Egg fried rice. it was very tasty. sweet and sour chicken. 17 pieces of chicken, very tasty. Chicken curry. cooked with mushroom and onion. lovely mix . could of done with bit more curry sauce , as always tasty, highly recommend.

Love this Chinese, can’t fault it. Always delivered on time, or early. Great taste by food & plenty of it.

Food is laced with so much salt/msg that it’s inedible. S&P chips would give you a heart attack. Chicken in fried rice is like chewing leather.

Food is always great from canton chef, thought I’d try something knew in the chicken and vegetables, and I can say I will order that again the sauce was good, curry nice and thick but not too thick, salt and pepper chips probably the best I’ve tried, everything came hot was a great meal for my mums birthday

Negatives (£45 Order): Special ChowMein - zero at all about it was special! 95% greasy noodle, a pinch of onion n bean sprouts, 1 prawn, 4 pieces of dry chewy beef (approx 2cm * 0.5cm), 3 pieces of what appeared to be chicken (same), no charsui, lamb, duck, shrooms, broccoli, carrots & no taste! Special Udon Noodles....exactly the same as the special ChowMein. If there was any duck in the duck spring rolls i'll eat my hoop! Salt and pepper re-fried sparra wings, re-fried old rice..try sunny!

Absolutely disgraceful. Made an order to be told an hour later they had cancelled my order due to asking for free prawn crackers?! Yes I did due to spending £45! I have done the same before and always used canton chef but will absolutely not be ever again! Told to wait for a refund from just eat and they were horrible on the phone. Utterly appalling

And I wonder why it was delivered early because the steak wasn't steak it was pewted how they can justify that as steak not even my dog would eat it

It was the second time I'd ever been here. the first time the food was good! but this time round it was very poor. we ended up throwing it in the bin. It was greasy and overcooked so wasn't for us. very disappointed

always arrives lovely and hot the only issue I had was the sweet & sour I wanted the balls and sauce separate but was mixed to sweet for me.....but the best Chinese we have found 😋

First time ordering from Canton. The crispy shredded beef with garlic and chilli was beautiful and so was the sweet n sour chicken (cantonese style). Quality of both meals was on par, if not better than my usual takeaway. The salt and pepper chips were good, lots of salt and pepper flavouring on them. The chips themselves were ok, not as nice as my usual Chinese but covered in garlic and chilli sauce they were delicious. Delivered hot and on time by a friendly lady delivery person. 5 🌟

Paid over 30 pound . Chicken fried rice very dry and hard to swallow. Chicken sweet and sour batter was burned. Not good experience

The salt and pepper tofu was rock solid and inedible. Chips were burnt to a crisp and awful quality. Rang the shop and they refused to do anything about it. Absolutely terrible customer service!! I will never order from here again, the food is below average and ridiculously expensive.

My favourite Chinese in the Wigan/ Springfield/beech hill area. The salt and pepper dishes are so goo!, just the right amount of everything, not too spicy or salty. The salt and pepper boxes are delicious too!! The foo yung is very good, prawn toasts and the spring rolls. They do so many dishes and variations with different types of meats and seafood , there is something for everybody. Service is quick for delivery and if you're waiting to collect. Staff are nice, friendly and attentive, both at front of house and in the kitchen.

First time using this establishment. 2 x sweet and sour chicken, 1 x egg fried rice, 1 x prawn crackers. what an amazing meal. The chicken was amazingly tender and tasty. The veg added was cooked just right right. the rice was tasty and not greasy. prawn crackers very nice. Will definitely be our order from place.

I can understand if they are busy, but please tell me if it’s going to be late! I had to phone up at 1830 to find out if the order was going to be delivered. I had been told on the website that the order was out for delivery at 1800, the actual time it should have been at my home, but it only arrived at 1845. Very, very disappointing!!! This shop really needs to improve on its delivery service as this is our second time of ordering from them and each time the delivery has been late!

Great food, delivered before its estimated time. The only thing I would say is that the starter box’s crisp seaweed it’s less than a one person portion but it’s not really a complaint just an observation. Love the food and I’m definitely going here again

This is the first time we have ordered from here and I have to say it will be the last. We ordered mini spring rolls, spare ribs, special fried rice and prawn crackers which totalled an extortionate price of £37 to be delivered. The food was terrible and considering we paid restaurant prices for a takeaway it was the worst Chinese we have ever tasted, we will not be visiting here again!

Rice was warm delivery driver was outstanding well mannered a credit to be honest

Not as good as it has been and also the mixed starter has shrunk in size but not in cost always wasn't bothered about the price we paid as was always good quality and quantity but it just isn't like that this time
