Absolutely loved it, this is my first time trying it and it won’t be my last.

Been going for the past 10 years, and the food is always on point! Staff are great, and the service is spot on. Easily the best Caribbean food in Stoke, and arguably the best takeaway in town—love it!

Foods perfect every time, it’s the only take away we have now. Follow the no veg instructions every time as well which I really appreciate. Very generous amount of food … BUT PLEASE CONSIDER PUTTING AND EXTRA LARGE ON THE MENU .

Honestly, some of the best Caribbean food I’ve had. The curry chicken was moist, tasty and still hot when it arrived (early). Looking forward to eating the pepper steak later. Will most definitely be ordering from here again.

So bland. Maybe the postive reviews are because there's no Jamaican food to compare with in the area but I've never had ox tail so bland. Almost no taste to the meat or rice. And the patty was burnt around the edges. How do you not notice that before you put it in the bag?

We were lucky enough for Dee, the fantastic chef, to prepare the food for our sons Christening. It was so good he did our wedding party as well! The food was a hit with everyone, and the service has the personal touch too. Dee sent us a lovely card for our sons christening, which was very kind. We really would recommend both catering services and takeaway services. The food is incredible and Dee and his son are absolutely lovely.

We called to see if they would deliver as online it said we were too far, the lady was happy to deliver to us, thoroughly enjoyed 🙌 overall 7/10 only because the dumplings were a little cooler than I'd have liked but wasn't the end of the world fast delivery aswell. Defo order again x

Food was absolutely disgusting. He had no taste whatsoever. The meat was ever so dry like it been over boiled no taste whatsoever will not be going there again.

Tried for the first time this weekend, had the Jerk Chicken & Oxtail with Rice & Peas & some Jerk Patties Food was lovely & a really good portion - excellent value Staff were very friendly & provided a great service when I collected also - will definitely be back!

First time trying Jamaican food, I went for the mutton curry with rice and peas with a side of plantain. It was the best food I had tried when eating out, for a long while. Will definitely be coming again and again and they also offer student discount! It is also halal which is amazing.

Good! Dumplings were a bit tough and to be honest, when I order a large ackee and saltfish I expect a large ackee and a large saltfish. Not a large rice and pea, you know? All due respect. I will order again, the food is generally fantastic and convenient.

Literally the best carribean food I have tasted in many years, I'm half Jamaican myself and this food tastes like beautiful authentic home cooked Jamaican food, with nice big portions which is one of the most important factors, absolutely lovely staff very friendly and welcoming, literally the best carribean food I have tasted in years, I wish I lived closer because I would be eating here on a daily basis. I will absolutely definitely be visiting again.

Absolutely awful, ordered from them previously and the food was excellent however this time it was stale, the dumplings were hard, the curry mutton was dry and the meat was hard and the rice was not fresh. Called them and they denied anything was wrong with the food, said they would send another meal to me then changed their minds as they said the food will be exactly the same and to obtain refund from the app. Customer service and food atrocious! Will not order from there again.

A bit disappointed this time as the dumplings were both stale and the curry mutton was not fresh either, I don’t mind the food being late but the quality of the food was disappointing considering they are normally the best food I order on this app.

Never disappoint with the quality of service and taste.

The food was bland, had no flavour. Spending £9 on the main part, Saltfish and Akee, I literally only had 1 small piece of the fish. I will never order again from them. I do not recommend them. Waste of money, £19.00, I should've give to Micky D's instead.

Never had anything like it ordered ache and sailfish it came with a not a single piece of fish in the box what so ever whole load or rice and veg and the most bland food I have tasted definitely will never use these again and also the wait time was stupid for a box of rice and veg 🤢

I have to say, Ive been craving Caribbean food for some time now. I ordered the brown Chicken stew, white rice and double dumplings from Carmen's - wow, it was absolutely delicious. It tasted totally home made, with a selection of steamed vegetables. I would highly recommend it to everyone!

Food is absolutely fantastic. Staff are so lovely, attentive and helpful. Would most definitely recommend. I travelled alone but they cater for large groups too! Would recommend calling in advance to make your order as it was very easy to do and this way you can decide your collection time etc

Usually ordering off just eat you'll never get more than a bog standard take out but I fancied trying sumat new and decided on this place. Completely blown away, the brown stew chicken was lovely and the fried chicken 🍗 wow yum! Will be back again 100%

I ordered via the website and within 30 minutes, my food arrived. The delivery driver was lovely and the food was amazing. I would highly recommend!

The food left a lot to be desired. The patties did not have that nice flaky crust and only a small amount of mince. They were very doughy. The curry mutton wasn't as soft as it should have been and should have been left in the pressure cooker longer. The flavor was also off, it was more of an Indian curry and less of a Jamaican curry. The jersey chicken was BBQ chicken. The rice and oeas was OK. The fried chicken was OK but not great.

I've been working in stoke for the last year and unfortunately living in hotels so I've had a fair few takeaways. Carmen's was recommended to me by a collogue and I've now been eating here once a week for a few months. The food is absolutely fantastic good wholesome tasty food and lots of it too. I actually feel like I've eaten something that not only tastes great but is reasonably healthy too. The jerk chicken rice & peas with steamed vegetables us my favourite but the mutton is great too. Service is warm friendly and fast. The owners and staff are good people who make you feel like nothing is too much trouble. Without a doubt the best takeaway I've had in stoke.

I ordered for the first time tonight and was very impressed with the service received. The restaurant were short on drivers, which meant my food was quite late. I received two calls from the restaurant to update me on the delivery and the restaurant refunded my money, due to the lateness. When the food arrived it was delicious, won’t hesitate to order again.
