Cannon and Cannon in Lambeth

These guys are a joke. My wife bought me a six month subscription to their monthly meat box. The first box turned up with out of date items in it. They then sent a few of “variable” quality including a block of pure fat. After 3 months the boxes stopped and after some chasing they said they would restart the boxes only to get one more then it stopped again. They agreed to refund the rest of the quite expensive subscription to my wife - a month later I’m still waiting for this. They clearly struggle with customer service and I wouldn’t say their boxes are worth anything close to the £30 price each either.

Great dried meat and very reasonably priced   We got a little carried away at this small cured meat stand. They have A LOT of unique combinations, and the livestock is all local from around the UK. The ones that stood out for me were: Truffle and Mushroom Rosemary and Garlic Fennel But we also had some creative ones if you're feeling brave (including mutton, lamb, and blood orange with chocolate). We bought a few dried sausages for later. Very reasonable pricing. 

Wonderful shop in Burrough Market. Great variety of their artisan charcuterie. Priced by 100gram pieces. They are happy to carve up the smaller meats for a very small order. Many shops refuse to. Bought quite a few 100gram cuts as a sampler. No gripes. Everything tasted great. Not overly fatty nor greasy. Cured very well. Very patient and knowledgeable staff - they took time to answer all my questions. r Reasonably priced.

Slightly expensive for what it is but top quality produce softens the blow slightly. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere.

Perfect spot. Great service, good wine, perfect view (watching people passing). Had fennel sausage and Irish cheese!

Homely, lively little place above a very nice cheese shop in Brixton market. We had the set menu at £40 per person. No choices, but every course delicious - partirdge liver pate, followed by smoked bream with pickled quince, then ham with designer beetroot. Main course was partridge -succulent and juicy. Then a light treacle tart to follow. For £20 per head you get a different wine to accompany each course. Service is friendly and efficient.
