Friendly and accommodating staff. Good, fast service at peak morning travel times.

Nice cafe, the place is clean and tons of people are coming in the morning to take their drinks and leave. The music is chill and nice, I order Italian cream puff and iced pistachio latte. The latte was delicious with their seasonal topping while the cream puff was okay. I got bothered by how hard the bread was to cut through and that's all.

Love this Caffé Nero. Great coffee and great pastries. Other coffee shops just pale (I have no idea whay anyone goes to Costa!). It helps that the staff here are (mostly) happy. helpful and kind.

I visit this Caffè Nero quite often now. I always get a tasty coffee and a fresh cake or croissant. The service is very kind. A visit to this place always cheers me up. I recommend it.

Wanted to get a cup of coffee befor work and ordered a latte with coconut milk. However, the barista used the oat milk instead (the orange box read OAT, not the Green box read COCONUT). After I got the drink, I was confused so confirmed with the barista, and they said that it's COCONUT not OAT milk. But it tastes the same as oat milk but not coconut milk. I was rushing to work so didn't ask to do the drink again. Really disappointed at the service. (What if I'm allergic to oat milk?)

Different people working there every time I go. Coffee has never tasted the same twice. It’s okay there but yet to find a commercial coffee shop that I’m overly joyed at.

Lovely cosy atmosphere, big sofa hidden away at the back and our vegan hot chocolates were delicious ☺️ great service too

The coffee is delicious. Their fault is that not all food is halal, but you have to ask them. The employees are cooperative. Their fault is the music.

Wonderfully swift service, the café has wonderful lighting and a cozy atmosphere. The drinks were great, no complaints!

Nearby good coffee when taking the train to Oxford Road universities. Open early enough for dropping in on the way from the station and with window seats from which to watch the world go by on city street outside. There is also a useful mix of individual 'study desk' seats as well as a comfy corner and the usual style tables.

Decent coffee. Just popped in for a drink and rest on the way to a gig.

There about 830 am today (fri 26th Apr). Lots of space in the morning to eat, drink and tables good for laptop work..Staff are welcoming and friendly with excellent customer service. Coffees always good. Very nice lattes. So nice today I stayed for second. Today I had a porridge and coffee and when my discount app wasn't working properly they went out of their way to offer to manually discount anyway. I didn't ask! Great customer service.

Very nice café with friendly staff

I dropped in for a quick coffee fix before my uni meeting. I decided to try the caramel latte with cream. It’s not my usual go to cappuccino, but decided to change it up a bit. I wasn’t disappointed as it was delicious.

Tables uncleared and very dirty. Had to wait to get staff to clean one of many before use. Large queue and all staff busy selling rather than clearing. All tables full and people waiting.

should really update the opening hours on google went there at 8:30am and there were 2 girls standing around doing nothing who then told me they wouldn't be opening for another 10 minutes. nice one.

A small Italian tea room, good quality, we had breakfast for 3 for £18.

Quick service, plenty of seating and clean

Less than two hours ago I tried to buy a coffee but the only assistance I had was from an idle Barista telling me I was "standing at the wrong end of the queue Pal" I felt a little upset that was his only way he could accommodate me despite using a walking aid. It seems strange how Cafe Nero offer and boast of excellent facilities for patrons with disabilities but provide Staff who are rude and insensitive. I wasn't the Barista's Pal and certainly didn't appreciate that he was doing very little compared to his colleague. However, all was not lost. There is a Starbucks over the Road who provided a very friendly fast service. Their restaurant was twice as busy with just as many staff. Who were very polite, friendly and keen to engage with me.

The lady who served didnot note down i needed Oat milk instead made with normal milk. And the hot chocolate was way too sweet so couldnt finish it.

The girl was so stressful, giving me anxiety, she just wanted to quickly make my drink and have me gone, when they didn’t have what I wanted in the first place she should’ve let me look in peace but she was very insistent. Coffee wasn’t great either

Great place for a drink and a chat. Staff are helpful and courteous. As this is Manchester, it's also a great place to escape from the rain.

I came into the cafe today to order a drink and the staff were very rude and snappy no idea why. They then kicked some lovely girls out who were talking about their bad behaviour, instead of giving good customer service, the lady took out her bad day on them. Please improve ! Very aggressive behaviour.

Disgusting customer service - the service I got was awful. I should have requested a refund after the way I was spoken to. I then witnessed the same girl start shouting at 2 young girls which was so uncomfortable and shocking to watch.

I came with 4 friends on Thurs 16th November around 10am. The initial customer service was poor and staff were rude. My friends drink was poor quality and half full, and when we went to ask for this problem fixed, the staff were rude. The assistant manager for this shift then came up to us and asked us to leave and was appalling rude to all 5 of us. l've never seen customer service as poor in my life. When we asked for a contact for a more senior manager she refused to give a contact for customer support annd refused to give us her name. Awful.

Good place for a quick coffee or read. Is in a crowded area but is good for a meet with friends.

Excellent service and trusted quality at this quiet comfortable coffee shop halfway between the University and the theatre.

It can get busy some mornings but the service is always good and relatively quick for a tasty morning coffee!

Great latte and wonderful hot chocolate

This is by far a better, but much older, Nero than the one in Piccadilly station. If you can go here not there. The staff a bright, super polite and ready to take your order unlike the Piccadilly branch where I have stood waiting whilst 4 staff members chatted and then been push out the way by a fifth so they could wipe down the surfaces.

Just another Cafe Nero. Painfully slow service with the usual coffee chain type variety.

Always love coming here for a coffee! One of the guys (I think he is called Kyle?) that has been there a while makes the best drinks and super polite. Always extra happy when he is serving!

I’ve only been to this Caffè Nero twice, I really like the proximity to the train station, and I received quite nice service here. The food was a bit expensive but that’s just Caffè Nero for you. I also like how they have independent seating booths in case you just want to sit alone and eat, making it a nice place for solo diners. I liked how the bathroom was clean (ensured by using a code). I felt welcomed and invited in this Caffè Nero, with one of the staff members personally asking me if I was okay sitting at a table by myself on a very early Sunday morning.

It is one of the best chain coffee shop experiences I have had in a long time.

Perfect for morning coffee on the way to work. The baristas are always polite and the service is fast - they are like a well oiled machine, I love organised and skilled service.

Could only have paper cups. Ordered a sausage roll, which was served in a paper bag (sitting in), and was cold in the middle. Not with the money

It's ok. Could do with a Bit more natural light near the back.

Finally found a good porridge! With a great capuccino and sitting at a nice, cosy single person table.

This Caffe Nero is very good.ive only been once to this one so far but the staff were very good and the coffee excellent.it is well located close to Oxford Road train station and other public transport links.the shop was clean and tidy and looks as if it's a busy place.well worth the visit and I will visit again.

Been there just before Christmas,great location with lovely views, place extremely busy,a bit chaotic, toilet very messy,.Coffe is nice,one from my favorite, but i am giving 3 stars only because it was a mess overe there,lots of people,no sugar available ,i hope will change after Christmas and toilet will be repaired. I will have another try,,,soon

I am a new fan of Caffe Nero since Costa has changed its recipe / supplier (it seems) and Starbucks coffee is mediocre and overpriced. The app is great too, I get free coffees frequently by using the ap, NHS discount and great customer service. The gingerbread latte is my favourite atm.

Had a sausage ciabatta and hot chocolate. Ciabatta was ok, hot chocolate was a bit bitter. The lady who served me this morning (I didn't get her name) seemed lovely toward regulars but seemed really rude like she didn't have the time of day for us. I struggle to hear and she repeats herself with a really harsh tone, while asking my quieter friends to repeat themselves with the same harsh tone. Not going to lie, for such a "luxe" coffee shop, I'm kinda disappointed.

Every time I've been it was reasonably quiet but still with a good atmosphere.

Food and drink good, toilets bad..Dirty, debris on floor and no toilet roll. Early morning so not after a busy day. Usually spot on here but a bit hit and miss lately.

A nice place, but it closed very early and there was very little seating available to the public during to Covid. Still it was warm & the only place to get a coffee at the station.

Nice decor, good coffee and fantastic porridge

Central branch of Caffè Nero, close to the universities and Oxford Road station. Seems to be one of the testing grounds for new furniture and decor. Not really impressed. Cramped tables and some bizarre individual seats I imagine designed for laptop use. Only thing is, you wouldn't be able to fit a laptop and a coffee on there.

THE BEST HOT CHOCOLATE. Waiting time can be a bit lengthy though!

Visited new yrs day 1st Jan 2020, with my mum. Drinks and chocolate cake good quality. Must say better cakes than Costa, will visit Nero more. I used before the explosion of Costa - lot. Made me think twice.. Luckily for me on Oxford Rd (opp old BBC) both are on the same row. Thank you

It's a cafe Nero so coffee was usual pretty good chain coffee and service was friendly enough. Place is a bit of a mess though, there were tables and chairs in off locations and dirty tables and it wasn't that busy. Very limited choice of sandwiches for lunch as well.

Coffee shop in Manchester gets busy but when we went just after 8am on a Saturday it was lovely a d quiet friendly staff. I tried the espresso a d tonic slightly odd but enjoyable, made quickly by friendly staff. Clean nice to sit in the window and watch the world go by.

Rude staff. Came in to buy a coffee but needed to use the toilets first. Asked for the code for the toilet (from the woman with purple hair) but was told that until I bought a coffee I wasn't a customer. Ended up having to go elsewhere as I didn't have time to wait for the coffee to be made before I went to the toilet. I can understand wanting them to be customer only and wanting people to have to ask for a code, but when someone politely asks and is then not trusted with the code until they've stood in the long queue and been served seems very untrusting. I used to be a loyal customer at this branch but because of one rude member of staff ( the rest have always been great), I will not be coming here again.
