I ask for cutlery and always i don't recive if you try saving money and i need to eat whit my hand then you lost one coustumer i don't gonna order never from here because always if i put one note cutlery ore something else never they don't respect

Lamb doner was disgusting seems like been there for a long time. Don't use any salad it was off. Feel sick for two day avoid this place at any cost.

Had placed an order by uber eats and wish I hadn't, I've never had a terrible kebab but oh my it was disgusting the meat was so cold and dry there was no grease at all on the rock solid pitta showing how old the kebab was , all rubbery and an odd taste , this place needs to be looked at I'd be ashamed to sell what I received tonight, they must of assumed I wouldn't notice and it's a Friday night how can you produce such horrible food

Been using this shop for years, will not b going back again, just been served the smallest Doner wrap,but charged for a large,rude staff, make you feel like you are bothering them, plenty of other kebab shops to spend your money in.

I paid £9 for large donar kebab but this was not a large even thought they said it was. It was very small portion and it was mostly filled with onions. Not happy and not coming here again. Very expensive too for lamb doner.

If your from cally uounlove mamas which now days is cally kebeb. Shows my age. But it's time that little taste of home . Had kebeb in many countries but none tastes like mamas . My favourite is a xl doner in pita and a half halal, which the make daily sauce 😋

My recent experience with this establishment was disgusting, and the attitude was terrible. ill give you the scenario; I placed an order through Ubereats and the order seemed to be placed as normal. it was then around the estimated delivery time and I thought I better check my app for the drivers location so it wasn't missed, so I did, only to find that their was no current active order...very odd so I checked my bank payments and it showed payment has been made. I couldn't find where to contact uber as i had not order showing to query so I decided to call the establishment and inform them of the situation and of what I had ordered, they deferred me straight to back to Uber and told me they had not received the order and couldn't help, they gave me a number to call which turned out to be the wrong number, so after numerous calls and around 45 mins of frustration not knowing what to do, (as I couldn't contact Ubereats support as I had no active order) so I called the shop back. I am then told by the guy on the phone that he had actually cancelled my order because I had requested the meat and chips in the donner meat and chips I had ordered to be put in separate containers...… I mean honestly wow, what a request to refuse, ridiculous!! Overall I'm very disappointed as he could've just told me straight away he cancelled my order and not sent me on a wild goose chase. The finality of the situation is I will certainly not be ordering or recommending this establishment to anyone ever again! My advice best to avoid.

I don't usually bother with writing a review but on this occasion and there has been many now where the food is not fresh like the chips are either hard or don't taste right because their recooked/heated or they don't change thier oil often enough, the small portion of lamb doner is a joke in size, the pitta bread is rock hard(literally I could bang on the table), lamb sish on occasion is fatty and the buns for the burger had fallen apart like thier old, forgets sauce & drinks and to top it of the delivery driver asks if he can keep the change. This kebab shop use to be brilliant back in the day but since I moved back and have been using cally kebab the new owner(Indian man)is rude, tries to over talk you and doesn't like to be wrong. I'm even surprised they have a 3.5 star, I only gave 5 star for the atmosphere with the staff. But avoid if you don't want to be disappointed and there is a another kebab just on the opposite side slightly further down who are better because the own who is tukish knows what he is doing

Friendly, patient staff. Decent portions (couldn't finish all my chips, and that never happens!) and good food - the veggie burger was really tasty and way, way nicer than McDs or BK's veggie offerings.

Ordered via uber eats. They messed up the whole order, doner meat instead of chicken meat. Didn't put any shish in the mixed kebab. Total disaster and a waste of out hard earned money. Never again!

Been there yesterday with a friend for the fist time; the place does not look great, but the service was relatively quick considering it was a quiet time of the day. One elderly staff member seemed to be rather rude, constantly raising his voice in not-so-fluent English and always showing a rather unhappy, disgruntled expression; even while waiting, I checked their small hall and what was visible from the window, he barked something unintelligible at me before we left. Cash only, no credit card allowed, for some reason. Food was okay-ish, but definitely not the cheapest.

Amazing Kebab. Got the combination (minced lamb + chicken), super tasty and juicy chicken, lamb was well seassoned and good spice to it. Generous portion as well. It would be great of you can get fries as well, but overall great meal. The guys were very cordial and polite - not sure why there are some negative comments about it. Reccomended

Chips were okay. Scampi’s we’re burnt to black. And my burglar also was burnt. “Garlic sauce” tasted nothing like normal garlic sauce so I supposed they used the wrong sauce. Not worth the money

We haven't had a takeaway from Cally kebab for years( rather have Petra's on the opposite side of the road)and thought we'd give it a try.I ordered Halloumi salad in pitta bread and it was terrible! The bread was so soggy and the salad was very basic and tasteless the halloumi was delicious though. Chips was brown and had been reheated. Husband's mixed shish was ok'ish salad again was basic and tasteless. Definitely won't be going back.

Was barked at by someone who didn't speak English to take my order. Waited for 15 mins while other customers came and went. Then gave me the wrong order, then was barked at again bu the guy that doesn't speak English. Charged me £13 and I didn't even get my food. Don't go here. There's a much better and friendlier kebab shop a few doors down.

Everything is delicious but they changed to cash only. So that's a hassle.

JUST AVOID! PRICES HIGH QUALITY TERRIBLE SERVICE IS DISGRACE Just another low quality overpriced place will try to rip you off. Ask price before ordering to avoid getting ripped off. Döner with rice and a pot of sauce cost £11.20 (no salad) which is literally %50 over average, large size boxes döner prices on this quality and the portion is not even close! Prices are not transparent and owner or whoever takes orders there pushing basically to top the bill as much as he can, charing every food item individually (boxed döner is NORMALLY a standard come with rice, salad and sauces and some places even offering free drink on side)

Extremely expensive, Expensive, EXPENSIVE The new management, who are not even Turkish, are pushing this shop down hill. They are consistently raising food price with the latest attempt of %25 rise in one go. The most EXPENSIVE takeaway in the whole UK, even much more expensive than high quality "restaurants". Better off ordering from proper restaurants in haringey with quality service and less expensive menu than this takeaway shop, unless they wish to reconsider their menu.

I have been advised their Donner is not halal, please question the chef and owner and ask them who their supplier is.

I always order from Caledonian Kebab via JustEat. The food is always delicious and fresh and the delivery arrives very quickly. The food is reasonably priced too with very generous portions! I like that the food isn’t excessively greasy. Definitely recommend Caledonian Kebab! Thank you guys!

lamb doner was fantastic. salad comes with the order...ask for the garlic and chilli sauce to complement your wrap/pita.

Ok food but really really not worth it I've ordered from these guys many times but it takes about 90-120 minutes to be delivered so really not worth it at all.. they forget things and just don't care. Don't bother walk to a closer one or order elsewhere

Great service & the shish kebab wrap was amazing, I bought some chips and asked them throw some in the wrap. Tasted great and the meat was tender.

This place used to be the best in islington around 10-15 years ago. Now the quality has dropped. Burgers soggy, lamb doner used again next day rude staff. They've put their prices up. The chips never cooked properly. Such a shame. They don't put no dressing on salad, onions too strong. Meat is frozen and defrosted. It's gone down hill so badly. Sorry for harsh review but it's true.

Good place to buy a kebab fresh and tasty

I get deliverys from here around once a month, and while I never usually leave reviews; I had to leave one today as I'm just perplexed that the driver keeps on shorting my change by a £1. It's really started to get on my last nerve! So if you order from here make sure you have the correct change, or that you're not distracted in any way. I think it will be some time before I make another order. As I'm in the process of looking for another kebab shop.

My first visit and I had takeaway small chicken shish kebab, garlic sauce, pitta, salad and halloumi for £7.70 (10% off the menu price because i collected). The kebab was very nice indeed though I should have ordered the large and will do so next time. The halloumi was sadly disappointing, hence 4 stars not 5, plenty of it but dry so not to me worth £3.10. This is definitely a takeaway and delivery place, though there is a small table to sit at.

Awful food, rubbery and flavourless, the fish was burnt and the sauces vile, we ordered kebab fish and chips with burger and chips, chips were dry as anything and the burger was soggy with meat that I swear wasn't beef, this is my first time ordering from here and I never would again it was a waste of 25 quid, avoid at all costs
