Captain Jacks in Blackpool

Loud music, the food was ok but not very warm. The staff were pleasant and friendly. We ordered the sharing platter, onion rings, garlic bread, breaded mushrooms and nachos. Nothing was hot

Having visited their other food outlet which was excellent. We thought it would be nicecto go here. Although overal the steak and chips were ok and the hanging kebab too, we hade to send all the corn on the cobbs back icy cold, then the mains came out this time peas icy cold, then the hanging kebab which had a dead fly in the salad, although all was replaced and warmed up in chef microwave, the attention to detail was sadly missing, having spent over £100.00 you would expect a bit better, lastly hving made a guest wait for a meal due to having to replace it, charging up front for a 2nd coke is very cheeky. Won't be back

We went here a couple of times and both times we were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our table. We were given a menu each then left for a few minute's to make our choice. Once ordered you were asked to pay which is fair enough because of the number of walk outs with out paying. After paying the drinks quickly arrived and shortly after our food. The food was well present, hot and tasty. Both of us enjoyed what we were given. We both a had to use the toilets which we found to be clean and bright. We knew they would be cleaner as we had seen the cleaner do them whilst we waited for our food. You can also watch a Pirates of the Caribbean whilst you dine are all the movies are playing on various screen through the restaurant.

Worst experience of a diner ever. Food arrived chips were freezing on 2 of our meals. We all ordered the big dog hotdog out of 6 of us that ordered that meal could not come close to finishing it. Absolutely vile. What diner asks you to pay upfront... Red flag

We stopped here for food, while on our walk down the prom. Food was lovely, I'd recommend the cajun cod, it was cooked to perfection. Atmosphere was great, and staff were lovely too. Nice and clean, well worth a visit

Had a fab family meal at Captain Jack's. Great decor and atmosphere, and a very friendly welcome when we arrived. My daughter was a little chilly next to the door, and it was no trouble for them to move us to another table. We ordered the Jack's Sharer, the ribs and wings and side orders of fries. Large portions, and the food was so so tasty. We didn't think it was pricey either. My daughter's are very hard to please and both wanted to go back the following night! Would recommend for a nice

Turned up, found our seats, quite lively when we arrived, do like this place, just taking in the surroundings alone. Meals was a mixed bag, value wise pretty good, hot dog, burger, was fine, well the daughter demolished her meal, without picking at it. Wife said her fish and chips were good, Alas I found my steak, a little chewy in places, but still downed my plateful. A few drinks later, including, mojitos, we left fairly satisfied. Not sure what happened to the chip that flew off the plate whist trying to cut threw part of the steak, soz about that 😁

Absolutely fantastic. Kids friendly. The big dog was absolutely massive! Can’t wait to go back next summer!

Staff was poor after 3 times of giving our order first the drink was wrong, then half the mains come out then the other main was wrong then what finally come was wrong again, gave up and ate it. what we ate was tasty - wasn't really hot. Really Wouldn’t recommend. The Food looked nice until we noticed undercooked pink slimy chicken. Chips were nice!! Toilets- Absolutely vile- Need a good clean. Could make someone ill! Overall the price you pay for the standard you get is really very poor.

Food was ok but not too hot. It seems to me that the food is waiting on the hot plate waiting to come out. Mine and other patrons were served minutes after ordering. My starter was been cleared by one member of staff and they passed my mains on the way to my table. Not the best. Not much time to get ya bum on the seat before they are asking if you are ready to order. I won’t be rushing back anytime soon 👎👎

So everytime we come to blackpool, we eat here. Usually the same meal each time . The ribs & chicken wings . Its never let us down. This visit however , they opted for something else , they went for the burger meal. It was pitiful ,it was not worth the money at all . I still had the ribs and chicken and the ribs were fine but the chicken was dry but juicy at the same time ..hard to describe. There was issues with ordering as the girl taking the order couldn't seem to understand a word I was saying. Then once we got the food we were eating ,she came to ask if it was all OK, we nodded with full mouths , she then continued to stand there and talk to us about how she keeps catching people with their mouths full and how awkward it had been ...not really the time to stick around for a chat ,we were eating. Getting the bill was also slow. We had to take ourselves to the bar area to get the attention to pay. Like I said,we usually come here every visit but after the sad state of affairs with the burgers and chicken. We won't be coming back again. Its no where near the standard that's been built up over the years

Having seen reviews I decided to go myself reviews are a single persons option doesn't change the fact these people are not hard working as it could have been a  busy period when mlYou visit or the fact that theres 80 people to all keep happy. I'd say don'tread reviews and go no it's had only one star as you might give a different rating. I went when there was 2 members of staff on the evening the were fantastic to me and my family no problem too big nor too small. The food was very impressive abit pricy but if you go out once or twice a month it's well worth it if you want small portions for little price go to whetherspoons or mcdonalds. Best food around Blackpool. 2 people sitting on the same table one give a bad review the other an exceptional one why because everyone is different enjoy life and the little things. 5 stars

Cracking food, and decent value for money. We ordered the sirloin steak, the Stacker burger and the Double Stacker burger, all of which were delicious and went down very well. The staff were really lovely and friendly and happy to help. The meal came to less than £70 for 3 drinks and 3 meals, which is very reasonable, especially as the food was so good. Will definitely come back here if/when we return to Blackpool.

Arrived here for a birthday meal for a family member. First time I have been and will definitely be back. Food was brilliant, can’t believe the portions! Staff were so very helpful and very attentive, even the chef managed to find me an alternative sauce that I wanted. Great place, family friendly. Reasonably priced. See you next time guys!

We arrived on a wet evening, and was promptly seated by the friendly members of staff who immediately interacted with our 15 month old which is always nice to see :) The drinks order was taken swiftly and same with the food. I had a steak which was delicious and cooked to my liking, it's always nice when a chef knows how to cook a steak properly! Peppercorn sauce was lovely and had a kick to it, always good! My wife had the enormous hotdog! I mean this is great value for money, and with the chilli and cheese as an additional extra it's a proper feast! My only feedback would be for kids, having a slightly bigger option for the older kids would be beneficial as it was demolished and he was still hungry!! Nice place, nice staff and we will probably return for a treat. Only thing to note is THEY DO NOT DO KIDS EAT FREE HERE. It's not that clear from all the signage and I wouldn't want anyone to fall into that trap. However the food was worth eating here 😊
