Canton Chinese Takeaway in Harborough

Mushroom chow mein, rubbish, dry, cold and only 2 mushrooms. Prawn curry, cold, tasteless, poor. Won’t be using again! Very disappointing and a very very long wait!

Delivery driver Aaron is polite, punctual and even said hi to my dog cookie.

Ordered sweet and sour chicken balls and an egg fried rice. Get home to find no sauce. Very simple order, meal was bland and dry as a result.

First time used in a long time. Great food, even adapting a dish for me - great service. Would definitely recommend

Delicious Chinese for take out! Only Chinese we will use in Broughton Astley as the food is really good quality. The special crispy beef by far is the best! 🤤Fast delivery service, always friendly on the phone and happy to take card payments when ordering. When ordering an delivery £20 or more we always find we have some extras thrown in like prawn crackers, spring rolls or more which is a nice extra!

Great food, usually delivered in half the time they tell you. If I lived further away, I'd gladly drive to Broughton Astley for the yummy!

Ordered a takeaway today this was the worst Chinese food ever , four seasons and chips , the chips were cremated had a couple of mouthfuls then it went in the bin I will never return

Lovely! Was on time for pick up, very lovely staff there always so busy! 10/10 Prawn crackers were lovely to have free, and it was very kind giving my niece a lolli pop, customer service really great! Flavour is good too.

Waited 30min for the food and then the order was wrong spare ribs should have been dry and they were cold. Second visit as the food was good last time but will not be returning

Canton is our go to Chinese in the area, every time we order it is piping hot, tasty and always delivered within the time window given. Highly recommended!

Excellent food, well cooked. Delivery times are fair and prompt. Pricing is on par with takeaways within the area, however not overly expensive. I would recommend this establishment.

First order from here via delivery. I'll get straight to it. Portion sizes were good. The satay chicken was chewy, possibly over cooked... The satay sauce started off nice, but was overly sweet for my liking. I had to stop eating it. Singapore chow mein's only flavour was of chilli powder, instead of the usual curry flavour I expected. I appreciate each restaurant may cook this differently, but was not to my liking. The curry sauce was lovely though. The chilli garlic beef was very chewy and the sauce was disappointingly bland. No kick of chilli and where was the garlic? Expected so much more. Crispy salt chilli prawns were, however, the star of the show. I could not get enough of these. Really crispy and the fresh green chilli and onions complimented it perfectly. Overall a mixed result. I hope this doesn't come across as too negative as there were some positives. Of course, everyone's taste is different.

Always had great food from here but this time wasn’t the best.... hoping next time it will be as good as it use to be else we will be having to find another Chinese. Food was hot but I think they’ve changed something... taste wasn’t great and the quality wasn’t as good as usual. It may have just been an off day?
