Canotto Pizza in South Lanarkshire

Order a delivery last nigh at 7 o’clock waited nearly 2 hours just for them to cancel my order very disappointed as I always order from here and was excited to try the burger but won’t be back.

Update (Oct 24): My fiance ordered us pizza last week. It was over an hour after ordering when we phoned to ask where it was and it turned out the chap had completely forgot about the order. Something about the receipt not printing. Fair dos and they offered a refund too. Another half an hour passed, by which point it was going on half 9 at night, and eventually our pizzas arrived with the incorrect choice of cannoli also (minor issue, first world problem). But nearly a week since ordering and there's been no refund, or even partial refund, as promised. I can't fault the quality of pizza but wonder if they're taking their customers a bit for granted. ---- Amazing pizza. Easily one of the best available in town and far superior to bigger brands. Order local, people. I got the spicy salami and my mrs got the New Yorker. Both superb.

Pizza is lovely as always, I'm not so happy with half a slice missing though. 👎😡

Ordered the £40 deal for 2. Pizza was nice, tomato base was outstanding. They messed up our side orders and never gave us our desserts. I called to rectify where the girl offered to deliver and asked if we wanted to pick anything else but we were stuffed and politely declined. The delivery never even showed up then I called today where I spoke to the manager & no staff knew anything about it when the girl I spoke to was in the background basically denying it. We eventually got the remaining order today but the side order was still wrong. We went with the good reviews but it was costly for what it was. Disappointed :(

Pizza was over an hour late. I called twice. The first time the staff member didn't apologise and was quite rude. Second call the staff member said she would refund half our bill by way of apology. She didn't. Pizza was good but not outstanding. Wouldn't return.

1804 on a Wednesday the order was accepted for delivery. Delivery was to be 1904. 1915 made a phone call to see where it was. Told it had left 5 minutes ago. (I'm a 5 minute drive away) 1928 pizza arrives and as expected, and it needed to be heated up. It tasted good. £23.20 for a large pizza and dip, delivered. First and last order I'll make.

Amazing pizza!! We got Grandma and Newyorker. Omg Grandma was our favorite. Simple yet super delish🤤 for meaty pizza, we think Errol is better tho.

Absolutely gutted to need to leave this review as I’ve been going to this place since they were in Cathcart. Arrived when the business opened at 5pm to place an order before I started working night shift. Overheard the young girl with glasses slaughtering me for turning up to shop “before the staff have even got there. Get a life” - Made fun of my appearance also. - Btw your doors aren’t very sound proof can still hear perfectly well while they’re shut. The owners are to lovely guys however as a business owner I’d never expect my staff to speak to a customer like that. Besides all of that the pizzas are the phenomenal and Dom puts a lot of love into each pizza.

The pizza tasted okay, it was about average. The dough tasted a bit different and had a peculiar texture, which I guess just doesn’t suit my style of pizza. The restaurant itself is operated in a warehouse like one of those ghost kitchens, we were looking for a shop like the images, but those aren’t accurate.

I recently had the pleasure of indulging in the most exquisite pizza from canotto pizza! From the very first bite, it was clear that the man behind the oven is not just a pizza maker, but an artist. Best pizza I've ever ate. Genuinely put it as number 1 it's that's good. Everything from the pizza to the sides is top tier scran. The grandma, the pepperoni and the Italian sausage are class. Get to Canotto. You won't regret it.

Me and my boyfriend went to Canotto for the first time last night and it’s nothing short of a hidden gem ! Staff were very polite and welcoming ! We got pepperoni pizza and bbq boneless chicken bites, by far the best pizza I’ve ever had ! The ranch sauce was also amazing im craving it again already! Will 100% be back soon thanks for an amazing experience.

The best pizza place in EK bar none. Every single pizza I've ordered from this place (>20 now) have been delivered on time, and always piping hot. The quality is unreal. Staff always a joy, even the delivery drivers have a smile on their face. This is the kind of local business EK needs.

Love love - really awesome pizza, you can taste all the ingredients are super fresh and that crust is to die for. It might be the best pizza we’ve found in a very long time. Pizza was mind blowing. Probably best thin base margarita going in Glasgow atm, just not quite sure about the location out in EK, bit baffling. Should have stayed in Battlefield and did the transition to NY style pizza as now. Fingers crossed they move to a better location soon 🤌🏽

Myself and my partner would highly recommend the NYC style pizza and we were lucky enough to have tried their Detroit style pizza by the slice, secretly hoping they bring this back. We seen they had started doing pizza classes, which we managed to go to today...Dominic was friendly and a great teacher, definitely would recommend it as we had a great time and also got to stuff our faces at the end. Keep up the great work guys can't wait to see whatelse u guys come up with!

Quite possibly the tastiest pizza in EK! 🍕 I’ve ordered a few times and my go to is the New Yorker pizza. The chilli cheese bites and double cooked fries are also a must😋 Customer service is excellent and staff are super friendly, thank you for you being so kind when I messed up the payment 🙈 My canotto craving is likely to kick in again soon so it probably won’t be long before I’m putting in another order.

Worst pizza ever, by a mile. Overpriced to start with, I have never paid £14 for one 14" pizza and it will be the last time, especially one of this quality. Base was chewy, inedible and sauce very thinly spread. I requested one half pepperoni and the other half vegetarian. I saw no veg other than a few unidentifiable black ingredients. The pepperoni was sprinkled very sparsley. I called the restaurant but got no response, nòt an enjoyable meal at all.

We done a pizza making class and the two guys were great! The best pizza I have had in a long time and I don’t think it’s because I made it! Highly recommend

Not the easiest place to find for collection and on arrival told it’s cash only 😳 also prices on their Instagram page not accurate and have increased. Other than that pizza was very nice, deep pan but very light with crispy base. Would recommend

I've been desperate to try Detroit style pizza since I saw and recreated Chef John's version from Food Wishes. I was not disappointed. The crust is perfectly crispy and soft. Highly recommend the dips and drizzles as well. Super friendly owner/chef too.

I’ve cooked professionally for a long time and it’s so rare to find somewhere in this country that focuses beautifully and purposefully on a few things…has a concise menu offering and achieves it perfectly. It takes a total focus on ingredients, great skill and a loving dedication to do things this well. I stumbled upon this place and fell in love. The nicest people and sooo much better than it could get away with. You don’t know how lucky you are Glasgow! Bravo!

Absolutely brilliant! Amazing pizza and top end service from start to finish. We had heard so many great things about the place for a while but couldn't go for ages. It was totally worth the wait. You really need to try both the individual slices as well as the whole pizzas as they each have a totally different elements of tasty goodness. I'd also highly recommend the Habanero Hot Honey along with it. I'm not sure if it's meant for drizzling on top or dipping into but I could actually swim in the stuff. All in all, a brilliantly run family business that'll leave you with a full belly and a massive smile on your face. Actually heading back for a hefty order again this weekend. Can't wait.

Real wee star of the Southside pizza game. Hidden away, quietly knocking up some of the best pizzas in the area. We had the 12-inch pizzas from their evening menu, and were delighted with the choice of quality ingredients and the soft chewy yet perfectly charred dough. Staff were an absolute delight from the ordering process through to the collection, really friendly and engaging. Top tip: the impulse buy cannolis top off a great takeaway!

I almost cried the first bite was sooooo good! You also know it’s a good pizza when you eat all the crust, was perfectly salted and had so mix flavour. Definitely my new favourite pizza in Glasgow!

Popped in at 12pm just after they opened. Lovely members of staff that are super passionate and knowledgeable about pizza and even recommended another pizza place in the Southside I hadn't heard of. Had the grannie slice and the pepperoni slice. Delicious. Crispy, saucy and boiling hot 😋. Excited to try their full pizza pies in future.
