Uno dei miei posti preferiti quando mi trovo in centro per lavoro,praticamente ci vado tutte le volte che posso ed un paio di volte ho portato anche la mia compagna,qualità del cibo e selezione ottima,dai salumi ai vini,dai panettoni ai sughi tutto buono. After walking past the place for the last couple of months I went in this lunchtime and what a place! I had the best sandwich I've had in years – boar and black truffle mortadella with pecorino, rocket and tomato in fresh focaccia, all made to order and under a fiver. The shelves are full of the most amazing array of Italian products and the chilled cabinet has all manner of pasta, cured meats and cheeses. A total gem

Lunch time spot for fresh real authentic italian sandwiches made to order. And for under a £5er! Bargain in Soho. Would pay more for a pre-packaged sandwich somewhere else! Just be early! Bread goes fast at lunch time so don't get caught out!

Amazing italian shop!! You can find every kind of italian food: mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese, olives, bread, everything!! The prices are ok but the quality is TOP! I just love it!

Such good fresh focaccia awesome selection of cheese and meats and the fact that the entire queue was speaking Italian I knew before I even got to order that it was going to be good. I highly recommend going to check it out.

Camesa isn't a reastaurant. I've been shopping at Camesa since about 1964, it's like being in Italy, so great if you need an Italian fix. One of the things that I love is that it hasn't changed in all that time, I think if it was modernised I'd probably stop going there. When I first started shopping at Camesa it wasn't possible to buy ricotta, mascarpone, fresh pasta, decent olive oil in a supermarket and of course now it all available anywhere. Therefore I don't go to Soho specially for Italian food as I used to but shop there when I'm in Soho. Today I bought a mixture of pastas, gorgonzola & walnut, pumpkin, ricotta & spinach, cheese & truffle and gnocchi stuffed with tomato. Garlic, chili and anchovy olives are deliciously delicious.

Ottimo per pranzo veloce, prodotti italiani ottimi, buonissimo sia il pane che la focaccia. La varietà di salumi. formaggi da poter riempire i panini o le focacce è ricca e di qualità. I prezzi ottimi. Non ci sono posti a sedere dentro quindi dovrete trovarmi un posticino appartato. Noi abbiamo preso delle birre in un pub e consumato li i panini.

Camisa es la mejor Delicatessen italiano. Yo tenía una deliciosa focaccia y salami hecho pasta fresca para ir, gran panettones y fresca. Bueno quesos frescos.

I have started to go to this place a couple of times during my lunch break. Fresh olive bread is highly recommended. Fillings are fresh and the service is excellent. Walking into the shop is a flashback of great memories I had in Italy. Don't walk past this place. Pop in and give it a try. Also has an excellent selection of cheese and wine and I'll look for an excuse one day to purchase these items in the near future, especially with Christmas around the corner.

Popped in here to buy a picnic and came out laden with enough food to last a week, it was all so irresistible.

Call in here often when in the area. Small but very busy family Italian with a broad selection of delights and delicacies. Maybe slightly above average prices but it's all in perfect condition and there are lots of things very difficult to obtain elsewhere.

Mercearia italiana, atendimento simpatico o espaço e pequeno mas tem pães incriveis e frios tambem e fazem sanduiches na hora para levar, para um lanche rápido no Soho.

I can guarantee for the mortadella, it's the real italian one from Modena and it's unique. Also the Parma ham is really nice, what I do not find so good were the artichokes and the green olives, quite tasteless. if you want a good focaccia with italian salami or ham, this is the place!

The best place in town to buy Italian groceries, really good price, you can get a mortadella rosetta sandwich for 1/1.5£, the staff is very warming and patient, they tell you whats the best mix for this, how long you should cook this ect. ect. the smell inside is fabulous, reminds me of Italy. Def better than Lina Stores.

Yo estaba buscando algo nuevo que probar en Soho para almorzar y tropezamos con ellos se basan en un comentario anterior. No hay un menú para sándwiches y creo que sólo hacen a la hora del almuerzo. Como no tenía ni idea de lo que quería, la señora detrás del mostrador era muy bueno y ofrecía algunas carnes para probar. Le dije que no tuve que - que me confiado en ella. Hombre, que era una buena opción! Pan fresco, smoky provolone cogidos tiras y algunas carnes curado que ya he olvidado el nombre de. Es un pequeño bocadillo pero bueno, ¡es delicioso y cuesta 3,80 libras y los urbanitas no han descubierto todavía ;) ¡volveré seguro!

I must have been visiting this wonderful little italian food shop for over thirty years. Whether I ask them to make me a sandwich from their freshly sliced parma ham with a slice of one of the amazing cheeses they sell,or treat myself to a cannoli, or buy some of their fresh pasta or gnocchi to cook at home or browse their olive oils or wine, or buy a packet of vegetable seeds to try and grow radicchio I have never been disappointed . This is a real treat of a shop.

I have been coming to this deli on and off for years firstly it smells good! - stocks most things, makes tasty fresh rolls, pastas and sauces, etc. Prices are what you would expect for the centre of London . Always nice to see the little shops surviving in the big city - without them every town centre would look identical.

I love this little shop and especially their olives with anchovies and chillies. These olives are very, very tasty. The quality is consistent - I have been going there on and off for nigh on 30 years and I have never been disappointed. I find the staff helpful and friendly though it helps if you know what you want as one can sometimes feel a little pressurised when there is a queue. The shop is very small so there is very little room to browse at leisure.

Love love love this little shop. Whenever I'm in soho I pop in to grab the most amazing Mozzarella, fresh pastas and sauces. I love the fresh Pesto...The Italian home made sausages are a must also. AMAZING!

Tiny little italian grocer on the Old Compton Road. Stocked to the brim with Italian pasta and sauces and freshly made ravioli with cheeses and herbs. Also visit the Algerian coffee shop on the other side of the road to stock up on tea and coffee.

I was working for a fortnight just round the corner and the boss recommended it for lunch ingredients and generally. It's almost like a fantastical little food grotto but in reality is an incredibly well stocked and serviced little place containing everything you could possibly want. Dried meats like I've not had in an age. Near perfect range of extra virgin oils.

Almost missed it but there was a queue out on to the pavement. Well worth the small wait and the delights of the panini snack and the cold meats, cheese and other goodies we took home. Tantalising and seductive selection even though we were tottering away from lunch nearby.

Came in on Saturday morning. Very busy with a constant but small efficiently dealt with queue. Impressive wide ranging well selected stock. Shop and food smells tantalising and seductive. Unassuming shop front, a couple of delivery bikes outside. Would have bought even more if I could have carried it or been confident I could have shared and eaten it all while still fresh. Envy the lucky folk who live or work close enough to come here regularly. Excellent small family business.

You can find a wide range of Italian deliciuos foods, from salami, mortadella, mozzarella of all kind, pesto and tipical Italian supermarket food hard to find like tonno Riomare and thousand of other stuff. I sometimes come here for lunch to have a delicious panino!
