Camden Passage, Islington in Islington

This is now my favourite market, I came on Sunday which is a big mistake, majority shops in the market open on Wednesday and Saturday! I’ve heard some shops only take cash so make sure you at least have a tenner. I bought a ring which was supposed to be £5, but the owner was so nice and said my ring is small and £3 would do. This place gives different vibe to the other touristy markets, I love waking through the alleyways, and things here are more reasonably priced. You’ll find lots of vintage jewelleries, ornaments, cups etc.

Absolute garbage 🗑️ first and last time not sure what all the fuss is about this place not a patch on Greys Antique market or Portabello market

It is a very short alley, but there are many special independent shops. There are not many people coming on Wednesday, and some shops are not open. It is said to be more lively on weekends.

It’s the ideal spot to visit on a sunny day, with plenty of charming local shops and cozy coffee houses. Our go-to routine is to start with breakfast at The Breakfast Club, pick up a pastry from Buns From Home, and then check through some antique finds. That’s what we call the perfect weekend.

Very quaint little passage with lots of authentic shops and cafes. A real hidden gem where you can get away from the hustle and bustle of London.

Nice to go to, but watch out. Pickpockets are in the area.

Never been here before just rocked up because I heard there were a couple of good restaurants clothes shops and coffee shops. It didn't disappoint. A bit busy and cramped at times but a very nice place. It's somewhere I would visit every time I came up here.

I love this area, so many sweet, small cafes and independent vintage shops! The antiques market is great and sells very cute things at reasonable prices. A great alternative to Camden or portobello road market

Antique Market is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and it is best to go from 11am. I went on a Sunday, but it wasn't very active and I did it sparingly🥲 But it was fun because there were a lot of good restaurants and pretty cafes nearby. I bought a lot of brooches and earrings that I like!

Fun eclectic place chock full of gourmet coffee shops, patisseries, and small intimate places to eat. Something for everyone at Camden Passage.....

Really nice area. Liked it a lot. You can enjoy your time to have a look and touch the things you like / wanna to buy. I would like to visit it again. Btw the name is quite confusing for foreigners. It’s not next to Camden market!! 😂😂 And unluckily, it was a rainy afternoon. Many shops are closed 🥲

I highly recommend it for traveling and having fun, the antique shops and cafes are great.

Ok if you want to eat or drink. A few antique shops and stalls but that's it. Don't travel to Angle just for this alleyway, you'll only be there half an hour if you're not eating/drinking

The place is really great for antiques. Most sellers are incredible. I just had a very bad experience with one of the lady selling jewelry on a stall facing Charlton place, just next to the breakfast club. She tried to sell me one ring 3 times the price it's sold on Portobello. When I pointed that out she became rude. This is the only stall I will not recommand. But one bad seller can definitely depreciate the whole market.

Great to see independent shops still in operation as the area has changed quite a lot since I was a lad.

Great for shopping for Antiques and Collectables. Also food, coffee shops and boutiques among the other numerous shops along this pedestrianised passage. Also a nice pub!

Very limited and mediocre choices. The sellers we encountered were nice though.

Great service, friendly and accommodating staff. Would definitely recommend. Having a beer garden in Islington is quite rare so give it a go.

It's been a while - since BC (before COVID) we'd visited and what a change. Gone most of the vintage & antique shops we loved to rootle in hoping to find that piece of treasure - but often taking home a nice piece for the collection only to be replaced by trendy restaurants & cafés offering all sorts of specialist teas and coffees. Such a shame to see yet another once loved destination disappear.

What a great evening we had at this pub, from beginning to end we had such amazing service and hospitality from a lovely bar man named Jerome. He made our evening! He was so happy and funny throughout and provided a brilliant service to everyone. He is an asset to your company, I hope he's awarded for his fantastic attitude!

Great place to visit for collectibles

Busy and quality antique and craft stalls! There is more variety on a Saturday. There really is a little something for everyone between the quaint shops and the stalls; especially if you walk the full length of the passage.

My impression of Camden Passage. Beautiful interesting shops. Not ideal for mundane groceries but wonderful for special food, antiques, gifts for self and others.

It is a wonderful place to buy antiques. Good food around and a very good old prints. He owner Finbar Macdonnell is in there over 40 years. Nice place to go around with children in weekends.

Beautiful little passage nestled in the heart of Angel. There are shops and a flea market. Also some good pubs and coffee shops.

interesting laneway full of antique shops, bric a brac, card shops, artisan food, restaurants with outside eating spaces, a great pub at the end (Camden head) and lots of interesting little shops selling costume jewelry, ceramics, military gear and other interesting mildly diverting shops. handy for angel tube, Upper steel and a plethora of bus routes eight outside. only spoiled by the new amazon fresh store at one end if the passage

It is nothing but a terribly overrated site with mediocre shops, and, 1 Oriental pottery store (not antique, more of gardening ornaments) and some small coffee, or sushi places in a half the length of Neal Street Covent Garden. We walked into it and left in 14 minutes (that is the whole length with eye shopping, Ridiculous after traveling over an hour to get here) Yes, Just like other reviewers said, at the wool store (with wool doll) with the pink doors (locked, with the open sign at 4:12pm), the staff (old woman) was really rude. turning her back toward us, totally ignoring us and other shoppers. I have no idea why this Camden Passage is suggested as top 11 London Markets in some UK websites. The whole setup of the tiny short alley is gimmicky! Go to Brick Lane/Spitalfields, or Covent Garden, Camden Town, instead.

Excellent shops and eating places. Definitely a place to visit.

The original Islington High Street with an eclectic collection of boutique shops, galleries, open markets and a good variety of eating places (my favourite is Sushi Now). Worth meandering through here for an hour or so, easily combined with a walk along Regent’s Canal, only a short distance away.

Camden Passage Has Changed Over The Years.it used to be an antique street with lots of small shops...now it's full of trendy shops and middle class people

Old & new, lots of little nooks and crannies with plenty to rummage through as well as high quality antiques and vintage items to buy.

Very small selection of vendors. I didn’t find much here and prices were a bit expensive. I would pass on this one unless you are looking for antique china and cutlery.

I love Camden passage, so many lovely cafes and restaurants to eat. Small gift shops are my fav.

ポートベローやバラマーケットのような大規模ではなく、狭い通路に小さなお店や露店がひしめく感じです。高額な物も多いですが、結構お宝やお値打ちものもあるので、ちょこちょこのぞくと楽しいです。この界隈は美味しいカフェやレストラン、アートなお店もたくさゆあって街歩きにおすすめです。

Nothing too exciting. A narrow little walkway with shops carrying primarily old/antique stuff. Very old school British feel. An interesting little passageway to take on your way somewhere else.

Great place to visit for all collectors of what ever you want to collect but a caveat! Let the buyer beware as the old saying of all that glitters is not always gold as Caveat Emptor applies. There are really some great collectables but some are not!

If you fail after vintage of any kins or even antiques this is the place you have to visit. One never knows what could find there.

Mercatino dell'antiquariato e usato storico. Negli anni ha sempre mantenuto un buon livello ed è ancora delizioso passeggiare tra le varie bancarelle in cerca di occasioni o, semplicemente, per curiosare. E con varie stand di cibo, per un pranzo veloce e gustoso.

A Passagem fica em Islington e aos finais de semana é tipo uma feirinha, durante toda semana é cheio de lojinhas abertas.

Recommend for antique lovers, but you might find some merchant very rude. While i was taking picture of my wife(no back ground), a merchant came and blocked my camera and said, "no puctures really". WTH!! I didnt take any of your stuff!!

Paid very little for a Ann Carrington sculpture and found out its worth was £4000. 00.its a great market for treasure hunters. Get there early(10) for the bargains.
