Terrific and unusually silky smooth latte from an independent coffee house . A bit of a find as it is hidden down a backstreet on the edge of the City

Esta pequeña cafetería en una de las calles más estrechas de Londres es un verdadero hallazgo. ¿Solo tiene capacidad para 8? Pero tuvimos suerte.

I work around the corner and come here everyday! I have tried various places close to this shop and can confidently say their flat whites are the best. What adds to the experience is the staff are friendly and helpful unlike many of the other “hipster” places near by.

Probably the best coffee house in the area. Staff are always friendly. Can get a little busy at times but staff always serving quickly - good Gluten free selection of snacks and also muffins etc. Afogata in Summer is a winner.

I tried this shop for the first time and was surprised how small it was. I ordered an iced latte and while I waited for it, I had a really interesting conversation about various types of coffee especially cold brewed ones, rhey also offer these. I enjoyed his experience from ordering until finishing my fabulous coffee.

My favourite coffee is a macchiato and this is the only coffee shop in the area that makes it correctly. Fabulous homemade cakes and friendly staff. Perfecto!

If you are looking for a REAL, excellent coffee, this is the place !!! It is a tiny shop (you might miss it even) but such lovely staff and a real excellent coffee, and by far better and more professional than the other choices around. Don't miss if you're staying in the area or visiting St. Paul's Cathedral. I opened every morning here .... Will definitely come back :-)

The Italian ladies who run this place provide a very good Italian style coffee. It is one of the better coffee shops in London. They are very friendly and nice. Worth walking of the main street to come find them.

Tucked away in the side streets behind Ludgate Hill is this little coffee house, no bigger than a shoebox, but completely charming. Lovely rich and silky coffee – not too dissimilar from the Monmouth brand, in my amateur, at best, coffee-tasting experience. The oriental lady who served me was definitely a morning person, taking time to ask how I was and where I worked, which made for a pleasant change. So it is with a heavy heart that I must proceed to a “but”, in the form of a sorrowful pain au chocolat, which was dry, devoid of any buttery, flaky layers and involved a game of “spot the chocolate pieces” – I had two bites and threw the rest away, and I never throw pastries away…. I should have ignored the fact that it was breakfast time and gone with my instincts and a slice of cherry(raspberry?) and white chocolate bakewell which promised so much more…

A very Italian run coffee house a block away from the bustle of St. Paul's, serving an enthusiastic office community throughout the week. The staff are friendly and super keen, it's a shame the place isn't bigger, it would probably justify the effort the staff are making. Sadly only 7 high top seats against a bar either up at the window, or opposite the counter. A little cramped if you want to chill over some work, but the WiFi is efficient enough.

Had an amazing breakfast at My Place Soho! Valeria was a fantastic waitress, making sure all our needs were met. We had the goat cheese breakfast and the omelette with spinach both were absolutely delicious. The coffee was great, the vibe was cozy, and the whole experience was just perfect. Would definitely come back anytime!

When we decided to come to London last month we wanted to try all the quintessential British things we could. So an afternoon tea at a classic and classy place had to be. We decided on the Claridges, for one reason only, the no requirement for a dress code as we were coming from a Egypt Holiday and didnt wanted to carry fancy clothes all the way in that holiday. I am really glad we decided on the Claridges. You feel like royalty as they take you to your table, the waiter assigned to us changed from a friendly but inexperienced lady at first, to a genuine superstar gentleman afterwards. It is all an experience and has to be done. The food was exquisit, excellent sandwiches, which we repeated, very good pastries and sweets and amazing teas. The scones were just scrumptious and the clotted cream and jam were simply amazing. We tried six different teas instead of the supposed three as our waiter just wanted us to experienced it all! He was amazing, and I'm sorry that I don't recall his name, but he was awesome really. At the end he insisted we took a box of scones and a box of sandwiches (which sadly were "confiscated" at the entrance for Les Mis). We thoroughly enjoyed our Royal experience and recommend it to anyone!
