the salt and pepper chicken was rock hard and chewy and not edible,such a shame as the special in blackbean sauce was beautiful, I spent £50+ so not great at all, I would try again and give them another try if they fix our bad experience this time...

I have ordered food from here for along time & it used to be very good, But the last 5 orderers I have had from here have been horrible, The chicken & beef in the dishes are awful I am sure it's fake meat & pork meat tastes so bad I was nearly sick the prawns were chewy, All special dishes containing all the meats are awful because of the meat used. The shop has either changed hands or they have a new chef or no chef at all, Because I spend about £30 you get free items like cans of pop & everytime for the last 5 times I had to ask for these & this causes some embarrassment on the phone as these items are normally mentioned to me, This place has had chance after chance from me & the last takeaway I had will be my last, I will not be ordering anymore & what is with this horrible meat in the dishes & I have noticed alot of Chinese takeaways are using this horrible type of meat too it must be really cheap for them to stock but we are paying for proper meat here at these prices. Avoid this place at all costs & going by other Chinese takeaways I have tried it might be worth it to try make your own Chinese food, If this is how they want to treat their customers they shouldn't expect to have any customers.

Ordered a Share box. Food all mixed together in a pizza box. Not quite what i was expecting. Plenty of it, but all smothered in salt. Made it barely edible.

I ordered from this place more than 10+ times and each time the quality dropped. Today would be my last day to eat from here, I ordered shredded chicken which usually comes in mild-spicy/sweet sauce and tofu in Szechuan sauce. But I received shredded chicken in Szechuan sauce and tofu in sweet sauce instead. The lady which I presumed is the owner rejected my claim and said she packed the food herself and everything was correct. She refused to take responsibility for their own mistakes. Had she see these photos, she should be able to tell that they really did mixed up the sauces for each dish from the colour of the sauce. This will be my last order from them. food delivered early. only issue I had was the prawns were cold n the rest of food was hit?? I think it was all microwaved 2 b fair.

used to be a good Chinese but I think it has changed hands now. Order wrong, chips awful tasted re-heated, curry sauce changed not nice now, meat not as good. won't be re-ordering.

A perfect example of quantity over quality. the food was edible but unfortunately not enjoyable.

Ordered from here numerous times previously, not for couple of months though and food was nice. Not sure if they have changed their chef, but our food tonight was awful. The only thing I could taste was garlic and pepper, neither me nor my daughter could eat it! £30 down the drain. Won't be ordering again 😒

Thank you for my order. However, The soup had so much pepper it was inedible. The crispy Beef was soaked in the who hole jar of chilli oil and inedible. £14 spent on food that could not be eaten. I'm so disappointed because when I called you hung up and when I called back you hung up again! Poor and bad manners, no care for customer service! food mediocre at best if that's what your sending out!

the satay sauce was atrocious it was literally gravy with nuts in. the beef with broccoli was very greasy and way too much garlic. had before from same place and it was really nice. so dunno wat happened this time. chips were warmed up. they were solid and dry. def won't be ordering here again.

First time at Canton King last night and I must say the food was brilliant. Great portions, wonderfully cooked and service was quick and friendly..Ill definitely be coming back for more. We've used so many other Chinese takeaways over the years and these guys are hands down the best for miles around!

The best Chinese takeaway in the area! The food is really big portions, especially the share box, filled with ribs, spring rolls, chicken balls and lots of salt and pepper chips, chicken and chicken wings, fried rice comes separately with it! Amazing! Ordered black pepper dish, it’s very nice, lots of meat and sauce. Great experience for a family feast!

Normally great food from here, but this evening wasn't very nice, tasted like had been stored overnight and part microwaved. Got horrible stomach ache now!

Called on advice of neighbour and have not stopped since. An outstanding take away delivering excellent food promptly to the door. Food has been consistently outstanding and the one time they forgot something ( a drink ) it was dispatched to us by their delivery guy in 15 minutes. Awesome takeaway

Prawn toast (chicken) on the menu,no content in it,just bread,very poor,chicken balls absolutely lovely,no sauce tho,rest of the meal was lovely,need to get the prawn toast (content) sorted out,threw it in the bin

Have eaten here for years, amd always delicious, but was so disappointed last night. Ordered chicken satay and it had a very large amount of onion n peppers but hardly any chicken. Dont kniw what happened there!

not much flavour to pork curry

Have been looking for a new Chinese takeaway since ours closed. Seems like we may have found it, will certainly be ordering again.

Chicken curry was nice but the chicken tasted like rubber, prawn toast was really greasy and could not tast any prawn's.

Food was fantastic. However, over priced for such a small portion.

I bought a 2 course meal this evening. The spare ribs were absolutely delicious but when I opened the chicken curry it was absolutely cram packed with sliced onions and I found about 3 pieces of chicken and half a dozen peas and when I called them back to complain they did as much as just call me a lier so be very careful what you order from this place in the future.

Food not very good, & you don’t even get free prawn crackers.

First time I've tried this takeaway due to the one I normally use being very busy and over an hour waiting.....but let me tell you I will be definitely using again. I ordered a special curry with boiled rice, vegetable chowmein with chips and a portion of salt and pepper chicken wings, all the food was excellent, hot, tasty and plenty of it. When I got home and started dishing the food out I noticed free prawn crackers which is normal but also a bag of mini spring rolls 😊😊 The only downside I have is that if you want mushrooms in your special curry you have to pay 20p extra 😠 which I thought all specials come with mushrooms. If I was the owner I would change this......but like I said will definitely going back but not paying for mushrooms which I like on principle. Kind regards Andy

Absolutely terrible pancake roll warm on outside nearly cold on inside same with the mixed starter ....chicken wings tasted funny .. special egg fu yung again egg was warm but the meat was dry and only luke warm but took 15 mins come and I'm about 2 mile from shop alarm bells should have rung then . Won't ever use here again

The food did not appeal to me at all with it tasting quite bland, the only decent thing was the curry sauce. First time and last time... Salt & Pepper Chicken, Chips, Chicken Fried Rice, Curry Sauce.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Found during the lockdown and now at least once a week have a delivery from them..... Tried many dishes and all have been perfect. Always piping hot and well packaged too. They also do the best salt and pepper chips in Yorkshire. Thank you!!
