We heard so much about this place that we decided we had to go .. very friendly and effective service. Menu was varied and appetising and prices were reasonable. Well worth a visit

Second visit here, thought I'd reviewed but obviously not. More suited for takeaway as there are only 2 tables and a couple outside. We sat inside and got chatting, it was quiet and the friendly woman in charge was quite happy for us to stay for a good while. There are a lot of tray bakes and brownies and caramel so if you have a sweet tooth like me then you'll be well served. I had a caramel shortbread and it was excellent. The coffee was nice and hot and lasted all the time I was there. I must be honest and admit we got lost trying to find the Farm Made Tearooms in Rainow(!), recommended by my friend, but this was a very good standby in the circumstances.

Lovely afternoon tea for three. Two of us vegetarian but didn't feel like we missed out at all. Everything freshly prepared and friendly service - even after I got the time wrong and arrived 30 mins later than expected! Would recommend highly.

3 High StreetWhat a great place! The breakfast was excellent, the decor beautifully done with a mixture of themes and all the staff were fabulously cheerful and helpful. What’s not to like? Great to see an independent doing so well in these days of multinational chains. They have lots of regulars coming in and not surprising! Highly recommended! Thank you to you all.

13-15A Grove StreetWe have visited the restaurant twice & on each occasion enjoyed the food & atmosphere. Aisha was a wonderful host & made sure we were looked after & nothing was too much trouble. The chaat bombs & mango kulfi went down an absolute treat……delicious! Definitely will be coming back again & recommend this highly.

41 Wheelock StSo glad to have had Café Bonbon recommended to me by word of mouth. What an excellently-run café! David is a friendly and accommodating proprietor, nothing seems too much trouble and he takes time to genuinely engage with customers. Placing an order a day in advance went smoothly. David was helpful and efficient in responding to both phone and email enquiries and his communication was excellent, which is always a godsend, especially these days. The sandwiches are fresh, tasty and made with care. Superb choice of fillings and dressings! The cakes are also delicious, fresh and interesting. All in all, good value for money. A wholly positive experience, and one that you only get when someone loves what they do. Looking forward to returning in the future! Thank you David and David.

Church RoadA refreshing change! Always loved this restaurant and new management have continued the high standards we’ve come to expect. Lovely new updated decor. More light. Food was amazing. We opted to try out the £15.95 option and we’re not disappointed. Absolutely delighted with every course we chose. Loved the freshly but light veg starter courses we selected. Almost too much overall for us. Look forward to returning very soon. Impressive and special thanks to our delightful waiter ! Well done, young man.
