Took forever to arrive. Cold. Rude woman on the phone hung up on me.

Food is cold delivered too late

Delivery was over an hour late. Food delivered to wrong person. then took another 25 minutes to get my food redelivered. Pepe has become a joke this past yet. I am not using them again

Considering I placed a £127 order, they missed 2 meals worth £24(ish) - the delivery said it got delivered 35mins(ish) before it actually did so it left me confused. I’m also at work so the original slot I booked off was misleading and indecisive.

I ordered at 7pm. Expected deluvery was 7.45. I called the restaurant at 8.15 then again at 8.30 and my food was delivered at 8.50pm Cold !

My food came horrendously cold , i could not believe how stone cold the chicken was when it came out, i had to heat up the food for atleast 2/2 minutes to get it just about hot

Over and hour late with no updates on the app apart from one to say our order has been accepted, another saying out for delivery and the most frustrating on to say the food has been delivered when it hasn't. When I saw that I tried to call the place but couldn't as the line was busy so sent over an update saying we hadn't received our food. I asked for a full refund and only got £3 back. Which I had read the reviews as I'm not the only to have had this issue.

over £9.00 per head cold chips small portions chicken warm ,contacted restaurant, offered me 5 fresh bags of chips.

Order arrived when the app said it was however it was freezing cold, the last 3 times we have ordered the food has been cold, not sure what has changed but we won’t be ordering again which is a shame because it was one of our favourite takeaways

Took 1hour 45mins for food to arrive rang 3 times to be told driver is 2mins away which he wasn’t food was stone cold which is not good when it’s chicken rice and salad on a wrap , which it’s not ideal to re heat really wasn’t impressed.

Food arrived 2 and half hours after ordering, called the restaurant twice to chase. Food arrived cold. Manager offered to send the same order this evening for 5pm but yet to be delivered. Terrible customer service!

Ordered a meal today arrived over a hour late and cold rang was told new food was coming called again 75minutes later to request refund and told go through uber eats. Said I'd get some more hot food as still not eaten and surprise surprise nothing I am furious with the lack of customer service and cold dry food I will never order from here again Changed so much last few months and gone downhill

My phone autoCorrect it my address and I should’ve checked that was my fault but taking hours to prepare the food that I ordered is crazy. I waited another hour and 15 minutes for my food to come the second time

Chick n rice box was nice , chips were nice but slightly cold and sauce pots were smaller than was was needed

the food from pope's is never a problem I have ordered before and it has alwaysbeengood. it took over 90 minutes for me to get my order. I rang the restaurant and they informed the food had been taken 15 to minutes prior to my ringing them. I received my order 35 minutes after this call. when I asked the delivery driver he said he had other orders to deliver. the app information was never updated to show he was on way until 10 minutes before he delivered the food. the food was cold on arrival.

Food is always fresh and tasty, but the dips and drinks were missing from the meals when delivered

Due to food hygiene , Please make sure your aware that the people who deliver on uber eats are clean because myself and a few other friends of mine have seen unhygienic behaviour such as people eating food and leaving the food bag in the bag which has disgusting goop which and lead to food poisoning so I advice you check the uber drivers before handing over the food . Another issue that has been drawn to my attention is you do not wear gloves although the food is lovely .

I ordered a paneer rice box due to being vegetarian. After waiting nearly 20 minutes later than the delivery time stated, I was delivered a chicken rice box. I phoned them and had to call 3 times due to getting cut off. Spent ages explaining on the phone as to why a chicken one wasn’t right and had to ask for a new one to be delivered. Not what I expect as usually it’s good but the service tonight was poor

Rice was hard and chicken was over cooked.

Having previously been a big fan of Pepe's I was glad to see that it had reopened following a period of temporary closure. That feeling was shortlived however having experienced poor service the three times we have used them since, peaking with last night's experience. The Pepes App has you choose a delivery time. When our delivery slot (which itself was around 45 mins after placing the order) had been and gone by half an hour, we called the restaurant, who after what seemed like an age, answered the phone to say that the food had left with the driver and would be with us soon. After another half an hour we called the restaurant again to be told that the driver was on their way and that the food would be with us soon. We asked how this was possible as we had been told that previously and it still hadn't arrived. The staff member assured us it would be with us soon. After a further half an hour we received a call from the driver saying he was outside. As we were stood at the front door with no sign of the driver we assured him that this could not be the case. He had driven to the wrong address, 2 miles away. He said he would be with us in 5 mins and that the food was hot because it was 'in a bag'. Around 20 mins later the driver arrived. Two and a half hours after placing the order. The food was, of course, stone cold.

Food was fresh, still hot and had so much flavour. Portions looked small but are deceiving when you open the box out! First time ordering from here and I will definitely be back.

Midway through my Chicken Loaded Fries, happened to find a piece of metal foil stuck to one of the pieces of chicken. Called to ask how thats happened and spoke with a very rude lady who dismissed any claim on the basis of them not using foil and accused me of lying (Which i am 100% not). Never ordering from here again. Absolute joke.

The food tastes really old and off

Very bad customer service. The people working on the tills are very disrespectful and some of them don’t seem to know what they’re doing. I almost had an altercation with the till man who was being a nuisance. Please retrain your staff on how to best treat your customers

very disappointed with the order .I ordered solo plater hot chicken and wings but I got mild onces and 2 items where missing the the peri peri fires and puts bread . .last time also when I ordered wrongs order came and items where missing .very disappointed this time as I was craving for good food and this happened

I visit Pepe’s Piri Piri every week, and it never disappoints! The service is always excellent, with friendly staff who make the experience enjoyable. The food is consistently delicious, and the prices are very affordable, making it a great spot for regular visits. Highly recommend!

Everything is brilliant. Very tasty food. Clean place and an amazing atmosphere. I and my friends come here very regularly at least 2-3 times a week and never get disappointed. Big thanks to Sajid btw. He is a top gentleman.

Food is good and come fairly quickly, barely any seating space downstairs and when we went upstairs it was freezing cold they had no electricity or heating kinda ruined the experience

This is definitely one of the best for options in the late evening for fast food with grilled chicken instead of the usual fried chicken, and a large menu with different flavour options. Staff are great too, and the toilets are well maintained!

Absolutely disgusting service today. We dined in and placed an order via the phone app as with previous experience the female staff on the tills have a hard time communicating and can hardly take an order down without having to repeat several times. Our eat-in order , worth around £50, took 35 mins to make and the food was not hot when it arrived. Chips looked like they had been out for a while and we're getting cold and I even saw one of the staff members reheating our wrapped up burgers on one of the sandwich makers! Why would you serve cold food to eat-in customers who are literally there I don't know?! The staff obviously have no clue how to prioritise orders even though they were very well staffed in the back. 2nd time coming to pepes now and absolute shambles!

Great food - but no longer seem to be delivering to the Longton area?! Very disappointed with the service (or lack of!!!)

The food came over 3 hours later than we ordered it after an hour and a half we rang the restaurant and they told me the food had already left with the driver! And still no food this was around 8:45 the food came at 10:45!!!! In that time we just cancelled the order with just eat as we had to eat as I am diabetic and breast feeding and they still sent the food at 10:45 even though we ended up cancelling the order food I want a refund as we never received our food in the correct time scale!

I was advised my order would take 40 minutes, however it took just under 2 hours

Really not happy with the service. I placed an order today at 3:59pm and waited an hour before checking to see if it was on its way. The delivery time was extended to an extra hour, which we called up the restaurant to ask if there was a driver with our food. The lady on the phone told us that they can't find a driver and our food has been made and has been left in a heater for nearly an hour already. We waited a further hour before realising they added ANOTHER hour to our waiting time (baring in mind our food was made nearly 2 hours ago and just getting stale at their restaurant) So, we call again and ask if there is anything that can be done, and if our food can be made fresh upon delivery. They told us no and hung up. My dad decides to call them after 3 HOURS of us waiting, and them expecting us to wait for a further hour. The man who answered told my dad that they don't take deliveries through Just Eat anymore, and we wont be receiving our food all along. So, we got completely lied to and our money was taken. Completely disgusting to lie to your customers, especially when we visit weekly and sit in. We won't be coming back after this experience.

Missing item and also the nachos were just chicken chunks and crisps nothing nacho about them, usually love this place but really unsatisfied this time round

Honestly where do I start. Wow. Simply unreal. Elegant pitta bread. Succulent chicken. Fries. No superlative will do them justice

The food was an hour and a half late, the food arrived cold and we had to reheat. This is the sending time I’ve had an issue, I ending up cancelling my last order because it was two hours late. It’s such a shame we always used to enjoy ordering from here.
