Ordered a pizza and 2 piece southern fried chicken. Pizza was very good and would order again. Chicken unfortunately was overcooked/burnt, and was sadly unedible. If they improved the fried chicken then would give 5 stars

Been having Fingers for as long as I can remember, but this is the first time that we were looking for something else to eat after finishing our takeaway,not the impressive takeaways they used to be. More cost less satisfaction. Probably think twice about ordering as frequent in the future.

We ordered food 3 hours ago - it was confirmed. 3 hours later, we’re still waiting and the phone lines have been blocked for the last 1.5 hours. We’d order elsewhere but they’ve already got our money. The least they could do it tell us they’re not coming but we’ve not heard a thing and can’t get hold of them either.

Website is extremely poor - item disappeared from order and only delivered one item for minimum delivery fee. No ticket or email to confirm what was ordered so you aren't even aware this has happened until they deliver it. Rang to query and told to pay more money and wait most likely another 45 minutes for food I've already paid for. Offering another burger to compensate this is not acceptable as it's essentially just knocking £2 off buying more food instead od them fixing their mistake. Chips delivered were undercooked and went in the bin.

The mix grill was one of the best we have tried. More than enough for 2 people and the taste is one of the best pieces of meat we tried in Northampton!!!

We have ordered here now 3 times and never had any problems before And have ordered the Same meals each time. We ordered today 20:52pm food Arrived at 21:18pm. When I sat down And started eating and separated the doner meat and was having to pull It to seperate it with My Hands as the strands was long. I put a piece to One side and went to eat a smaller part under neath. When I put my fork on to The meat I saw a dead mosquito type fly on it with the sauce. I immediately stopped Eating and put that piece with the fly on to one side and proceeded to check the rest of the food. On doing so I found parts of the legs cut of and on other pieces of The doner meat. I instantly felt sick To my stomach. I Will attach a photo. I barely eat fast foods due to these worries. We rang the place who said they would offer another meal, I instantly refused after seeing that hell no I wouldn’t want another meal. I asked for a refund which they said they would do. They also said someone would be round to collect the food and to no surprise no one has been round to collect. This place clearly is dirty seeing as the male on the phone said they have fly catchers etc well clearly you don’t. Many experience different Things until it happens to Them. Many people can be lucky and have no problems. This was not the case here for me. I will be avoiding this place from now on but for those still wanting to order then I would properly check your food. The photos attach show where I’ve cut the long pieces where there appears to be legs from this bug on them. I don’t know how much of this was spread through the meal but seeing that was more than enough. Such a disappointment. Maybe clean your shop better and keep these vile creatures out when serving food due to hygiene standards.

Always trying out other takeaways in Northampton just in case I'm missing out on something special. I then regret it and always return to my absolute favourite, Captain Fingers. Very tasty, generous portions and always delivered by friendly smiling faces. Recommended.

Me and the family have been ordering from here for a long time, I decided to change my meal to a Fish Burger instead, I gotta admit it was delicious plus there chips are perfectly cooked is well, me and my whole family enjoyed our meals, service has always been the same only found out that CF can do it via online lol, still received our food within 15 mins of it being ordered, always had the fastest service since been using. Been ordering from here now for nearly 17 years and it’s a staple in our household part of the family almost! Kebabs, pizza, hotdog wraps even the pasta absolutely incredible, always piping hot and friendly staff / drivers, would 110% recommend to anyone after a decent takeaway. Very fast and very friendly. I popped in to their unit for a kebab not knowing of they did walk-in service and to my delight, they do! Very happy indeed, excellent kebab too!

Been using this old favourite for years, and recommending them, but NO NORE WILL I BE DOING THAT, im disguested with man on phone got the order delivered not only was it warm we got told it was more money than we was told on phone, dont worry when i can come in you will realise you have upset a really regular cusromer

This place used to be good back in 2010s. But not anymore. Kebabs full of little shards of bone/gristle. Their renowned garlic mayo completely changed, tastes floury and bland. Gone down hill big time, which is a shame.

Food was ok, I went in their and the food hygiene is terrible. On a industrial estate and the smell when you go is an aroma of burnt oil. About six seven guys in there, not even equipped with any PPE. No aprons, hairnets or even masks. Working very closely, people waiting for food, a real shambles. I had a kebab and chips. The meal was ok itself, nothing special. However I sit here 48 hours later discovering I have been a victim of food poisoning. Woke up in the middle of the night with terrible stomach cramps, which was due to the cause of diarrhoea. I can tell it was due to captain fingers, as I'm extremely fit and have never had issues like this in my life. AVOID if you want to keep yourself away from risking a potential disaster. I never complain or even when I have a bad meal I forget about it. But this was terrible, really shocking. Needs to have health inspections for sure.

Great food. Making a call for delivery took 30s. Generous portion sizes and overall great experience. 10/10 will order again.

Not having had a takeaway for ages I searched high and low for somewhere decent and stumbled upon Captain Fingers and I'm so glad I did! Pleasant on the phone easy to order plus they take cash cards - noice! Food came in good time was presented well and I loved it. So fresh and delicious. Brilliant portions for the price. Would definitely recommend. Thanks guys

Won't go anywhere else for a pizza. Good portion sizes and alot of topping variety to choose from. Good value for money especially with BOGOF offer on the pizza menu. - Delicious!

We order regularly because the food here is top quality. Its hot, the portions are plentiful an the service is amazing.

After waiting two hours for food, it was cold , the chips weren't cooked, burgers were very dry and full of lettuce and no other salad, probably will not use again very poor , not recommend

This is one of the best take aways I have had in a long time, burgers were cooked well the chips were chunky but most of it was still hot when delivered.

Best chicken shish kebabs in Northanpton!

Ordered and was told an hour. It was a treat to cheer up my daughter in lock down. 1hr 45 later, driver lost and wrong order and no compensation. Won't ever order again! How can you confuse chicken nuggets with a burger. What a waste of money and cheer up treat ended in tears for a five year old! Review update they have called me and apologised and to me that says a lot! So gave them an extra 2 stars. It means a lot to get a phone call apology !

i only live on the edge of moulton park but never used before so thought we'd give it a go for a change, went to the actual unit rather than delivery, we had donner meat and chips, it was one of the best i've had, meat was lovely and ample portions although i still ate it all! i will use again and would definately recommend.

I don't normally write reviews but I just had to today! A couple of people in our area recommended Captian Fingers and said they did the best kebabs around! And I stand be this! I had a chicken & Donna kebab and it was bloody amazing! Definitely the best I've had since living in Northampton! Wasn't greasy at all so even though a kebab isn't the healthiest of meals to opt for it didn't actually feel bad at all! Very impressed! Also arrived before the ETA! Will deff be ordering again!

Right quoted a 1hr for delivery took 1hr 30 mins 🤷‍♂️. Firstly one of the kebabs delivered was incorrect, called the shop to see if this could be swapped as didnt fancy chilli and mint sauce (who would order such a combo 🤢) I had ordered garlic mayo, the lady on the phone was incredibly rude and refused to believe that I had ordered garlic we went back and forwards for 5 mins and she agreed to swap it over but didnt know how long we would have to wait for this to happen. After a additional 25 mins waiting the correct kebab arrived. The food. One word greasy.... donner meat was the most greasy I have seen but strangely the chicken was dryer than 10 Jacob's crackers, the salad not very fresh overall was a poor, greasy and tasteless kebab. I will not be ordering from here again I suggest you all keep clear.
