A typical Costa outlet. Place is quite big and popular. Seating outside is limited due to its location, but enjoyable. Outdoor seating is semi covered. Enjoyable drink and standard Costa food. Friendly staff.

Pleasent and welcoming staff, quick service. Always make a great drink. Clean and tidy. Nice place to relax.

Always pop in, in the morning before work great service !! normally it’s the two girls are on in the morning, I always order a vanilla latte and they know my order when I go in, great customer service will continue to use ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great coffee and cozy atmosphere

Ordered a large takeaway latte and got less than half a cup of coffee and the rest of it complete foam!! Literally 60% foam. Knew it was too light as i was walking out of the store but the barista looked like she couldn’t be bothered to do her job so i left without checking the cup contents. The pictures are without me taking a sip and just trying to move all the foam out of the way to see where my drink actually starts. Completely unacceptable for a drink that costs over £4.00!

Staff are very friendly. WiFi is a bit iffy. Sometimes, when you visit, you cannot log on which makes life difficult for a business meeting which is why we try to avoid this branch. Some foreign gangs present so noisy. Perhaps best avoid if you want peace and security. Be careful with tech - folks waiting to steal. Take laptops and phones to the loo with you.

Not impressed.Visited this morning.No bread, no teacakes.Charged £3 .80 for .Wa flat white.Halifax and Huddersfield charge £ 3.55. Will not be returning.

Employee coughing on my coffee while preparing, I watched the whole time and the lady did not stop to wash or wipe her hands once. I’m so put off

Had a tea but the cup was filthy. Not wanting to create a scene I ask for another cup. This too was filthy with gunk at the bottom of the cup just like the first one. The third cup had a ring of dirt around the rim. I opted for a paper cup and left. Staff member not bothered and put the dirty cups back on top of the coffee machine to use again.

We go every week for a coffee before shopping. Good atmosphere and its the same people so we get to know them

Toilets were filthy, if my granddaughter hadn't of needed to go I'd would of gone elsewhere. Drink was ok

If you ever wants to get offended, you should visit this place, very rude behaviour from the staff, most unprofessional staff ever

It was clean. Accurate order. Easy to find a seat.

Each time we've visited this last few occasions, we were horrified to try find a table indoors that had flies flying around the cups & plates still left on the tables and having to flick crumbs etc off the seats, we won't be going again until things have change, also we didn't see any fly protection over the food counter after our previous review 😡

I went into costa cafe today and I was absolutely appauled at the kind of service received by the rude member of staff behind the counter. A full line of people behind me were watching. All I asked was for some old newspapers I needed for home and the lady very rudely replied ‘NO WE DON’T SELL NEWSPAPERS’. I think some the staff member needs to attend a training course on how to deal with people. Shame on you and I advise all people to AVOID AVOID AVOID this horrible place.

Visited Costa cofee in dewsbury today, we bought 2 bubble teas amongst other drinks, we realised the bubbles wasn't coming up through the straws and when we enquired the person in charge (male) said they have run out of straws and gave us 2 new straws but again this wasn't working, when I asked to replace the drinks (one had only been drank a little) he refused to replace even after explaining that they had sold a product that was incomplete, he then said he told me that there were no straws when placed the order so he didn't just lie he didn't replace my drink, very bad service, on top of that the dirty man emptied a bin, pushed it down with his bare hands and didn't wash his hands, disgusting person!!! Absolutely appaling won't be visiting here again!!

Toast was not toasted properly. Drinks were luke warm. The girl making the toast kept having to remove her long hair from her face. Surely, this should have been tied up properly!

Came in for breakfast, staff were rude and served in an order of their own choice missed items off the order and claimed they weren’t ordered by the time we received our food it was cold, the staff were unhelpful, and they prioritised one of the staff running out to grab their breakfast than serving customers

Went there when the Dewsbury 10K was on, must have caught management by surprise. 2 staff were working and the queue was out of the door.

No almond milk anymore?! And the coconut milk contains soya which I wasn't informed of at the birstall branch and was subsequently ill, 🤬 however at the Dewsbury branch, the lovely young man couldn't have been more helpful. I ended up having a fruit tea. It's not always about lifestyle choices! Guess I'll have to go elsewhere.

Very slow service. There's normally like 2 members of staff. 1 is always cleaning and other is serving and then making the drinks. Takes much longer than it should.

Filthy toilets. Floor flooded. Toilet paper all over the floor and worst of all most of it was soiled. Disgusting, my first and last visit to Costa Dewsbury.

It can be quite busy in the morning but the food and place is great.

Dirty tables out the floor is disgusting they never sweep up not enough tables and chairs people go but food from gregs and coupland and just sit down at Costa tables and the service is absolutely disgraceful disgusting the staff will wait until they stopped talking to each other before serving you then they don't listen to what you say the order is wrong ive travelled all over Britain and this is the worst costa in the world do yourself a vavor and don't vist this place

Ordered two coffee’s one was oat milk the the other was a latte, was given one correct and one just hot milk the girl was rather rude, i went to my car realised later didn't bother going back

I can’t fault the place at all, Conel is by far my favourite - I’ve been to many coffee shops and service like his is so rare!! Makes the experience so much more enjoyable :)

Closed 25 mins before closing time. I am writing this review sitting outside the cafe!! Both staff members looked at me and one waived as closed and the other just continued doing whatever she was doing. The sign clearly says closes 17:30 and I was 25 mins well before that! Drove a distance to get to the place .. disappointing!!

Chipped saucer and po- faced staff. I had a chipped cup a few weeks ago. Heckmondwike Costa is much better.

Update: 5/11/2021 - 15:00 I was served by Holly at the till, but the Barista making my order gave me the wrong drink. I accepted it for the sake of it. Anyway, Holly later realised the drink offered was not correct and came to my table with the correct drink - well after I placed my order. Really pleased. Holly is a credit to Costa and I applaud you. Keep doing you; it's enough! Stay Awesome, Holly! :D xx

Busy place but great atmosphere and coffee

It was fine and as expected from a Costa, disappointed they had no gluten free options and the visit was ruined as so many people sat smoking right at the two entry doors that were fixed open that the whole place smelt overwhelmingly of cigarettes which wasn't very nice for a non smoker or the kids!

Staff very rude, they got the order wrong and then acted like we were wrong they also were really rude when I asked for sugar almost shouting at me that I didn't ask for any, the coffee it's self was burnt and tasted awful definitely not worth the money, this place needs to invest in staff training

Had a lovely time with my friend. Spent a couple of hours here. Got a drink each when we got there and then ordered another 2 drinks on the app but didn't realise that they wouldn't be brought to our table but instead we had to collect from near the door. Good customer service.

Coffee is same as any costa you go to but most of the staff are rude

The coffee is nice however the staffs appear to confused at all times if you order via app. They struggle to meet a good standard when dealing with this. It seems that they don't know what they are doing.
