Great atmosphere here plus a well used bar

Went to watch a dance show. Brilliant venue and extremely helpful theatre staff. They have a fabulous programme of of events including Kerry Ellis. Highly recommended

We just went into the cafe which was excellent with good quality food at very reasonable prices, the staff were very friendly plus its dog friendly 10/10

Usually stop the cafe here for a cuppa etc when in town. Staff are always lovely, helpful and we've never had a bad coffee and a cake 🥰 or anything else we'd fancied to eat . Our usual go to cafe when in town.

Went for Pissed Up Panto. Show was fab. Theatre is good. Toilet queues not good! 😂

I would definitely come here again. Volunteer run. My only concern, not once was my ticket checked. What if there was a fire. Was I sitting in correct seats??? Lots of children at event. Love venue, staff amazing but health and safety wise..could the event venue account for who was where?

Lovely food and drink in the cafe and all the staff are brilliant and friendly. Been to 2 shows in the theatre and good views both times with very reasonable prices. Get some good acts on and enjoy going.

Extremely hot (unsurprisingly!) in the heatwave, but a lively theatre, great decor, comfortable, and well-priced food and beverages available.

1st visit to Carnagie Theatre to see Jersey Beats last Friday. Excellent night, fantastic atmosphere, will definitely be back.

What a fantastic night out seeing the Jersey beats. Fantastic comedian as well as great music. You must see this show the next time you can, sadly the next show is sold out

Great place for entertainment I went recently to see a pantomime with my partner and didn't really want to go I was just treating her however I really enjoyed it the WADAMS crew are brilliant actors and singers, the costumes and choreography were top class I'm gradually becoming a theatre goer

Must see shows with excellent bar and cafe.

It was a lovely old looking theatre. Gutted the coffee shop does not open as I was looking forward to a pre show coffee. Place clean. Helpful staff. No what's on guides on paper which was a shame. I will rebook. Parking right outside on the street

Enjoyable night watching a good play.

Really good venue for variety of events. Dropped a star as I think it would be better if your staff opened all exits as people leave the venue instead of 'forcing the crowd' through the bar and then the cafe - accident waiting to happen.

Went with my girlfriend to watch a local variety show, a warm and cosy venue. We plan to start a Virtual Reality experience here soon, the staff are friendly and very helpful. Good food and other services catered for. The theatre is like stepping back in time with great shows and other entertainment. A must visit for tourists and locals alike.

Britfloyd are simply the best. The bar was overwhelmed but the service was as good as it could be.

Good venue to host a body building competition. Cafe selling coffees and teas plus snacks and bar selling alcohol, Lots of available seating, staff very friendly. Nearby car park on vulcan Street is only £4 for the day.

"Grease" absolutely fabulous 1st class show

The performance of grease was very good. Only complaint...why the smoke machine? Goes for the eyes and nose.

Thoroughly enjoyed hermans hermits. Very good venue.

great theatre, lots of character

Went to a panto produced well be an amateur dramatics group. Well scripted, participatory and loved by all ages. Good length of interval during which we got Ice creams. I just wonder why they had to come all the way from Devon?

It's a beautiful 'old time' theatre, comfortable and in my opinion more welcoming than the new venues. Worth looking at the program of events and finding something to suit your interests - lots of variety on offer throughout the year.

We saw a local Amature production of Scrooge. Apart from a few technical issues with the mics, it was exceptionally good.

Loved our time at Carnegie Theatre, spend day watching my mates at bodybuilding show, lovely cafe, good bar next to theatre what more can you ask for. Fab day 😀

Still no updates on when they'll reopen despite them being allowed to do so.

Pleased to hear that the Carnegie staff has done enough work so I think it's the time for them to have a rest at home

I saw live music here than the pantomime at xmas we have a brilliant time every time we visit this theatre the staff are lovely friendly and the restaurant is lovely for snacks or meals

What a great little venue. Lovely theatre. Visited to see the BBC Radio Cumbria pantomime being recorded. Will definitely keep an eye open for other things on here and visit again. Plenty of parking nearby.

Love the place! The staff make it a great experience whether you visit the cafe for a coffee or the theatre for a show.

Went to see Nativity, fantastic show, very funny and very well done. The theatre is very comfortable, the staff are great and it's fantastic for disabled access. Would highly recommend going here to see a show or even just getting a bite to eat

Very rude and in your face member of staff when presenting my Eticket to see Jack Dee. Apparently in future "please don't select print at home if you haven't a printer" so I replied I didn't. "you must have done otherwise it wouldn't have asked you to print" charming I must say. Isn't an Eticket just that - electronic. Just because you work in the box office dear doesn't mean you are better than anyone else.
