Cena perfetta, portate abbondanti e prezzi in linea. Ale pie & steak da dieci e lode! Ambiente informale e suggestivo. Sono venuta qui principalmente colpita dal nome e fortunatamente il pub non mi ha deluso anzi! Consigliato!

One of my favourites in London. A classic flat-roofed no-nonsense pub. I love the carpet, the staff and the atmosphere. I proper Londoner's pub like pubs should be. No real ale though but perhaps there is not a market for it here.

Popped in with the team on the way to a meal, not a bad place, decent drinks menu, but the service was appalling, they were crowded, but still didn't have enough staff on. Would I go back? Only if it wasn't busy

I have never known such friendly and accommodating staff. Josie, Yasmine, Hannah and everyone are so nice. I highly recommend the Shakespeare's Head

Decent drinks and location (being a Spoons in London) but a staff member was incredibly rude to me and just kicked me out when I was in tears looking for my missing phone. That said I’m giving it 2 stars bc another member of staff was very helpful and did find my phone and returned it to me - so thank you so much to him, and to the other female member of staff, you made me really upset. You don’t know the impact your words have. Really unkind, let alone unprofessional, for you to behave like that.

Dreadful food, poor value for money. Definitely one to avoidfor food. Some of the staff were pleasant, some were awful.

Tipico pub inglese dove bere ottime birre mangiando alette di pollo con patatina o il tradizionale fish and chips.

Bad attitude from the stuff, the food was away from expectations. The location is perfect, prices are acceptable.

Out I went, for a thoroughly intense knees-up with Janto, Chunger and Big Mervyn. After drowning our sorrows with Big Merv’s inheritance from his deid Mam, and ingesting some lighter fluid avec workerman’s glue, we headed to The Joker for a knees up. First in, Chunger got in the pints which were all exceedingly tasty and helped wash down the acrid tang of glue at the back of my throat. It was only after Janto repeatedly and brazenly kept impersonating a couple on a date next to us, by doing the young man’s lovely, soft posh accent that things really got funny. ‘WHAT IS SO FUNNY?’ He boomed. ‘Please let’s just leave, these men are savages and I think they’re on something, they’re out of their heads!’ said his date. We laughed some more and Merv said, too right, we’re out of our heads on good times, and also a heavy dose of my deid Ma’s dosh. ‘You sick freaks’ intoned the gent. ‘You think you’re so funny!’ It was then that Chunger stood up and roared with the strength of a hurricane into his own pint glass - ‘I AM TRYING TO HAVE A LAUGH. MY FATHER WAS NOT VERY NICE TO ME’ We fell about the floor laughing and ordering more pints which flowed as fast as the beautiful currents of the Arno. Things became decidedly ugly when I took a gulp of the young gent’s gravy which was on his plate, but Big Mervyn settled accounts by leaning on the man’s shoulder and whispering a few sweet nothings. Overall, I had a cracking night and the craic was 90 as we Ho Ho Ho’d all the way home with the young couple’s umbrella which they very kindly gave to us, as well as £50, which was very generous.

Disappointing experience at Whitecross St Pret. Staff provided false information and were disrespectful when confronted. Worker even swore at me. Left feeling upset. Hope management takes action to improve customer service.
