmosphere of the place is fantastic too. The staff will help you pick the perfect coffee for you. The food was awesome as well.

At last, we have been visiting Swanage for over 30 years and the globe has always been one of our pubs of choice. It's been off the radar for the last two years or so BUT it's back, thanks to the locals for taking it on as a community pub project. We have recently been back in and it's back to the friendly welcoming family friendly pub, we went in Monday 19th August 24 and full of locals which we haven't seen for a long time. Beer etc back to a choice and all well looked after, as is the big back garden. Well done Swanage community, brilliant.

Overpriced, shabby decor.. abrupt waiting staff! Caesar salad had unwashed baby gem lettuce, very small portion served in a humongous dish that barely satisfied my hunger ( I’m a petite lady )

It's a real shame, it used to be a great friendly bar, but it's changed hands, some of the staff are rude. It's table service only and you can wait ages for to be served. If you approach the bar you are likely to be ignored. Loads of potential but let down.

Have been to this amazing pub when on holiday so many times, my favourite pub in the UK. Just finishing my craft cider after a lovely home made pasty, and sitting on the stone seats outside with husband and dogs. Bliss.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Really clean, modern rooms and great breakfast. Rooms are in a new building next to the pub. Free water bottles, tea and biscuits. Great place to stay if near Poole /catching ferry etc
