So much better when this Fish Shop was under the Name “Papa’s” ..Now it’s just really mushy battered fish with cold shrunk bruised chips, my dog even refused😂 Shame. Ain’t what it usto be.

The chips they gave me free !! As I’m gluten free and it does not give you an option on just eat for gluten free chips ..! So that was so lovley of them thank you !!! .

The driver was polite, food was hot and well wrapped scampi was lovely they chips was poor far to many scrap ends.

It was disgusting before the woman packed our food she coughed on her hands then she picked the food up with her bare hands and when we ordered our drinks we got these drink pots and she drooped our straws on the floor then she gave them to us and she refused to give us new clean straws. I would not recommend going there.

Took ages to arrive time in app kept increasing, food was very poor quality and soggy, I called them and asked where my food was and got told to contact just eat nothing they could do.

The food was nice but arrived cold except for the peas which were warmish. The special fish was the same size as the standard fish couldn’t tell the difference? If the above would have been ok I would recommend them as it was very tasty.

wasted my money on this. Worst fish I've ever had. I ordered plaice, the batter was mushy and the fish tasted fishy and watery (not a normal fish taste, it had a gone off fishy taste). I really couldn't eat it without actually starting to feel nauseated so had to throw it. Although the fish wasn't edible the chips and battered sausage was nice and all food arrived hot. It hasn't put me off ordering from here again as it has been nice in the past, I just definitly won't be ordering plaice again

The sandwich had not been prepared properly and to say the filling was missing would be accurate as there was hardly any tuna on the sandwich and a quarter completely bare, raised this as an issue immediately and Just Ear failed to support my case and provided no refund… very disappointing and not a great experience from either Subway or Just Eat 😡

Ordered through Uber Eats. This is the 2nd delivery we have had. The fish and chips are delicious. Proper chippy chips. The fish was really tasty. Loved the batter and loads of fish. The curry sauce and mushypeas excellent. Food was still hot. Highly recommend ***** 😃

we've got no problems with the Chippy whatsoever they are wonderful.. However, we have had problems with the delivery drivers. 3 times now they've been late, rude or didn't show at all. one said he'd taken it back to the chippy but when I called them they said he hadnt. still waiting for my refund for that..

The driver left the restaurant and took 25 minutes to do a 5 minute journey? My food was flat cold!!!

Where to start firstly just eat drivers never came for the order so when eventually turned up and delivered food was barely warm chips just all off cuts with sharp edges curry sauce v spicy and fish stunk oh and no scraps when asked on order. Terrible food terrible service by just eat.

Called in when in the area for the day. Great prices, good food and very generous portions! Would definitely recommend and will be coming back next time we're there.

Batter is so light and the fish is pure white freshly cooked with scraps salt & vinegar just what was needed on a cold winters day. One of the best in Castleford would definitely recommend. Staff very friendly and covid aware without going over the top.
