Been to the Tuesday quizz a couple of times. Great atmosphere and great fun. Drinks are reasonable prices too.

Not been in GBs for a while but it's great to see this great pub in such great shape. The atmosphere was really good and the staff were great.

First time at this venue. Absolutely packed to the brim and overflowing. Otherwise, a good atmosphere. Will try again when there's no finals.

Great night out especially if you are young 21 + Friday night is the best night there is usually a rock band on until 12, lots of birthday and hen night celebrations, good clean fun.

I played ping-pong with Brian May lookalike and won 🏆. Then I celebrated there after drinking 4 cans of fosters. Well worth a visit

As a 53 year old businessman in Hindley who regularly frequents Dough, Summat-to-ate, Kore and Georgia Brown's, I was disgusted last night (after just leaving Dough) to be refused entry as I wouldn't agree for me and my partner to be searched in the middle of Market Street in the rain, for drugs, or weapons by 2 very abrupt and rude door staff! Surely there is a better way to prevent drug dealing, or weapons being present in the pub without humiliating and alienating very regular patrons! I do however understand the issues the bar has had in the past, but this sort of thing would have me rethink where I spend my money in Hindley going forward. Perhaps a regular patrons, or VIP pass could be a way forward to ensure incidents like this don't happen to anyone else who enjoys a good night out without this sort of embarrassment!

1st time back at Georgia Browns since the refurb and new owner and I wasn't disappointed. The new layout is great, the giant screen (which is absolutely massive) and other large screens can be seen from everywhere. Table service was brilliant, door staff were courteous, they serve a good pint and the pizza direct to the table from Dough was delicious. Well done to Kai and the team for a job (very, very) well done👏👏👏👏👏

Very excessive with the checks looked through every bit of the Wallet asked to lift shirt up, needs looking into . Also, no darts on.

Really needed the loo so tried to use the mens as queue for womens was massive and was dragged out by the owner then dragged across the dance floor even though i was trying to leave. 7 months PP and treated like that 👎 Human rights to use a toilet

Had a great time while here, as it was my first visit, sat both inside and out, they have a good clean beer garden, wished I could of stayed to see what it'd like in the evenings, maybe next time I travel up, the staff were great very friendly and knowledgeable.

We had a very good evening the other night watching the oasis tribute band, we found the bouncers very resonable evening though we had a slight issue with our dress code, we shall be right next time so thank you for letting us In, they are clearly a good judge of character. :) Subsequently We spent our money In there an had a good night, although the bars are notceably quiter since covid, Georgia browns is doing a good job of making the place appealing to folks that fancy a good nigh out, I will definitely be going in again, and making sure my mate wears the correct attire.

Best place in wigan by far .....daytime cheap ale and nighttime it is banging until 3 ...I've only ever lasted till 1am though .I'm too old but I love this place 10/10

Cracking afternoon in the new and improved Georgia browns. No trouble getting on the pool table. Good tunes playing and the added bonus of having a small beer Fest on. Fri and sat nights are a bit too busy for me on here but I think I'll be coming again in the afternoon.

Of the places i regularly go in Hindley, GBs is a regular stop for the last few hours before i go home. Essentially a nightclub at night which is extremely lively and has a good atmosphere and the way the upstairs is like one big balcony is pretty cool. It looks great and its a no brainer really when the pubs close. I havent ever been here before 11pm so i can't really comment on how it is during the afternoon/evening but as a place to finish the night it ticks all the boxes.

Fantastic pub post refurnished, Jess has been a wonderful member of staff that advised us on not only the best choice of drink jut once they closed the best local pubs - that certainly take a special kind of bartender!

What Hindley needs live music clean decent cask ales gets busy at weekends but brill for weekend sport in afternoons

AVOID!!! Absolute hole, the place smells of wet dog. The beer gave me the runs for a week and there was a used needle in the mens. AVOID

Great family (and dog) oriented boozer. Fine selection of real ales to boot.

Young lad behind the bar charged me £10 for two double house whiskies.

Decent pub. Slightly over expensive for the area.
