Worst Chinese I've ever had, it's disgusting, well overpriced I can't touch it, the delivery driver is trying to ring a buzzer on the opposite block of flats when it states Calder house, I'm fuming, I'm sick of getting ripped off, I'm not well, to pay £18 for bad food that's supposed to be for 2, you added £3 without telling me, then a tip for someone that can't understand me, I want a refund

Terrible food, special fried rice was horrible, curry was tastless, never again.

Worst Chinese I’ve ever had, no flavour on anything. The chilli beef was laughably bad. Small portions and it’s not cheap! £32 for two of us. Never again.

Got a delivery by Uber. Delivery was ok and food was not. That’s it. Didn’t eat hardly any. Watery and tasteless. The weirdest sweet and sour sauce ever and same applies to the Cantonese sauce. Rice average but S&P chips very very poor. This shop won’t be getting an order off me again.

Something about the sauce on the Sweet and sour chicken wasn't right. It was weak and too sweet. Not like other Chinese takeaways I've been to.

Wonderful chinese chippy, food is grear

We were a little nervous about ordering from here because there’s a so many similar food spots in Manchester but we were pleasantly surprised. The food was very delicious and the portions were huge. One thing I will note is that I wasn’t a fan of the way the food was packaged, in those styrofoam kebab containers is not ideal at all. I ordered sweet and sour sauce which came in a container and by the time it had reached my address it had spilled in the bag all over the styrofoam containers obviously making it soggy. But other than that, the king prawn rice, special fried rice and the salt&pepper wings 10/10 meal.

Crispy duck was just shattered tiny bits, like leftovers, 98% this 'shrapnel', the very few bits of meat totally hard and overcooked. Other dishes were tasty, better than expected after this starter! When we went to collect our order, was told it wasn't ready. Waited... and waited... and waited, patiently. After 1/2 hour turned it it has been sat on the side all along getting cold!, she was just more interested in concentrating on serving deliveroo and such like companies. Seems companies are more important than locals! Priorities all wrong.

Love the food from here but sure it's different owners!!

Very stingy with portion size for quarter duck. I understand it is a quarter but that’s not even a quarter of a pot for the hoisin sauce. Had very dry duck and pancakes. Ruined my birthday. Everyone else’s food (starter platter, chicken chow mein noodles) was fine. Really upset with the duck.

First time ordering throughout deliveroo. Omg ...Best salt n pepper chips and chicken I've tasted. Amazing

Decent food. Came here other night when coming back from an event and just needed food as was starving and most places were shut. Never tried before but glad we found it. Food was tasty and fresh. Would definitely come back. The lady behind counter was quite friendly which is a bonus even though we caught them with only 15 mins to closing and I took a while to decide but she was very patient.

We always had nice food from here but lately expecially tonight chicken was dry bald and disgusting waste of money chicken went to dog spent £25

The best hot n sour soup around. The ribs are spot on as well. That's all I've tried at the moment.

I ordered a portion of chips and although they were ok the service definitely wasn’t. The chippy looks unclean, it’s February and Christmas decorations still up making it obvious no serious cleaning gets done. The lady behind the counter snatched the £5 note out of my hand and when ready she practically threw the bag of chips through the hatch and slammed it shut. I said thank you but she rudely ignored me. Ok it wasn’t a big order but politeness is free and would encourage me to return. I won’t now

Clean, fresh ingredients, quick service, friendly staff

Ordered twice from here this week and its been spot on. Had roast ribs, special fried rice, beef chow mein and salt and pepper chicken all really nice 👍

Order a salt and pepper box that’s supposed to have salt and pepper chips salt and pepper chicken peaces and wings and ribs and it come all dry and the chips jus had onions on them nothing salt and pepper about them the soft noodle’s with bean sprouts was like sewage in a tub i wouldn’t mind and all they went the right noodles they was like over boil spaghetti pasta and the curry sauce was dried up in the pot absolutely vile this take away will never order again anyway went in tried to get a refund for the food they delivered me she refused ti refund me so i told her id be contacting the council as its discussing and she laughed at me so i threw the noodles all over her and poured the curry on her and flung the salt and pepper box at them and jus left as they was not gonna refund me in first place but I would even feed the food from here to a dog needs shutting down

Got to say since this Chinese has been taken over it’s got a lot better the food is delicious, the best in blackley by far

This was always a fantastic chippy but have to say since it's changed ownership it has gone down hill I called in last night for steak and kidney pie chips and gravy when i got home and started to eat my food the pie tasted sweet so i pulled back the pastry and the pie was bone dry and two different colours I went back to the chippy to show the girl behind the counter that the pie was off but she was having none of it she said that it was a freash pie but it definitely wasn't So i said to her that i wanted my money back or I will inform the council she then decides to refund me my money Sorry but i will never use this chippy again Please beware

Absolutely beautiful food. Always so fresh and tasty. Portions are generous too. Best Chinese around (we've possibly tried them all😉) Owners are so lovely and friendly. Definatley recommend 100%
