Ripped off in Costa. 5.55 pounds for a small hot chocolate?!!!!! Surely they overcharged me?!!!!!!! Beware!!!!!!!! Rip off And dirty!!

My experience was mixed. We were heading east and the services were on the easy side of the roundabout for us. I also REALLY needed a toilet and one was provided. I could also have got food and so on, but I didn't feel like it. The place was a bit tatty though. Bit of a spruce up is all it needs.

Really kind man working at greggs - i asked if there was any vegan sausage rolls, he advised there wasn't any but could put some on for me which would take about 12/13mins, unfortunately I was in a rush but appreciated the offer.

Absolute rip off merchants, cold food at ripoff prices, exploitation at its very worse. Hope the authorities close you down

Staff couldn’t be bothered didn’t want to be there asked the same question 4 times did I want brown sauce , then the boy couldn’t put order in 😳🫣 Shame great little greggs

Stopped off here with National Express for a comfort break & had a very uncomfortable experience. We only had fifteen minutes so ordered two bacon double cheeseburgers. Well, we got well & truly ripped off there, we remember having to use two hands to eat Burger King burgers, this was more like a bone dry Scooby snack, there was no lettuce or sauce either & we were charged £11.90! Very disappointed, we won’t be back, avoid at all costs!!

I wish I had driven past. Very few people eating or drinking , so it was easy to get two cups of watery weak coffee in paper cups for £7.50

A small reasonably modern motorway services right next to J33 on the M4. There’s a Burger King, a Costa and a Subway. There’s also a Travelodge on site. This services is only a 10 minute drive or so away from Cardiff City stadium so it’s handy for a pit stop before or after the match if you’re passing by. There isn’t a huge amount I can write about it as there’s very little there. I did notice it all looked very clean though - particularly the toilets. Membury ( a few stops up the M4 towards London) could definitely learn a thing or two about cleanliness from Cardiff West! 8/10 from me.

Superb welcome and service, very well laid out with screens, staff efficient especially Anna from Portugal who goes out of her way to help. Latte always superb and covid hygiene rules adhered too.

Filthy service station. Food all over the floors, no one in masks. Although social distancing measures were in place they were not policed at all. To top it all off, Burger King had no burgers which was comical. A service stop to avoid, you’re much better off waiting another 20mins down the M4 for the next one.

We often call in here as we find it the best services in the area. There is great coffee, ample parking including disabled parking and access avoiding the front steps. The toilets are always clean, which is important for motorway services.

Stayed here on numerous occasions but tonight will be the last one. Stayed here on several occasions and it beggers believe that for such a busy motorway service u have ONE SHOWER! Between all the truckers and every passing member of the public who decides to call in for a quick dip due to the fact u DON'T NEED A KEY OR TO PAY!! This is a disgrace to say the least and u really do need to up your game and get up to speed with other decent motorway services.. One word shocking!! I waited for an HOUR TO USE THE SHOWER and for this privlage I paid £25.00. I will be using CARDIFF GATE next time!

As with every motorway service, the shops are very expensive. The only bonus to these services are the toilets, they are always clean, and nearly always at the far end of the building, so that you have to walk past the shops.

Stopped off here on my way back from Devon.Very surprised how clean and tidy it was.Got good service and was not too over priced.The toilets were gleaming and the food outlet was spotless.Well worth stopping.

Never had a problem here, been to Subway a couple of times and had the occasional coffee. Easy to park, not cheap, but the food has been okay and the service good. Use once every couple of months if on the m4.

What a mistake - we stayed overnight with a caravan to break a trip to West Wales. The caravan parking is badly marked, narrow and small. It is also on a slope which is bad for sleeping. Joy of joy just when you do get off to sleep you are woken by re-fridgerated lorries or an invasion by coaches who use it as a pick up point. There is no proper cafeteria - just fast food outlets. The Burger King BK Angus was bad - the flaccid, grey burger patty looked like it was made from minced cadaver. Slimy lettuce. Unlike others we found the only redeeming feature was Greggs who did a wonderful bacon roll with good value tea and coffee from great staff.

Mi esposa y yo llamamos aquí de camino a casa desde West West desde Somerset. Decidimos tomar un café y un refrigerio de la tienda de Greggs. No lo hagas El servicio es muy malo. Desde el principio, el personal simplemente lo ignora y se habla entre ellos, antes de reconocer que desea ser atendido. Luego, la señora mayor que supuse era el gerente llegó y comenzó a mostrar quién parecía ser una aprendiz de cómo funcionaba la caja fuerte, etc. Mientras tanto, todavía estábamos esperando a que nos atendieran, al igual que la cola de las personas detrás. Algunos incluso fueron a Costas. Teníamos los sándwiches muy caros, cuyo contenido era diferente del etiquetado, por lo que no disfrutamos. Horrible café.

Estábamos en un viaje en autobús y nos detuvimos aquí para tomar un descanso y un descanso de comodidad y no una experiencia agradable, me temo. Sé que a veces debe parecer una corriente interminable de personas, pero el servicio al cliente debe seguir siendo una prioridad con los estándares mínimos de un saludo amistoso con quizás una sonrisa. Lamentablemente, en Burger King al menos 8 de nuestro grupo se acercaron y esperaron en el mostrador durante lo que pareció una eternidad y sin signos de ser reconocidos por nadie y con un tiempo limitado, todos tuvimos que pasar rápidamente a Greggs para que nos sirvieran.

Necesitaba un descanso y la comida se detuvo en esta estación de servicio. Para ser justos, la comida de Burger King no estaba tan mal y el chico joven que servía era educado. Sin embargo, el lugar está fuera de moda y sucio. No hay nada positivo que decir sobre las premisas. Necesita una buena limpieza si no una renovación completamente nueva.

Normalmente no dejaría una crítica negativa, pero siento la necesidad de advertir a la gente sobre la comida aquí. Tuvimos que comer algo y (erróneamente) asumimos que podría haber algo comestible en Greggs. Mi compañero nos compró un "pastel de verduras" y nuestro hijo comió uno de queso y cebolla. Honestamente, el relleno de nuestras empanadas fue como una bocanada de queso y vegetales que alguien más había preparado, completo con un extraño acabado a pimienta que ardía más de lo que era el sabor. La principal diferencia con el vómito real era que nuestros pasteles estaban muy fríos. Nuestro hijo tampoco terminó el suyo. Solo estoy escribiendo esto ahora que estoy sentado aquí (al día siguiente) sintiéndome mareado, odiando a Greggs.

Nos detuvimos aquí de camino a Cardiff y decidimos que tendríamos un Metro rápido mientras estuviéramos aquí. Una vez que nos sentamos a comer nuestro metro, vimos a la persona que nos había servido agarrando pepinos y varios artículos de ensalada de los tazones con sus propias manos y llevándolos a la boca. ¡Absolutamente repugnante, sin guantes y a la vista de todos! !

Stopped here on way to Fishguard recently. Welcome caffeine infusion at the time. The lady serving in Costa was lovely - think she was Eastern European. Made a fantastic flat white and a mocha.

Awful service station. Very old and in need of modernising. Would avoid this where possible. Dont stay at the Travelodge either!

5 times we had to repeat our order of 2 coffees and a hot chocolate and yet they still got it wrong. Absolute waste of time.

General cleanliness was very poor, expensive everything. Blacklisted as some where never to go again.

Costa Café es siempre bienvenida y servicios tienen excelentes instalaciones para personas con movilidad reducida y bahías de estacionamiento. . . . .

Two Cardiff tour operators leave from here, Edwards being the main one, it is a good comfort stop foe people on the feeders. Toilets are clean and presentable. Normal fast food outlets and of course W.H. Smith.

Visitamos aquí ayer en el camino a una entrega en Pontyclun esta mañana. Llegamos a las 18:00. Pagamos £20 para aparcar por la noche en el aparcamiento, pero nos dieron un vale de 10 libras de comida conductor para camiones que podía utilizar en cualquier estación de servicio moto en el REINO UNIDO. . . Extra! . . . Sin embargo, la fantástica cosa sobre esta estación de servicio es que hay un hombre muy pequeño que está constantemente patrullando por el lugar y mantener así bloody limpio. . . Contenedores, aseos, suelos, el nombre que usted, él está allí para mantener limpia. . . Fui por una noche en el dos veces caca y él era! . . . Limpieza de los baños. . . Otros lugares deberían tomar nota. . . Este hombre debe estar en todas partes y la vida sería genial para todos. . . Desperté a las 7:30 de la mañana y nos dieron un desayuno de Pastie Greggs sólo para descubrir que estaba frío. . . Yo estaba trabajando antiguo que empanadas debe ser calentado en un microondas a unos 20 pies de distancia. . . Greggs WTF? . . . Me comí la pastie y fuimos para una final de caca, y el chico pequeño todavía estaba allí, limpiando la! . . . Después de 13 horas, además de que había llegado. La calidad del servicio. . .

Gregg's bakery serving cold pasties and telling us to warm them up in the baby bottle microwave. Not good...

The toilets have been refurbsihed and clean and presentable, sink taps loose and one (of two) handdriers faulty, but fully acceptable. Had a meal at burger king which was very disappointing, Normal a fan of this chain but the chips were old, the burgers no better that McD, the bottom of the bap was wet and the coffee very watery in taste.

Estuvimos tres noches y este Travelodge superó mis expectativas. La ubicación es genial, justo en el medio de la zona de compras principal. Hay restaurantes y bares a pocos minutos a pie. Muy tranquilo para un centro de ciudad Travelodge, la habitación estaba limpia y bien cuidada.

We were very disappointed with the Services at Cardiff West. It used to have a much better range of food beofre the current food chains took over.
